Kyle, your swing is so aesthetically pleasing however hard you hit the ball and while that might not be the only way to hit a ball, it is - more often than not - the hallmark of a really great golfer. Merry Xmas! All the best for 2024🤜🤛
The beastliness continues! I had a pretty good idea already but still fun to watch. Amazing to think what you've still got in the tank since you hit an 8-iron over 300 yds. in a sim for Bryson. Cheers.
Amazing distance and consistency. I would think that the LIV tour would have scooped you up by now. With the team format you would make an incredible contribution and would attract many viewers. You are one of the most gifted hitters in the world.
Awesome man! I might look into strengthening your 48 degree to 47 degree and your 44 degree to 43 degree I would say a bit less spin and better yardage gapping. Good luck with the game next year man!
Have you ever watched that video of Jamie Sadlowski doing a demo after some Pro-Am he played in? He does some wacky trick shots and other similar stuff.
I wish this kind of videos was around in my hay days! I am shocked to see how and why spin rate has a lot to do with not only distance but most importantly accuracy!
Kyle, how about taking it to the course in 40 degree weather with a 15 mph North Wind, headwind? Tell us your club distances for these conditions too so we can compare to what we experience out there playing golf. Thanks. These are the conditions I faced on the course Wed February 28th. No launch monitor though please. Just a range finder or tape measurer to get the distance of the balls into elevated greens with false fronts. I think you will be shocked to discover your distances playing outdoor golf.
Seems like you could do with even more wedges. Perhaps the whole lot: 64, 60, 56, 52, 48, 44 just to give you more distance control on approaches. With your driver length, your average approach is probably well under 150 yards. It’s almost like you don’t need any other woods apart from the driver. Maybe a few a long irons for par fives and safety drives. And the rest are wedges.
Dude you need wedges with 500gm head weight and 150gm shafts lol. What ball do you game on course? Curious if you have ever played a much softer ball like the titleist avx or Bridgestone brxs, totally counter intuitive for you to be hitting a marshmallow, but with seemingly endless ample speed maybe the lower spin could soften up the flight and give a bit of control? Idk, everything you hit has freaking unicorn swing/ball numbers, just so fun and impressive to watch 👍
Kyle you are an absolute beast! My standard pw goes 140 (46’ titleist 620mb bent down 1’ as all my irons from 4-pw as I hit the ball too high) and you hit 2’ more 18 yards longer on the softest swing I’ve ever seen you hit 🤣 how? Just how?
I love how you swing your 44 degree pitching wedge at my driver speed and your 6i club head speed is the same as the Tour average for driver. You are a freak. 😂
Kyle you need to but your launch degree on the screen too. Without knowing the launch I can tell you right now you are launching your wedges way to high. Sub 30 degree launch would help you greatly with your wedges. Cheers on the championship and continued success and health!
I feel like Kyle doesn’t really need any iron above a 7 (maybe a driving iron for second shots on par 5s or to hit off the tee) and just have like 6 wedges instead. What’s the point of a 240 yard 6 iron
@@michaellancaster7092 His 60* had a 6 yard difference between all the shots. Any regular single digit handicap can best that. Thought at his level he'd be a little more consistent.
He specifically says that those are FULL SWINGS which put much more height/spin in shots. He also says that he rarely does full swings while playing anything less than a 7 iron. When he plays he hits 1/2 and 3/4 swings to control the height and spin and that this video was to show stock full swings.
It’s amazing to see the difference between Bryson and Kyle on speed* … his 8 iron was closer to brysons 6 iron ball speeds … and his driver was already at brysons peak or higher right now just cruising … but of course Bryson just hits everything dead straight most of the time
I mean no disrespect by what I’m asking but how long can you sustain a career in long driving? The amount of torque you put on your body has to be insane?
Not much to say except … I’m jealous. 😂 Then again I’m 55. Absolutely crazy! I’m speed training this winter and have seen some nice results so far … might give him a good run soon. 😂😂😂
What are the lofts on the irons? I’m having issues with spin on my irons as I increase in speed. My 8 iron average is now 108mph swing speed but my ball speed is low and spin is super high
I see why you play so many 3/4 shots on those mid and short irons. I don’t know how anyone could have consistent distance control hitting a ball 175+ feet in the air.
Kyle, I love your videos, a lot of fun for me!! Just one wish please: Please be more conservative with your background music. At some moments in this video it is even hard for me to hear your voice "through it".
How does this power and distance translate to the golf course? Does this equal super low scores? Interested to understand what you would shoot on average for 18 holes?
Just something I noticed about your right foot. You roll weight to the outside. I was taught to dig the big toe into the ground to keep torque in the leg and deliver more consistent weight transfer. I can see an advantage where rolling helps get more twist in the hips but wouldn't just pointing that foot out a little more in angle help? BTW, I think it was John Daly that gave that advice about the right foot big toe but who knows, it's seemed to help me become more consistent. Obviously you're going for max distance with the driver but a few degrees off and you're screwed on a real course lol. Big hitters are unforgiven with the OB. I can't be off by even a little at most of the courses I play so it's rare that the big stick comes out. I drive 3 wood 280 all day with shaping so that's my go-to. Love the videos and your approach to hitting.
Kyle, would your golf game be even better if you weren’t trying to hit the ball so hard ? You’ve got game, it would just be interesting to see your results if you finessed it around the course . For example, Micah looks like he’s hitting the ball effortlessly , yet the ball gets out there! 👍 Great vid ! 👍🙏
Ummmm, why are you not on tour. If you want to make it. I was the greatest caddie in the world and could be again for a price$$ You want majors then you need me holding the bag. Get back at me.
