if you want an idea how strong Dragon Ball characters are, Masashi Kishimoto, creator of Naruto, said the strongest person in that universe, would be maybe close to as strong as Nappa in the Saiyan Saga. Nappa turns a city into a glass floor with the flick of his finger out of boredom and rips through battleship hulls like paper. And he immediately gets outclassed once Goku showed up.
@@wititorac i seen someone else repeat that before a couple of years ago but no clue if it is true or false. im leaning to false because it would be bad for your anime if you say your end series characters are weaker than beginning series characters from a rival anime

@@rifter4478you didnt watch the "Krilin attacks Goku with a small rock" scene? In dragon ball, characters reduce their power so they dont do the bed thing that you said (imagine Goku/vegeta kissing their wives, their lips would literally explore if they were full power), also vegeta scout said that he was going to destroy earth in sayan saga, thats like 25k power, now they are in trillions or billions i Guess... It is also said in the tournament of Goku VS Piccolo jr that people could not see the fight because they were too fast for normal human eyes, they were like... 50-60 power? In a few scenes characters say that they go around the world in less than 10 minutes (without being in "combate/full power mode") So, "realistically" speaking (they are animes, if the writer decides that X thing happens and Y character wins..), Goku senses the ki (DB characters also are able to sense energy from the entire universe if they Focus or if the enemy is strong enough [not the case] [VS kid buu they could do that]), literally does like 500km in 1 second already preparing the attack OR he teleports, and GG, gojo doesnt have time to react to an almost light speed attack without warning. Now, if you say something like "but i clearly see the fight, and i have normal human eyes" yeah, and nanek should have exploded in 5 mins, the time in chapters was...idk... from 1h to 3h with time skips of the fight
I can imagine this situation, hilarious * Vegeta uses Vegeta's Technique™ and all the ki blasts freeze mid air * "Haha funny shit magic man! GALICK GUN"
I think the reason people think dragonball isn't that insane is cause the anime and manga never fully showcase the feats we see. They move fast and hit hard but its shown in a pretty reserved way alot of the time so people tend to forget how strong the people fighting actually are.
its made to look relative because that's the battle speed, as shown in the cell saga when in the POV of humans they cannot see Perfect Cell or Goku until they come in contact close to the floor of the arena, and that's more a shock wave rather than seeing them. (anime at least)
@@Prismitten. yup, I loved how much perspective it gives to their powers relative to a normal human being, by that moment Toriyama had all but completely stopped the fights near normal people, that's why Krillin looks so pathetic all the time

Greetings my friends from beyond and within the grave. In the short time in which we inhabit this world, It would be my honor to offer you a new life with Christ. Let today be the day you begin💜
I think the biggest problem with bringing characters to the DB universe is how no one has noticed how Ki, if it is strong enough, becomes paracausal and just nullifies other techniques like Candy Vegetto vs. Buu, Goku vs. Hit's time stop, and even Cell tanking Krillin's Kienzan. Just increasing the Ki can destroy dimensional barriers or reality itself. Clearly paracausal enough to counter almost any technique of weaker enemies.
Basically if your Ki gap in dragonball is big enough you can start to ignore stuff with barely any exeption like moro's magic or the mafuba. also gojo is a mafuba victim. so that makes him a master mutaito victim too.
Yeah few people seem to understand the concept that in dragon ball a power gap often gives immunity to various supernatural phenomena as just like a blank trait of strength/energy.

@@RandomGuy-qc8ml I would say that is MAJOR low balling.... As pointed out in this video, NAMEK FRIEZA had power levels in the 100's of millions. Bro the way a smile carved itself onto my face when he said “Gojo has to perceive attacks for infinity to work” was amazing, I instantly thought speed blitz
That's simply not true, gojo has a subconcious filter to tell what attacks are actually harmful but if he wants too he can keep infinity active against everything.
That's just wrong though. Infinity automatically stops anything that can be a threat, Gojo has to consciously let something pass. And he can keep it active 24/7 so speed is absolutely irrelevant and useless against it
Fr, is the same thing as saying "yugi from yu-gi-oh is god level because he can summon gods" creating something and destroying it require completly different powers.
