The calculation of revenue from Twitter Blue get's even worse when you factor in that a signifiant portion of users will sign up for twitter blue from an iPhone, which means they'll be using In App Purchases to get Twitter Blue. For those cases Apple would take a 30% cut. Meaning they would only get 5.60 USD per month per user who happens to have signed up via an iPhone. EDIT: I checked and right now you can ONLY sign up to Blue from an iPhone. So that 30% cut is on everything

You're wrong about Musk not having done anything yet. He has fired most of the moderation team. That obviously negatively impacts content moderation on Twitter which immediatly hurts advertisers. If you can't enforce your moderation on what is or isn't allowed, then you don't have moderation. In fact, one executive responsible for handling online advertisements for various large companies has tweeted at Musk with his concerns of lacking moderation staff, and was blocked by Musk in response.

If private companies don't want to have their name connected to some type of messages or person, they in our capitalist system have all the right to. There's freedom of speech and consequences to the things you say. If Twitter has no consequences then of course normal people are going to leave in droves and advertisers know that. Every company that allows hate speech or encourages hateful language goes the way of the Dodo. Even if you ignore that aspect of Musk's decisions, having someone who is changing things on the live website from hour to hour without first testing it and has fired most of the staff is going to make advertiser's and users flee from Twitter.

The prevailing theory is he never actually intended to go through with the purchase, it was a angle he was working on… but Jack Dorcey (Twitters founder) outsmarted him. I'll do a big post on the theory, but basically Elon was doing… Stock manipulation, Using it as an excuse to sell a lot of Tesla stock without spooking the market, And as a distraction from his sudden bad PR due to sexual harassment cases. And then there's the Right Wing chanting "do it, do it" and him succumbing to the _hold my beer_ instinct.
