I have a similar set up but with a smaller hub using astandard gravel bike fork - I see you're using a downhill fork which may be the reason its spinning. Your weight is distributed in the back because of the high position your fork forces you in. My Gravel bike fork forces me to be on top of the handlebars, putting weight down the front so mine doesn't spin as much.

My AWD ebike build I have slowed the ramp up speed on the front motor to keep it from spinning out, resulting in faster acceleration.

If you are driving dual motor with one motor, performance of one motor is 20-30% decreased because dragging another motor + weight, that is why you get poor 22 seconds 16mph uphill with one motor...

i was really tempted getting into this hobby. just my views , i get it some just want to use it for off road only purposes , and as such the laws mean little as far as power and regulations, but wow after doing some research, its clear that in my state, and many others, there are too many grey areas, and too many examples of good people getting harassed because they road on a street or sidewalk. i was just about to buy a dual motor, 2000w 48v fat tire bike. then i decided to look up my state and county laws. trying to foresee a law enforcement officer with me on the side of the road, hoping i have a camera, and wanting to be certain that to the law as its written , i am in compliance before spending 2 thousand bucks. i understand there are class 1 , 2 ,and 3 regulations. for my state, they seem to be governed by speed, so no big deal at 1st , then i read that the motor wattage rating cannot exceed 700watts. ok thats a deal breaker. i dont understand, why both a wattage rating on the motor, or motors, is necessary , when they already have speed regulations in play. i mean if the ecu ( motor control unit ) is limiting wattage in one of the 3 driving modes / classes, then why should the motor wattage rating matter? if the ecu is limiting power so i can comply with laws when im on a road, that should be sufficient. instead i see myself being pulled over, camera on, evidence to show im in class 2 operation, evidence to show i did not exceed a speed that corresponds to that class, and ohh wait, the officer notices the stampings on the motor and the badging and decals on the bike. motor says 1000 watts, bike says its 2000 watts ,, and the officer doesnt have enough brain power to listen to you explain that your in a mode that limits power despite having evidence on video to prove it. i mean you should be able to have 10,000 watt motors lol, as long as the ecu is restricting the wattage to within legal limits. the motor wattage should not matter. its as if they designed the law, so the officer has a grey area to exploit and harass, and fine you. i should have the freedom, of riding an ebike, with whatever motors i want on it, as long as when im on the streets, the ecu is limiting power to within legal limits for my state and county. that way if i want to go off road, i have the freedom to uncork it and have some fun. i mean cars are no different , and yet absolutely different . no car i know of , is manufactured in a way, in which its power output and speeds are confined to say, the freeway speeds. almost every vehicle is limited to about 125 mph ( basic cars trucks ) , and you are trusted to obey the speed limits. no one comes along and says , your motor is rated at 500 hp, the book says your allowed to have 100hp ,, here is your ticket , go pay this fine. no state is like that. who in the F is making these laws? it makes no sense. im an adult, a responsible one. i wouldnt be caught going 35 mph down a sidewalk on a 2000 watt ebike, thats asking for trouble. but it bothers me, that if i were to buy this bike, that even having it in the legal mode, because the motors are rated at 1000 watts,, that cop is going to go full Kevin or Karen om me, and treat me like a criminal. im tired of watching all the other people out there who have already provided an example to this. if there is someone with a brain out there, reading this ,, that has a play in the laws,, the law should read this " an ebike is legal to ride on the roadways, so long as either the motors, or ecu, is limited to 700 watts, and in compliance with class 1,2, and 3 regulations" there is no reason i should not be allowed legally , to operate a 2000 watt, dual 1000 watt ebike on the street, as long as its ecu is limiting both wattage and speed in accordance with my local laws. its obvious these laws were made just as they were tho, so law enforcement can exploit something and have power over you, despite all your evidence that you were in fact following the law. i mean sure i can buy it, ride it legally, and in the legal modes, but all it takes is a cop to notice the wattage rating on the hub motors, and heres your ticket. thats bullsh_t man.

Good project, I would personally reduce throttle/pedal assist signal to front motor by adding resistor so front end is not as aggressive, and gain more traction.

This video has done me up... I've been eyeing up my 1st build, and I came across your channel a couple of days back. Excellent stuff, and you're only up the road from me testing your bits, which only reinforces why I should listen and learn, because i use the same places. So I've seen this, and now my 1st build has turned into a 3000W dual motor...

Fun 2WD bike. I build a lot of them and use independent throttles so keeping the front tire from scratching is as easy as not using the front throttle till I'm cruising fast enough to maintain traction
