The Smallville version of Lois required a powerhouse of a woman to pull it off. Really bright, incredibly capable (physically and emotionally) while also nurturing and caring and sensitive. Ms. Durance pulled it off, seemingly, effortlessly. That can't all just be her acting. She must bring a good bit of that with her in real life. This interview certainly jibes with/supports that hypothesis.
It was great to hear that Erica was so supportive of Peyton on set. I also hope that maybe Erica could be a part of the podcast in later seasons. Her experiences and insights into certain episodes would be awesome to hear.
Erica is genuinely amazing. I met her a month ago and she is THE NICEST. Whether you are talkative or less so, burst into tears or not when you meet her, she welcomes you and your emotions and your personality with open arms. She is so grounding and so normal
Now seeing it when I saw that episode Lois actually felt like a mother too even in season 10 Lois with Lucy or anyone that matter she’s feels like a serious mom when she’s needs to or a funny mother can be I feel like me and Lois connect I feel like even if we have issues with siblings I’ll be the first person running out that door to go save her no question also I feel like Lois wasn’t even Lois in the episode just Erica being Erica because of the manner in episodes where’s she’s just more protective I’m glad that Lois character has that I really like how this Lois plays more better then any other Loises in Superman medias that’s me when I didn’t care to much about Lois until this series.
Hahaha in one clip tom tells her she hasnt aged and she says i love you, then michael said you looking really young and shes like tumbleweed and here michael is trying again to get a "i love you" hahah. Bet he's thinking "DAMN YOU TOM!!!" haha
