I had to do a presentation on a company and I chose Glossier and had to do research on Emily herself. This was so much fun to watch because you caught more than I did and I learned new things! ❤️
Using this video as research in one of my marketing subjects at uni! I'm doing an analysis of Glossier's marketing and social media strategies, so to hear about the CEO is super helpful! xx
@@Caitlinsowers ah thank you for responding.:) If you don't mind I think the next person on How She Did It Series could be Bozoma Saint John. I think she has a great and tragic story.
Yeahhhh for Emily and for all of the women that will follow her!! We can for better than 6% and we will!!! The future is very bright for you my beautiful girl ... Keep dreaming and never give up... Keep your eye on the prize! Xo
It is, I mean it as a compliment! I had worked all day and sat in my bed for a second googling Emily Weiss after watching her on Whitney Port's channel, where Whit and her husband are rewatching The Hills rn. Anywho, Emily was on an episode. So when I googled her your vid eventually came up and I watched. 😁 Your voice is soothing and before I knew it I had dozed off towards the end. The minute I sit down after work I can fall asleep lol. Your voice is very calming.
Hmm, I see this as over-indexing. She did appear to have a slightly more affluent upbringing, as do many, but they don't manage to build a unicorn company with a 1.2B valuation. Lots of hard work was done which I would love to see Emily have credit for!
@@Caitlinsowers No one is saying she doesn’t work hard. The previous commenter was just acknowledging how coming from a family with money/connections can help bring someone’s ideas to life in a way someone who did not grow up with privilege could not (or would have to work 10 times harder to achieve)
“Aries is a passionate, motivated, and confident leader who builds community with their cheerful disposition and relentless determination” - Wow! This is totally Emily. You’re lucky to be an Aries!
