To put this simply, the reason the cape was disabled is because super monkeys were disabled. This is mainly to stop primary only cheese, but it also means that you can't use them in the challenge editor.
not that it mattered, but you probably lost a chunk of money by spamming the 000 darts at the beginning instead of putting them down one at a time and upgrading them to tier 3-4 one at a time, because of the all together everybody MK that makes primary tower upgrades cheaper when all primary towers are t3 or 4. This also applies to the cost of the t5, though obviously once you buy a t5 you can't benefit anymore because not all primary towers are t3-4 anymore, but it still means you get a good discount on whatever t5 you go for first, as well as opening the possibility of saving cash on the t4 upgrades if you do the order right
And also wasting all your money on 000 darts then almost dying to the first lead was silly. Selling and rebuying wastes even more. Not even gonna talk about buying 14 SM fan clubs instead of saving or something.
I'm too lazy to test this right now, but I think that the cape didn't work because you have super monkeys disabled on the challenge, and it doesn't want you to cheese your way into getting super monkeys if the challenge doesn't want it.
I really like this video idea, this was extremely entertaining to watch! I hope you decide to try this with all monkeys (maybe you’ll have to use Etienne for monkeys that can’t see camo)
it's so interesting how someone can have so many hours and miss basic stuff like spots on balance or the worn cape limitation (it becomes very evident when doing oddesseys lol) interesting stuff
Idk if this is it, but I think you can't use the hero's cape because the super monkey is banned, and you techically need the base tower to even buy its upgrades
could you have continued going if you sold the plasma fan club again? it was doing basically nothing while on cooldown, and selling it would have given your paragon +10% attack speed which might have been enough you could maybe have squeezed out some extra rounds if you had the PMFC ready to go, and when you encountered the "this is the last round" round, activated the ability and sold it, so you had the darts under its effect alongside the 10% bonus?
you cant use the hero's cape because you dont have supermonkey as a playable tower, since supermonkey isn't available, the cape supermonkey isn't either. To avoid this you can just not ban supermonkey, then u can use cape.
I'm glad you chose to do this on Balance. Every challenge being on Resort, Cubism and Logs definitely gets monotonous. Also I feel like for consistnecy, the other towers you do this with should also be locked to Geraldo, even if there's a better hero (like Adora for super monkies)
@@srensen3081 You just have to be able to place them before you lose, even if you leak a few rounds. I do that a lot in my personal runs; doing the first couple rounds with no towers to save up for the thing I want to place fiirst
Would be interesting to see a video on how far you could go in 4p co-op, with 4x the tier 5s it'd surely be a lot further/more efficient than in solo. Although the co-op lag would make it mega unplayable. Also I bet boat makes it the furthest, since it can actually econ for higher tiers plus the Navarch's hook lets it insta-kill BADS
Co-op would go less far than standard singleplayer easy freeplay simply because the only reason he lost was lag and co-op isn't exactly going to help that. It may help out in chimps tho.
Bottom crosspath for juggernaut increases projectile lifespan resulting in more bounces which could make this crosspath superior for maps like balance. But further investigation is needed so people please leave a comment if you know if thats true🙏🏻
when you use the cape it turns a dart into a super so if you have supers banned then the cape is also banned, in addition if you have 2 supers enabled and 3 darts I am fairly certain if you can only transform 2 darts into supers and then you could place 3 darts as well
The geraldo cape are able just when the super is able too, so you can't kinda of get you or a challenge, like playing the primary only and someway get the super that is a magic tower
you can get action figure round 4 if you don't start with geraldo! you can place geraldo and get the figure in the same round and it's cheaper then if you place him earlier which makes the price go up
Mackan are you gonna allow villages or farms in one of these, i think it would be interesting to see how some of them deal with lead or camo. Also when you do the village you should give yourself enough money to buy a primary expertise instantly
I don't think i will allow using a village or a farm in addition to whatever tower im testing. But yeah i probably will include the village and farm as episodes at the end of the series :)
A little sad here... you said Dart only, but wanted to turn the Darts into Supers... :/ Also, Geraldo deals a lot of damage with those rabbits. Try to use Benjamin instead.
you need super monkeys enabled to make it so geradro's shop sells the capes, because *yes*, they are treated no more as dart monkeys, they became actual super monkeys