12:07 when it comes to Gojo's use of infinity and him having to calculate things as a threat. It would be the opposite of how it was explained. Gojo says that his infinity can be constantly active but instead of him having to use his brain to calculate what's a threat in order to stop it he's actually calculating what isn't a threat in order to let it pass through. Hence the eraser and pencil example he had to make it so the eraser can pass through but the pencil could not by calculating the eraser as a non threat. Meaning in a 1 on 1 fight he doesn't need this strat he can just have it constantly active

Also, again since you people can’t fucking read, Infinity is INFINITE 4D. So EVEN IF Goku had 4D AP, you can’t overcome Infinite with Finite. Learn how to read.
the infinity dependent on reaction speed argument presented here is probably the best one ive heard, but i still think its a super big downplay. i always interpreted the hidden inventory arc thing by saying that "infinity: the technique" is the thing that needs to determine what is or isn't a threat, and therefore block that object that infinity perceives, not gojo. this, on top of the fact that gojo, without DOUBT has the technique going at 24/7 should imply such an interpretation of the technique being passive. shouko said he'd get tired doing it 24/7. gojo said he'd constantly rct his brain. what was the point of this conversation if not to convey the fact that gojo would be having his infinity technique active 24/7? the reaction speed argument at all just doesn't work with this line of logic. infinity is passive, and at any moment it decides what gets through and what doesn't automatically like a threat perception. gojo can turn it on and off at will, say to let his friends/ teachers/ students/ enemies get through to him for whatever reason, but the threat perception is automatic and passive, hence constantly active, hence non-speed-blitzable. all in all, i just wanted to say, even a low-balled gojo should a bit more confidently have a higher interpretation, and downplaying infinity down to needing reaction time is selectively ignoring the conversation in hidden inventory.
Yeah exactly, Gojo is only tired by infinity before he has his enlightenment, then he basically triggers one of those bullshit infinity feedback loops that the devs forgot to nerf and he can keep going forever without conscious effort.
A had this thought even before this video that infinity is not passive but completely depend on six eyes perception and its six eyes that grant the ability to sense and detect threat cause of enhance sense and brain power. Infinity is all around gojo, six eyes have 360 radar vision. Infinty select objects on mass, speed and ce, six eyes can detect every aspect of these properties at atomic level. It can also be major reason why no gojo clan user has infinity since only six eye have such perception to make it worthwhile 24×7 and since his brain power is enhanced at atomic level he can train his subconscious mind to say what is a threat based on six eyes input that it can remain on through his sleep and why no one can blitz infinity is because it is six eyes enhace perception which can track down from kilometers but since every eye have a certain speed we can't perceive then six eyes would be same just alot powerful and blitzing more than anything sukuna(top) could pull of cause their base stats are relative and six eyes go beyond his base stats but buff in perception
No it was six eyes which tied him out cause to make infinity run 24×7 even for 2 days it need six eyes full perception info input of surrounding to his brain which tied out after 2days of constant work done selecting what is a threat or not based on massive info dump from his six eye to reinforce his infinity to that degree when to keep it chill. Also his brain power was also enhanced that was the reason he tried out so much after constant use of six eyes at their fullest. And kid gojo won't have to keep up infinity i.e why he was not wearing glassed at young age cause his brain was just collecting info dump not using then or retaining those info of surrounding.
I think I'm already tired of them putting Gojo in the Dragonball universe as if he were really going to do something with one of the characters. At this point, everyone can destroy planets, you can't touch Gojo but you can destroy the planet he's standing on, and no matter how strong he is, he. can't. breathe. in. space.
I actually like how varied the intepretations for JJK can be; specifically taking the lower end. It allows for vs matchups with characters from verses that are more technical and down to earth in power like Hunter x Hunter. I feel like these kinds of verses are super under represented in vs matchups because they just get stomped by some random continent/planet buster that's trash in their own verse.
