What is the likelihood of a Canadian employer hiring a foreigner, before that person gets to Canada? It seems like a longshot, if one isn't interested in the AIPP...

no not really. please educate yourself and read the Canadian rules and law many people in the student pathway were sent home after 2 years because of the reason I type on my comment above

Well known way but doesn’t work, visa officers reject the application stating that you don’t intend to return to your home country.
