I am so sorry for your loss friend. I lost my mom and 2 sisters all within a year.. My two sisters were within a couple of days of each other. I would have never gotten through it if it weren’t for my drones and flying. Good to know I am not alone. Thanks for all that you do

All of those RC planes are modeled after famous racers from the Reno Air Races. I think all of them have been winners in the unlimited class at Reno at one time or another. They are *very* fast planes, probably some of the fastest propeller driven planes, and some quite beautiful too.
I had a control line version of Miss America, for either my birthday, or Christmas, when I was a young lad. It had a small Cox glow engine. Unfortunately, my dad flew it first and crashed it, so I never got to fly it. C'est la vie. Thank you Steve. Miss America, is still a very cool Mustang. 😁
Unfortunately, a dedicated place turns people off from the hobby due to the lack of FUN. This is why people fly drones and helicopters and planes in open fields as long as the item used is not annoyly noisy (i.e., a gas powered plane/helicopter).

In my video entitled "A MESSAGE FROM CAPTAIN DRONE" I mention how I have been passing my time and always bring cameras along.... that is how such videos come into existence even when I'm on a break. Just means you may see a pile of videos one week and then few to none for awhile, then videos on and off.

Super fun! What would you say the wind speed cutoff for flying one of these is? For instance, I try not to fly a mini drone in speeds above 15 mph. Not sure what that is in KPH.
It all depends on your confidence level. I have flown on crazy windy days with no issues but lots of attention and control is required, and on no windy days very Little control is needed.
hi Steve, LOVE your channel - thank you! How would you compare this bird to the 1.2 warbirds that Eflite have released recently? This seems faster than the 'scale' models in the 1.2m range. Would you agree? Indeed, it seems this is the speed of some EDFs!