Well when you have characters that are strong enough to move through the stoppage of time out of sheer willpower/strength gojo doesn’t fare too well against said characters, who could most likely just raw dog their way through infinity just cuz they increased their power to beyond their limits.😂
@@Swagtrap_CZ Doesn't _matter_ All physical matter will get slowed down to a standstill no matter how fast it moves Objects don't turn into electromagnetic radiation just by moving at lightspeed yk? You do gotta realize just how strong dragonball characters are, COMPARED to other anime characters. We all know Yamcha is the weakest Z fighter, but he’s actually strong enough to one shot humans with a punch prolly. Most anime characters can’t do that without a certain technique or weapon.
So are all new anime and Manga series just trying to get as strong as the older ones ? It's like you're in a ranked tournament. Instead of gold and diamond, you have Naruto, bleach, dragon ball. So what would be in the highest tier?
Demon King Piccolo seems like a stretch, considering he can turn island sized cities to barren wastelands in seconds. Once you start getting to the more inhuman/alien threats, i feel like thats where Gojo probably gonna struggle.
Power levels in db make absolutely no sense. About a Power level of 200 is enough to destroy a moon but, when goku fought beerus threatening to destroy the entire universe 13 macrocosm his power level (in super sayin god super sayin) was somewhere around 85 trillion. That would be enough to destroy around 500 billion moons. Now keep in mind just our galaxy alone has potentially trillions of PLANETS. 85 trillion power level is likely nowhere near enough to VAPORIZE a single galaxy let alone shake the entire universe. Tldr: I don't think you can scale any db character to any power level accurately the only thing you can do is use their actual face to face feets.
Power levels stopped being actively used in the series after The Freiza Saga bringing them up for any arc after that is useless since they don't pop up in the manga after that, only the DBZ movies use them but they aren't canon. So power levels don't have to make sense since they aren't used anymore.
Powerlevels are NOT linear, as early as the OG dragonball, minuscle differences in power were enough to jump from fodder to obliterating cities and moons..
@@yannicreicher6811 18000 is multi-planetary, the scaling of planetary in dragonball is based on planets like planet vegeta, earth is a quite small planet in the dbz verse.. plus, the power required to destroy a planet of the size of Planet vegeta is merely 9000
Scaling in JJK is inherently broken regardless of how you approach these match ups. Anyone with enough energy to generate space or slow things infinitely without even feeling strain from it should have enough energy to blast whole universes apart casually.
It's honestly insane how well done the first sections are and then how lazy and outright disingenuous the latter parts are. Like are we serious? You go through great lengths to explain the depth of Gojo's defense and then give like 3 sentences saying a (seemingly fodder) character would touch him (which is not possible with physical contact or through energy attacks) and he dies instantly. I get that Gojo isn't that strong in a DBZ universe because (forgive me Toriyama) DBZ's scaling has always been ridiculous (Roshi destroying the moon, etc.) but at least give Gojo the credit he deserves and have him lose vs someone who actually has the capabilities of defeating him. The fact that Gojo has RCT meaning he would need to be destroyed in an instant as well. Which is already proven to be a difficult thing with infinity. Aside from Infinity and blue you don't mention Gojo's cursed techniques or how Cursed Energy can be manipulated, The fact that Gojo is a brilliant strategist with a very high battle IQ, his Six eyes, or any cursed tools Gojo can equip himself with. I can give you a rundown of how Raditz would lose (despite being physically stronger.) Gojo uses the fact that Raditz doesn't know of his abilities to bait an attack > Raditz instantly would be caught within limitless, giving Gojo ample opportunity to counterattack > Gojo uses his cursed technique to (near instantly) destroy Raditz's arms and legs (similar to Juzo Kumiya) > Gojo finishes him off with any number of attacks. All this video chalked up to was a bunch of glazing of DBZ scaling, like every other power scaling youtuber... and you had like 1-5 lines about anything other than DBZ (or JJK).
Infinity is not based on reaction speed at all, otherwise Kenjaku’s plan would have been to just take a gun and shoot Gojo in the face while he’s asleep lol. Gojo infinity has stopped objects that he had no way of reacting to, like attacks from his blindspots. Infinity can not be speed blitzed….

