Ezio is gettingtrained by me to become the best assasin the world has ever known in heaven.❤️ Raquescat in pace Ezio and Altaïr Hope i spelled it right cuz i dont speak Italian that often. Love to every known protagonist in the series!❤️♥️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👏👏👌
@@WingOfSteel hey just want to tell you if you want to roleplay as Altair you should know that none of them believed in Christianity. Most of them went against them
Definitely Ezio's death, it hits home after playing the trilogy. He was able to live the life he wanted before he died since he didn't have the choice to become a Assassin and didn't want to die in a war he saw no end to. Requiestcat in pace mentore.
Thanks to memories of Altair, he was able to decide to live for himself. Altair's and Ezio's death really parallels each other, one died alone for the Creed and the other died with family last in mind, and away from the Creed.
I honestly always want to play that game over again to watch it. But I can’t get over the hours upon hours of sailing, just not my thing. Still a beautiful story.
@@Fishingwithmyfishers Sailing was my favourite part of that game. I know it's not traditional AC formula. But I enjoyed it. It could be because I got introduced to this series by AC Rogue which is child of AC3 and Black Flag. The naval battles were awesome and there were a lot of underwater shipwrecks and bandit caves and small Islands to explore.
For people that don't know, the guy that sat down and talked to Ezio was a Templar assassin sent to kill him but the Templar saw how he was so frail, weak and posed no real threat anymore, so he just let him live instead.
You cam just catch a glint of silver when he puts his hand on top of Ezios, also if you read Ezios expression carefully you can see, recognition, anger and finally the "you got me" face. Never been officially confirmed though.
Layla found Bayek’s and Aya’s graves. The Hidden Ones must be the one who bury them, especially their graves are so close to each other. So I’m assuming both of them died from old age, same like Altair and Ezio.
I played through Black Flag before I beat Assassins Creed 3. There's this part in Black Flag where you hack your bosses computer and one of the key files it pulls up is Desmond's autopsy report. All I remember is the absolute shock I felt having his death spoiled so nonchalantly. My friend got a good laugh out of my reaction and said this is exactly the reason we play games in the correct order
there's all types of information on every single computer your aloud to hacked in black flag... ppl should take the time to do them all fills in a lot of info for AC.
The transition from Altair to Ezio in that cutscene when they finally meet will always be one of my all time favorite moments in gaming, period. That rotating panning shot through centuries of time from one master to another was just art in its purest form and even watching it again today still sends shivers right through me. One of the most amazing moments in the entire series. Up until that point the transitions between the two characters were a sudden switch, triggered by Ezio looking at a Masyaf key. That was the only transition between the two characters in the entire game that was totally seamless.
For me the most sad and literally unfair dead was Edward's. The guy finally found redemption after all those years of being a cruel killer for money. And what the hell the guy could clean an entire fleet alone and you are telling me that two assholes just kill him BRUH
technically he isnt as skilled as we see him in the game as we play. but i agree 2 people should have stood 0 chance against Edward as the man had many tools to use and even without them man was a legend with his two swords
@@svartrbrisingr6141 I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the reason why he had such a shit death was that they released the comic revealing his death before they made black flag, meaning in their mind he was just a bit of backstory for Haytham and Connor rather than a protagonist. If the comic had come after the release of black flag, I think his death would be much different.
@@Mid0_2004 The Book tells AC3 Through Haythams perspective from growing up in London to traveling to America..Edwards death is also mentioned in because haytham was there when the ambush happened he killed one of the 3 men i remember That was his first men he killed with the sword that Edward was going to give him when he is skillful enough
I think Connor is underestimated as a character, he showed himself as a cold-blooded, laconic and unemotional assassin, Altair was once like that, he reminded me of him. Yes, he was manipulated a lot, sometimes he showed himself as not the smartest, but the character was absolutely cool. Also, he's the strongest assassin, 1 against an entire army with a tomahawk, wow. For me, he is in the top 4 best assassins, after Desmond, Ezio and Altair.
