How Fast Can I Fill EVERY Gear Slot in EVERY Diablo?

I challenged myself to fill every gear slot as fast as possible, in every Diablo game! This was a fun challenge and a really fun video to make. I hope you enjoy the video!
The challenge starts with the original Diablo, then Diablo 2 (resurrected), Diablo 3, Diablo Immortal and finally Diablo 4.

The inspiration for this video came from the channel ⁠‪@j0rts‬ and his series of speedrunning videos like How fast can you touch grass in every Mario game? and How fast can you get a life in every Zelda game? etc.
I found these videos to be very fun, so I immediately started thinking: What would something like this look like in the Diablo universe, and can I somehow make it about loot (because, you know... I'm a loot goblin after all)
And this video is the result

Uniques in D1 were definitely the hardest to get good ones of. I remember getting a Hellslayer and really loving that. Good damage and looked cool. In D1 of course magical items were usually best in slot besides things like Veil of Steel.

I played a lot with D1 and yes, uniques were qute hard to get because of no magic find. Through the years i've only found 1 Demonspike coat and it wasn't even a drop, it was just on the ground next to an armor rack in lvl 14. Altough, finding Demonspike coat (or Grandfather) in Hellfire was almost like impossible.

I can't help but think D3 would be only 5 minutes if started in adventure mode instead of story mode... I may be wrong, it's just a gut feeling.

I think it would be faster too, and I decided to not use it since there isn’t a story mode in the earlier games to keep it “fair”. I haven’t played in a while but going into another act or making a couple bounty caches seems like it would be very effective.

It really was! 😬 I’m sure the time could be improved a lot though. I didn’t expect to have to level up so much so I didn’t really have a strategy since I’ve played the game very little.

I haven’t played d1 much, how rare would you say rings are? I’m not sure I will re-do this challenge but it was a lot of fun.

@zarfen really depends on the playthrough. Sometimes you'll find them somewhat quickly. I didn't mean it like I didn't enjoy your video because I definitely did. I just pictured in my mind you starting out on diablo 1, getting some gear pretty quickly and then suddenly you're in hell fighting Diablo still looking for a second ring. 🤣 woulda been kinda funny because I definitely feel like I've had some playthroughs that felt like that.

I have not paid D4 any time or thought. Seeing that the game only has 5 armor slots is a downer. Farming gear is the main thing about these games and having many gear slots is fun plus it opens up more build diversity.
