Lol, my first date was me sneaking into a girl's room while she hid me from her parents and we just chatted and listened to various CDs.

I had an awkward movie date as a kid. It was a girl that knew people I knew, sort of, but we had only met online, and she was really cute and a model. And I liked her but not really in that way, and it was clear, there was no intimacy, and it was an Austin Powers movie, and once the first couple of jokes were being told, I decided to just enjoy the movie. I had a good movie, but it would have been just as good without her. She looked really good, and I wanted to tell her that, but I didn't.

In my own experience, we (mostly I) dumbly decided to make it a double date because we both were so shy....NOOOOOOOO, I learned that your first date should NEVER be in/with a double date.