To be honest, they could have developed him slower. The story of AC 3 was way to rushed, they tried to put way too many things into one game. Haytham origins, the birth of Connor, the upbringing of Connor, the training of Connor, the actual story, and even some insights into the end of Connor. They should have turned it into at least a two parter. The reason why they could flesh Ezio out so much is because they had 3 games to work with. The first is his initiation into the Creed, the second is his work in the Creed and finally as a leader of the Creed. With Connor, they basically put all 3 in one game. I feel like AC 3 was an experiment. This was the first game that had actual side story quests, with the whole Homestead building, my favourite part of the game. This was the first time they experimented with firearms as actual weapons. I know they had a "gun" in Brotherhood, but that was just a tool. This was the first time they introduced crafting, ship combat into the game. They tried out a bunch of things and it hurt the game very much.
The ending to AC4 makes me cry every time, between seeing all of Edwards fallen friends at the table with the angelical tone of Anne Bonny's voice singing or just knowing that such a great game is coming to an end. It brings a tear to my eyes every single time...
That’s why after finishing the story the game world felt so empty to me. All my fellow brothers and sisters in arms had either left or died, and my journey was done. It felt like the end of an era, and I was but a lingering relic cursed to exist past my time’s end Reminds me of a quote I cannot remember the origin of, “ The worlds the same as it was before, there’s just less in it”.
Kassandra's was so tragic. Imagine living your life as an immortal and seeing your loved ones die one after the other until you are truly all alone in life. She lived so so long from when her loved one's left her. Living such a lonely life missing those you cared for in your life. I wouldn't wish that in anybody. I'm sure that she wanted to die badly sooo many times but she had the responsibility that Pythagoras gave her. The mission with her and Eivor in Valhalla just broke me. She's been through so much heartbreak. I'm sure she awaited death to finally be with her loved ones and not be in pain anymore. Not only that, but she lived through so much in history. It would be so traumatizing.
I think what annoyed me so much is Layla not caring a jot about her death right after it happens. I'm sure Kassandra was relieved she was freeing herself of her burden and maybe that factored into it a bit. But Layla's reaction, or lack thereof, was horrible and just outright cold. I've always preferred Desmond over Layla as the modern day protag.
That was definitely the spirit of Death at Ezio's last moment. Nodding quietly to let him know everything was okay after the coughing fit. Telling him to "get some rest"
Don't we exactly know where and how Eivor died? Spoilers - After destroying the order of the ancients and setting up the brotherhood with the help of Hytham, she goes on multiple adventures with final one being in Paris around the year 886, she returns and settles back in Ravensthorpe taking care of the clan. After an extended period of time, she decides to leave the life behind in search of a purpose, as she finds the life as a Viking and an Assassin meaningless, so she says her goodbyes to all friends, including King Aelfred who creates the templars with the help of Eivor. Then she finally sets sail to Vinland, as she encounters the apple there, to seek peace from the Odin sage inside her and learn from it, instead of fighting it. We know this place is Concord, Massachusetts. It is presumed to be death from natural causes because she gave up the life of violence in search of wisdom and knowledge. This also sets up Assassin's Creed 3's plot as she helps out ancestors of Connor.
Wow, all of this means that we really needed valhalla in the franchise as it ties into basically every other AC game and also shows the villains side of the story and the templars origins, especially AC 3. That also explains the theory that Connor’s father Hytham kenway was named after the Hytham from valhalla, aka Edward kenways son. It ties into the plot of AC 3 and AC 4
@@bryanalvarez4079 It's easy to write Valhalla off but it has the most lore and meaning out of any ac game in terms of the universe. It has it's flaws, especially few of the underdeveloped arcs, but that aside, it's a great game. Just wish more people gave it a chance. I know most og fans would love the lore and expansion of the universe.
@@hawken796 yeah man, I think what they could’ve done was make the game a little smaller, when it comes to everything you need to do in order to fully beat it, and if they had hooded combat since the game first launched
For Haythem's death, I believe that he let Conner kill him. Haythem was more than strong enough to strangle Conner with just one hand. But he instead let go of Conner's left arm to use both of his hands which in turn let Conner use his hidden blade in his left hand to kill him. While Haythem was very dedicated to the cause of the Templars in his own way, there was still just enough conflict in him to at least give his son a chance to live even if it meant he would be killed by his own son.
Haytham got his karma back , his father was an assassin , he joined Shay cormac and made him kill Arno's father , who is also an Assassin's . In the end templars must be put down . Only Shay survived.
It feels as if Layla died in vain or perhaps it was suddenly. Besides, apart from Ezio and Altair's the saddest one was the end of Kassandra. You know, after being along her in 999.999 hours of playing.