@user-eo5mr2mj1c thats just wishful thinking but can't be proven unless infinity gets bypassed in the series by a level of speed that characters from dB are faster than which never happened
@@esdrascristobal That goes against the very natue of infinity. If Gojo brain has to perceive you to categorize you as a threat 12:30 then what was the point of him creating a condition based on mass, speed, and curse energy? Why would he create a way to make it passive, via always having infinity on by refreshing his brain, if the discernment of the object coming towards him still required visual input from Gojo. What about attacks from behind? If your proposal for the skeptics were true, Gojo wouldn't be seen as impossible to take down because you could just find him when he's taking a nap and stab him in his back. And you know this Seth, I watched your Gojo vs Kakashi video, great vid btw. But you gotta let these F.A.Ns know what it is. Nice video.I especially found the idea of Android 16 beating Gojo pretty funny😅.But I wanted to point out on the infinity bit that the detection is automatic.Gojo said that what he used to do manually happens automatically.Without his input/reaction is how I'd interpret that.
By automatically it really means subconsciously, i.e. without conscious activation by Gogo. This would mean it's activation from an inactive state is still limited to the speed of neurological signaling from his sensory receptors to his brain and then from the parts of the brain that interpret sensory input to the parts that subconsciously/reflexively control his power. Android 16, and most other DBZ characters, are massively FTL and could close the distance to Gogo thousands or millions or billions of times faster than it would take the light of they're movement to reach him, let alone for him to even begin to engage the biological processes involved in activating his power. Ultimately the only way for gojo to survive is to keep Infinity constantly active at all time times, even when he's asleep. He could never let it deactivate.
@@TheRealRightPrice Yeah,I see your reasoning.A subconscious activation could be what Gojo meant.I was of the idea that the cursed technique itself was sentient to some degree and targeted threats on its own.Kind of like how Boogie Woogie registered the vibraslap as Todo's left hand and functioned but when it was destroyed ,it refused to activate.
@@michmuch760 I'm afraid I don't know enough about it to offer an opinion about whether cursed techniques have some level of sentence. I always figured Gojo specifically just used Infinity so much that it became a subconscious thing, like how a lot of anime/comic fighters train so much that their moves become instinctual reactions. To be fair, while the kind of speed DBZ characters have should make this a viable strategy I've only ever seen this kind of thing actually done by super fast characters a couple of times. Like in Red Sun Superman where Superman got ambushed by a bunch of Green Lanterns. Supes flew around and disarmed them, literally pulling the rings off of their fingers, and then explained (I'm paraphrasing) that weapons controlled at the speed of thought are worthless against an opponent who can move so much faster then a human brain can think. He could and did literally fly around and disarm them faster than their nervous system could transmit a signal to attack from their brains to their rings. Anyway, Android 16 is really the only character would could handle Gojo in this way because of his unique characteristics as a full machine. No other DBZ character has the combination of infinite energy, infinite stamina, infinite focus/attention span, no need to sleep, sensors that can continuously track gojo anywhere on the planet and monitor/measure his energy output, the speed to reach him instantly anywhere on the planet, and immunity to the effects of Gojo's domain whether by not having an organic brain, not having a soul and therefore no cursed energy, being immune to insanity or brain damage from information overload, or even if it does work and 16 is bombarded/filled with an unlimited stream of information he can simply delete it all from his memory. 16 was a powerful by DBZ standards for like 5 mins before being left in the dust but still no other character has this unique communication of traits and abilities that would make him the perfect inescapable nightmare for Gojo.
@@michmuch760 yeah, the benefits of being a robot with editable memory. Gojo might not measure up in terms of stats or power but Infinity and Unlimited Void would really let him punch above his weight class in DBZ and many other anime settings. Really aside from 16 the only threats to Gojo would be characters capable of instant transmission (Goku, Vegeta, and Cell), Haki (Berus), and maybe time manipulation (Whis) or magic (Buu) who could get through Infinity and take Gojo out. Of those only Buu could probably take the full effect of Unlimited Void without issue like 16, and that's due both to him not having a brain of any kind and his nature as a weird magic bubble gum construct with an unlimited capacity for absorption and a very simple mind; he'd probably just laugh in Gojo's domain and not understand that it was supposed to hurt him. Goku and Weis might be able to keep fighting after getting their minds scrambled due to ultra instinct working without conscious control but the best outcome for that would still be a lose-lose for both sides because their minds would still be fucked. Any of them can break through dimensional barriers and all except Buu are powerful enough to outright destroy a universe so they could probably break out of the Gojo's Domain if they act quickly enough.
