We're on a family cruise! There were so many first times. It was my brother-in-law, Phil's first cruise ever, my one year old niece's first time also and first time out of the country, and our first cruise all together with my parents and kids. This cruise set sail on December 15-18, 2023.
We booked this cruise to celebrate Phil's 36th birthday, my 44th birthday, Mom and Pop’s 45th Anniversary, and Penelope’s 1st Birthday.

Fantastic! Isn’t it a great time? You’ll totally enjoy it with your kids. How old are they? Mine are both 8 and they really love the water slides. But to be honest, I like Carnival’s setup in regards to the slides and location much better. It’s easier keeping an eye on the kids. I kind of don’t like how RCI’s slides are tucked away in the back of the ship. What are your thoughts?

How was the weather? Was too cold to be at pool? Was it rainy? Windy? Would you travel in December again? Looks like you guys had soo much fun!

Hello there! This was our second time cruising in December. Dec 2022 was definitely more cold than last December. I guess it really depends each year. Last December, the weather was not too bad, however, the pools were pretty cold. I spent most times in the Jacuzzi. It did not rain at all and not very windy. Ensenada was also perfectly fine that I just wore a polo shirt around. I love traveling in December, because cruise prices tend to be more affordable. We had such a great time and would totally do it again!
