I'm currently at 10 min in the vid and am here to throw in my 2 cents. Your ghetto throttle cable is probably not giving the rear engine full throttle.

Seemed like your voltage wasn't set hot enough. From what I could see, it looked like you didn't have any penetration on the original frame. If the welds cleanly broke away from the frame, you definitely need to turn the voltage up and adjust the wire speed to work with the new voltage setting. That's just my analysis from what I could see in the video.

I know he won’t see this... but he needs to do a couple things. #1 you need to fix the darn throttle cable so that the RPMs are the same. Otherwise you will destroy your transmissions. #2 you have more power now but that only helps on acceleration not top speed. You need to change the gearing for top speed. #3 contact gopowersports for possible mods like tuning it to get rid of the governor and stuff

you need to sync both engines so they are close in rpm when the throttle is pressed

Scrap the 6 wheeler design and give it tank tracks in the back! That would also get rid of the need for your spring contraption.

The wire attached to the second engine is too slack and not being pulled as much as the front when the throttle is pressed in

Matt check your throttle cable throw. It sounds like your front engine is hitting wide open throttle and your only getting partial throttle on the rear engine thats my thought

Best way to learn how to weld yourself is to do a bunch of practice welds on some scrap. Test them by sticking them in the vice and pound the crap out of them with a hammer. A good weld will be stronger than your material, so if the metal fails before the weld you're good. Try some out, make some adjustments, try more.

The frame between the engines needs to be articulated with coilover support to keep the rear engine planted.

Matt compress the shocks of the second axle more so that it has more travel or get bigger shocks

@ the 9:30 mark it sounds like the rear motor does not have full travel on the throttle?

Up your voltage and slow down for the welding on tubing and flux core is great for making nice welds

You need perfect measurements on both throttle cables so both engines run at the same time and compress the springs more

I think the rear suspension needs more up and down articulation.

You need to move the top of the rear shocks/springs further down. That way you'll have 4 wheels on the ground all the time

The rear engine's throttle cable is probably not adjusted right to open the rear engine all the way.. very easy fix

increase your toe-in for better steering clean your metal for better welding

For your rear engine, you might need to tighten up that line that goes to pedal, I think it is loose a little bit and if you get it tighter your rear engine will get the full power.

Love the 6 wheel go cart but the rear engine and wheels seem like the springs could use some more load so they have more travel.

you should swap a hayabusa motor into one of the gokarts

What you should do is fabricate something to cover over the 2 engines. Something like a truck bed

now that the Welds broke.... why don‘t you fix it differently, and make the second engine movable to the left and to the right, steering would be way better

I recommend you read the comments for this video especially, there's a lot of good improvements people have suggested such as switching and tuning suspension, tuning the throttle, newer parts for a heavier load etc. there's a lot but you should read them

Hey man btw I don't think there is a fuel problem... the carburettors run of the fuel in the bowls and don't use as much as they get so that shouldn't be an issue... I think you need to tighten that homemade throttle cable extension at the pedal. It looked very loose in the last video that way you don't get to pull the throttle all the way as it should

I thought that would happen 2:57 , i think you may need bigger shocks or maybe they're not an the correct angle to be able to have the range of motion you need . and you should definitely put more pressure on the rear shock so is can travel further when you go up/over stuff.

Do they make a freewheel hub or attachment for ATV type vehicles? If not they should, this vehicle could really benefit from that. imagine: if you will: if the rear or front engine was turning a set of wheels faster than the other, the slower wheels would freewheel allowing the slower engine to wind up or grab when a load slowed down the faster wheels.