@@Ligmaballin Precisely, that's the point. Kassandra was cursed with a long life and probably dying in vain. The Valhalla events are leading to something dark. It can't be explained without spoilers. Anyway. She was carismatic, funny, brave, ironic ...
@@Draconis She was nothing, she had no personality of her own, it was all of the player's decisions. She wasn't funny, and i thought every assassin was brave...
Black Flag was my first entry into AC. The scene where she starts singing and he 'sees' all his comrades across those years sitting at a table as if still friends, that was pretty heartbreaking. I know people coming and going all to well. So many. Edward's head snaps back as it hits him, and he goes on. The scene where Altair sits down one last time, and the ghostly last breath plays across time to Ezio, a good scene.
Haytham said it from one killer to another, not as father to son due to the fact that he said he should've killed Connor years ago. Haytham felt nothing towards Connor.
@@AdderTude Haytham still thought of Connor as his son and was proud to see that Connor was able to accomplish soo much, he didnt love him like a father would but you can see he had respect for Connor's success and commitment
Why didn't you mention that Haytham let Connor kill him? That's why he stopped grabbing Connor's arm, knowing how smart is Haytham he wouldn't have let Connor's amr go cause he was "distracted" it's also mentioned in Assassin's Creed Forsaken that Haytham let Connor kill him because he didn't wanted to kill his son, you should mention this kind of stuff next time
@@lando1224 then why did he stopped grabbing Connor's arm on purpose? The "comic" (it's a book) tells about Haytham life, and it also mentioned that Haytham let Connor's arm free ON PURPOSE, it also says that he never had intention on killing Connor and the only reason he said that he should had killed him earlier was because he was too proud to admit he did not wanted to kill Connor
Bayek's and Aya's story probably: They had an extremely good run and were probably feared as ghosts amongs the "templars", since none of them even knew they existed (they would make terrible assassins, if so). So I think they both lived the rest of their lives as assassin mentors, maybe met new loved ones and died of old age. Arno: As we know Arno wanted to leave France with a ship, as he talked bout it in the Dead Kings DLC. Not sure where he went, but maybe somewhere, where the assassins are minimum active since he was cast out of the brotherhood. Maybe started his own kind of little business, retired and died of old age, to Eivor: Eivor never really had interest into becoming an assassin, so after the events of Valhalla he finished the things in England that were left, after all the missions were done. Then he must've sailed to America (Vinland) where he maybe met a Native American women, fell in love and died of old age as a retired viking and ally of the assassins. My personal theory that would be the most logical endings for them.
They show how eivor died in the final chapter dlc. She (female eivor is canon) finished her business in England and sailed to Vinland where she lived peacefully with Odin still in her head.
Also Aya is a direct descendant of Kassandra, which made it even more awesome. The scene were Bayek and Aya are parting ways, "creating" the AC Icon and the brootherhood itself and then the music shifts to Ezios Theme - is (for me) one of the greatest cutsceens ever. Shivers down my spine and tears in my eyes.
The one that made cry my eyes out was the Oddsey Bloodline DLC where Neema died and his son was taken for Alexios. That hit way too deep for personal reasons.
I find it kinda heartwarming that Shay died as an old man, training both his son and grandson. He may have become a templar, but the man suffered a lot. He deserved that happines
Shay was the embodiment of what the real message of the Brotherhood was. Make no mistake he was one of the best Assassin's but the American Brotherhood's corruption is the reason he turned tail
@@franks2796 The Brotherhood knew he was right. The American Brotherhood was corrupt and deviated what they stood for. They didn't listen to him so its their loss
Think Ezio made me cry, he was my favourite and the only Assassin, at the time, we played through pretty much his whole life. From being born, all the way up to an old man. He was great. The ending of Black Flag did have me there with the song and seeing all the dead friends there....
I think Hytham and Connor duo is so underrated. Game ends for me as when Hytham died, giving it's antagonist final peace. Charles Lee was nothing like an antagonist. Hytham was a proper villain with class with goal and purpose in mind, only if he showed Connor what Shay Cormac saw, Connor would've joined him but still Hytham was way too evil with his ways and in later series I think series gets a little bit contradicting since if creed of assassin's was really trying to destroy humanity why would sacrifice of Desmond miles save the whole earh? I think it's just some assasin's like Shay's friend who were idiots who didn't know the systems whole power and without studying anything about these artifacts like Apple itself they indirectly caused accidents but that didn't mean whole creed was bad referring to the whole earthquake thing.
