I think the air gust in shroom ridge is coded to only boost you enough if you are mushroom boosting or in a star. It doesn’t matter how fast you are, unless obviously you just jump it even without the air gust.
Ninja Hideaway definitely isn't made for speeds above 150cc Also it's a good idea to have auto accelerate on for the higher speeds which will leave your thumb available to press the brake button when needed
@@Trelior Considering the high speed, you're going to be rocking your thumb onto that brake button a lot and with how fast your going to end up doing it on those turns, you're still going to run the risk of removing your thumb from the accelerate button
Hey Falc - there's a shortcut in Ninja Hideaway if you take the low route near the start. Off to the left in the shuriken-floor room, there's a tunnel blocked by Piranha Plant cutouts. Good place to use the mushrooms you might get.
You can also take it with a green shell, red shell, blue shell (also if a blue is targeting you you can use the explosion to blow it up), Plant, Boomerang, Fire and horn. And of course power items like bullet/golden/star. You can also take it with a bomb but I don’t think it detonates on contact so not worth it unless you snipe it from far. I would have to test using a rotating blooper from a crazy 8 also because that would be cool (they ink players you melee and can block red shells). The last ways to take it are to follow someone else and to damage boost. Following is risky since they might not take it but useful in a 6v6 and damage boosting is only useful if you’re getting blue shelled or a teammate has shock.
I believe the 300cc mod doesn’t work online - since modded switches do not have online capacity. So it would have to be an irl thing with everyone in once place
@@brondo93 if you play with an emulator it's possible to play on LAN mode via a gaming VPN. I played modded emulated MK8D this way several times with my friends.
And yet you're better at 300cc than I am at 100cc because I remember seeing a lot of the guy with the u turn sign when I played in middle school (in my defense, I only played at my friend's house...also I'm just bad at it lol)
Giving up first after a blue shell is thrown doesn’t work as it doesn’t constantly check it checks once and that’s when it’s thrown so whoever was in first at the time it was thrown is who gets hit