IIRC Infinity was something that originally required conscious activation, but after Gojo unlocked Hollow Purple it became an passive effect that he has to consciously turn off.
Anyone in dragonball that can't get pass infinity and has a brain gets negged, only names pose a threat are those who have no issue destroying the planet or something
@Jsipki265 that's only if you think gojo dumb enough to pop his domain on something that doesn't have a functioning brain such as 16 so you'd literally have to argue gojo so dumb he'd never figure out 16 is all mechanical
Bro I’m sure he’s a threat to the univers (aside from gods and gero’s scientific monstrosities there were like 3 other characters that could challenge him in universe 7 two of whom were sealed/imprisoned) but ain’t no way is bro blowing up the whole universe
Meh, he dies to master roshi. Infinity won't stop a ki blast as it's not a material object, so the kamehameha (which by the way, is positive energy which by JJK lore cancels cursed energy) will go right through and vaporize him.
@@dentkort Infinity stops anything deemed as a threat, not just material objects. It can stop pure CE so why wouldn't it stop pure Ki if said Ki is dangerous? The positive energy point is also moot, positive energy doesn't cancel cursed energy, if that were the case then Gojo could just use Red through any technique and immediately dispel it because it uses Reverse Cursed Energy. Positive energy is especially strong against cursed spirits, that's all.
@@mist0804 When did it stop pure cursed energy? Honest question. But besides that, the selection process for what to stop and what not to stop in Infinity is subconscious. Already by the saiyan saga they're already moving at least dozens of times the speed of light, and ki waves are even faster. I don't know how fast subconscious thoughts are, but I'm betting they're much slower than the speed of light. Positive energy is mutually annihilating with cursed energy, that's the whole reasoning behind hollow purple. Red doesn't do this because it has a strong repulsive effect that prevents things from actually touching the energy itself. A single ki blast from late Dragon Ball characters would, assuming ki is positive energy, be too much for Infinity to stop, be it because of its speed, or because the sheer amount of positive energy that is being cancelled out by the cursed energy would eat through Gojo's entire CE reserves and still have enough power to kill him a hundred times over. I hope we can keep this civil. There are some people getting extremely angry in these comments and for no reason.
@@dentkort I can't remember a specific time off the top of my head where it stopped just pure cursed energy, but it should definetely be able to also stop cursed energy because if it couldn't all it would take is any CE projectile to bypass it and that just doesn't make sense for a technique that's so hyped up in-verse. The selection process is subconscious, yes, but it doesn't constantly have to select what it lets through and what it doesn't, it just sets parameters (like a specific speed, shape and CE amount) and then stops whatever meets those parameters. Also, if we are using verse equalization, then Ki would be cursed energy since that's the basic power system. If we aren't, then you can't just assume Ki would work like what is called positive energy in JJK.
Comparing universes, you have to boil down a lot, which undermines both sides' arguments. Secondly, infinity wasn't a passive. However, gojo with combination with his other abilities, such as red, and six eyes, trained it to be passive. 3rd, toriama (RIP) openly did away with power levels. 4th we have to question are ki blasts physical mass to be affected by infinity. 5th would six eyes even pick up on ki, and vice versa. Are we boiling down ki and cursed energy to the same thing? 6th gojo could unleash infinite void on the android to mess with their computing and possessing, but could the androids absorb cursed energy as the do ki? There are too many variables to truly compare here.
Realistically he would get all they way to super because goku wouldn’t bother with removing him as he isn’t evil and isn’t even a real threat to anyone
Android 16 wouldn't body Gojo, he's not even 13.5% Goku like Cell was. 😂 I mean, if he beats him up for having the first syllable of his name, then that would be funny.