Edwards was the saddest in my opinion. He was my favorite assassin and after I learned how he went out, what his son turned into, and going through his house in AC unity I almost cried.🕊
Desmond's death is the worst, not because it's the saddest, but because it feels so rush and unceremonious despite the game trying its best to make it seem so impactful. He was the main protagonist of the series and it feels like his story was cut short. It's even more sad that they literally rip him apart like it's nothing.
I agree. Desmond was a good character. I think killing him(especially in that way) was a massive mistake. Even killing off Lucy was a bad idea. Her “betrayal” was out of left field because Ubisoft fired the voice actress. It’s all a mess man.
Altair's made me tear up. The way he feels around for the chair implied he was blind and the way he walked made it even clearer he was very old, but he wouldn't die without finishing his task of hiding the Apple, and at the end, when he sits down, it's as if he's embracing death as a well-deserved rest after so many years of duty
Actually Ezio died from poison, scarface over there was a Templar with a hidden blade. He spoke in code that he hates the women here, meaning his wife and children were to be left alone and unharmed. He was only there for him.
Honestly, the saddest end here is Altair's! Raised and Died an Assassin! Brought the needed evolution of the assassins and died alone by himself to protect a dangerous artifact while also becoming the blade that severed ezio's obsessed chase of the truth...the dude saved a beloved mc from a long and lonely life of an assassin! Altair indirectly prevented ezio from living out his end like altair
Some characters, it sucks losing them. Others were even controversial, like Ezio. Some believed he was poisoned, others believed it was old age, I thought stroke or heart attack. You forgot to mention Achilles, he dies of old age if you 100% Connor. Yes he was an Assassin, a corrupt Assassin actually who believed the ends justified the means. For those who don't know what I mean Achilles got Shay (who was an Assassin at the time) to cause a massive Earthquake and kill millions of innocent people along with both Assassins and Templars within.
@@Dooom616 yes he did. He read it in a Codex Text and when Shay confronted Achilles after the Earthquake he said he knew about it and that it was the best way to get rid of the Templars in the city, despite the 6 million collateral damage. How did this not get notifications for so long?
@@deviousballstickler821 Because it might have been in his family or something, Altair lives so long because heart attacks weren't so abundant in his family before and also, he was healthier than Ezio
I know he’s a bad guy but can we get some respect for haythem for taking a 8inch blade to the jugular and still being able to squeak out one last sentence
Im literally playing ac odyssey a few minutes to finish the whole storyline to get full understanding of the timeline and I gotta wait to get Valhalla since her story continues there and origins I already beaten it and also I gotta play the First blade DLC as well before I play kassandra vacation mission when thats when her story of immoral begins
Wow they really didn't hide the fact that they just switched hair models for alexios and Cassandra did they? Having said that Ezio's definitely put me to tears he lived a full life and in his letter even commented that he didn't truly understand what he had until it was already a little too late and to his life for him to savor it having said that he still savored what little he had left
For me Ezzio was the character that I was most connected, because I played him for few games. Sad was Adewale's death because we had to kill him and Edward's - he killed hundreds soldiers/templars/others and were killed in that "burglary" and because his son ended as a templar :(
Expanding Edward's family, his son was taken and trained as a templar who later became grand master (Haythan), Connor's dad, and the daughter was sold to (I think it was) the ottomans as a concubine/slave till years later when Haythan around the time head for America did she regain her freedom and aided the Assassin order behind the scenes.
I love Black Flag and how flawed Edward was. That scene when he sees all his dead friends with Parting Glass playing in the background is sad yet so beautiful. I didn't pay attention while playing it first. But the second time, it made me cry.
You know what now that I think about it, Kassandra was a pawn just like Layla, worse for Kassandra cause she was basically given immortality to carry the staff so she could pass it to Layla so she could hold it until it reached Basim, Kassandra watched her world collapse and learn everything she knew was a lie just so an Isu could meet up with his digitized wife in 2020
The crazy thing with Mirage is that the end of Valhalla in the real world might mean that the character who's in the Animus is the same as the Assassin, for the first time ever. So we are playing through our own memories.
