Using Eliwood always feels funny, because on average he turns into a very fine unit with good combat (shaky defenses though iirc). He just starts out as Eliwood.
Eliwood has possibly the best promotion in gba fire emblem if you look strictly at promotion gains. Getting both a horse and 1-2 range is nuts and every night I dream of what could have been if only his promotion wasnt storylocked(Probably still meh but way better)
2:32:16 Funnily enough, we do know exactly what the stealable item priority is lol. It's just a table in the game rom accessible via FEBuilder. It goes like this, in order of descending priority: Member & Silver Cards Iron Rune, Delphi Shield, Lockpick, Afa's Drops, Earth Seal, other Promo Items, (funnily enough Heaven Seal is below most except for Fell Contract), White Gem, Dancer Rings, Stat Boosters, other Gems, and all the other consumables afterwards. Light Rune is the one at the very bottom.
Eliwood always cracks me up cause I *know* he's aggressively average as a unit but he always caps strength for me. Str/Sk/Sp cap + horse is always #GoodEnough
honestly same. i always somehow get an incredibly blessed eliwood every time i play this game. on the other hand, i always get a screwed rutger when i play fe6 so perhaps that's where the tradeoff is 😂
You either get a terrible eliwood, or you get a great one. I guess i'll have to watch the video, like, subscribe, and hit the bell for notifications to find out!
I was very very lucky using my Eliwood the first time i played HHM, he and Hector we just straight up GODS among men. I was never that lucky ever playing the game when i was younger (back on my original GBA)
I did suggest it, but there was some random problem that kept us from doing it. Mekkah and I have a limited schedule and we were ready to game on that day so we just went for it
Eliwood story means Eliwood seizes, but it also means Eliwood doesn't promote until after CoD. So he can carry harder on Hector Mode, which is more fun. However if we end up rolling Hector we could play Eliwood Mode!
@@OriginalRaisins The japanese spelling is ガイツ, Ga-i-tsu. Basically the "ei" is pronounced like in "height." Sorry I'm only making a fuss because I've been posting that on the intended ranks run too haha, and Dondon has given me an appreciation for pronunciation