Ezio was one of the few assassin's who died by natural cause granted he was about to be assassinated before the heart attack but at least the legendary assassin didn't get killed by a rookie timplar
Desmond’s death hurt me the most. I started this franchise with Desmond and was so captivated by his character, and for him to die on my number one fav AC game hits so hard. I remember almost crying when his death was confirmed 😭😂
It’s somewhat debatable if Desmond Miles is even currently dead within the franchise there is evidence with an assassin‘s creed Valhalla, that Desmond Miles, or at least a part of him survives just under a new name.
Ezio meeting altair is still one of the best scenes in all of assassins creed. And im still waiting for the day we get another one, not necessarily the same but is enough to leave an impact like how their meeting left us surprised
Every death is bittersweet somehow, as you dive with every character and play their stories… I’ve played all of them, met AC franchise through Altaïr and Ezio they’re my fav but Kassandra from AC Odyssey her live/death was the most sad, centuries leaving loves ones behind, force to hide in the shadows, meeting people again for what? to leave them behind because of her great burden… In the Arc of Isle of Skye, AC Valhalla you can see how much of a burden Kassandra is carrying… sh*t my eyes.
Altair, he did what he had to do. He did it well. And in the end he sat down on a chair in an empty room with nothing but the clothes on his back after years of service to his cause.
I hated seeing Kassandra die. It’s gut wrenching to realize that what Alethia told her was right: she would live long enough to see everyone she loved die in one way or another. Kassandra loved to be thousands of years old and eventually died after losing everyone else centuries ago.
@@xKrAzY8sx She shouldn’t have been canon anyways. Alexios was the far better choice. But can you explain to me how she broke the lore? I’m sorta new to AC.
@bluday1597 Tough kassandra is Canon and was always canon and originally was going to be an only character not alexios and kassandra is the better choice alexios just sounds awful
Nah, pretty sure alexios was the original protag of odyssey. He's the one in most of if not all promo material for the game and on the cover. Then a certain type of lawsuit came around that said ubisoft didn't treat women employees as they should and suddenly kassandra becomes the main protag... as far as im concerned they made her canon to make themselves look better.
@rerega3177 The developers confirmed kassandra was first and kassandra also appears on stuff she is on the physical copy of the game the cover is reversible and on the book
In one side I guess that hunted Shay was necesary in the other Shay should have been still hunting them. However, Shay wasn't evil and Connor was better dying old. Im wondering how Code Hexe may get involved in all of this and if the Ankh did resurrected that, well... Him. Which when keeping in mind the power of the Hermes' staff it now is not a nonsense.
@@Symbootspooder Well, it can't be the Roman Holy Empire since it's supposed to be set in the Century XVI where Spain was the giant Empire then. Not played it in many years now, but I swear I recall Bayek's fate was given to us at some point in the Ezio timeline. I remember one of the games (AC2?) had statues of notable assassins and some information about their life and death. Maybe Im mis-remembering the details though, maybe it didnt give that information on him, but I def recall those statues beneath a house/HQ in one of the Ezio games.
Also, I don’t know if anybody else noticed but bayeks apprentice is literally in the Maroge trailers, but she’s very old and that’s why I believe bayek Died of old age after training them for so long
When you realized... Kassandra probably slept with several men in her lifetime which is why some of the protagonists even have eagle vision. Living 2000+ years could get lonely for her... There's no evidence to suggest that she did... But considering how she has lots of chances she can romance other characters, it isn't out of the question. Edit: to add to this theory is Subject 16, or Clay Kaczmarek, one of Ezio's descendants. His ancestor is possibly the result of Ezio's womanizing, via an illegitimate child.
As someone who never played anything besides black flag it does make me sad that both Edward Kenway and Adewale were killed in the end. At least they got to live a longer time after black flag tho.
Personally speaking. I think Alexios delivery on his last words was better then Kassandra, Alexios sounds like his in pain of all the memories rushing in, but Kassandra sounds more like she's reading it to you if that makes sense
Ezio Death hit The most since he was my favourite assassin and the life he had wasn’t by his choice the life Chose him and until now I still miss him and Desmond
Altair and Desmond died with one thing on mind: Protect Humanity... They sacrifice their own humanity for the good of everyone and people will never know the heroic deeds they did. So happy that at least Ezio died with his family and still live a normal life.
