I have been fasting and praying for over a year and a half now five days a week for 15 hours a day. You want to get close to god and hear extremely clearly from him , that’s how to do it . I also see many more visions from him. Ion the past year I have had many visions but now they are constant . We are in an accelerated time in him . He is moving very quickly. Those who follow him very closely he will do mighty things with you .
I've fasted 3day water only, which I was told by my pastor that most of fasts in the old testament were 3day fasts when they would declare a national fast for Gods direction. Recently I did a Daniel fast ( fruits, vegetables and beans ) for 21 days. I was spiritually blest and reversed my diabetes !!
Moses Luswata don't loose hope...God says be still and know I am God...all you need is not to faint and loose hope in Christ...He will surely come through. Keep praying and studying His word and build relationship with Him...and leave the rest to Him 🙏🏾
@@mosesluswata2357 confess all your sins to God and ask him to forgive you. You should forgive everyone you might have bitterness and unforgiveness against then God will also forgive you. Also ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you what else you need to do for him to accept your fast.

I'm 62, I use to fast often, I have fallen away from fasting , I feel strong urges the lord calling me back to fasting. I fasted until 4 pm yesterday , and 2 pm today. I know that's not long, I have given up coffe 6 days which I like lot. Please pray for me strength and direction. I desire to go on 2 or 3, days or longer. Help me 🙏🏽🙏🏽

I am on day10 on a 40 day only fast after l got baptised last weekend. l eat small meal after dark. I am feeling good but my sleep is affected less sleep and last two nights l have bad dreams enemies trying to get me and two nights ago l had a spiritual visitation and tried to sleep paralyse me but l woke straight away and prayed and felt confident l was being watched by good angels.

Fasting has helped me look at food in a different way. Once mine is over, I'm going to make healthier meals. They will still be delicious, but healthy.
During fasting I always ask God to feed from the bread of heaven. It works wonders. You are more disciplined even in life. It takes you to another level

That is what happened to me, I was led into a fast after I was baptized and I did it. AMEN!!! How amazing Yes Jesus does appear to the Jews usually in a more intense way. My Jewish friend also had Jesus visit her in her apartment and she surrendered to HIM and her life has never been the same, she lives in such Joy for over 30 years now. Jesus appears to his Jewish elect - what a blessing.
I moved to Guatemala 10 years ago and my first year here somebody gave me a Bible and so that changed everything... I have a lot of time on my hands so I can study and learn a lot, but I am having great difficulty disconnecting from my flesh and doing the right thing... It's as though invisible forces are keeping me in sin even though I don't want that to be the case.... God says In psalm 23 I will lead you in the path of Righteousness for His names sake. Not by your might nor power but by the spirit says the Lord. Focus on building a relationship with Jesus...worshiping, spending time on His word asking Him for revelation and understanding...praying and letting him know you totally submit yourself to Him and He should lead you in all you do. Fasting breaks the chains of my addictions. I draw SO CLOSE to the Lord when I fast! The enemy will attack you as he doesn't WANT you to fast, so expect Satan to show up and start attacking you with your failures, and what do you think you're accomplishing, so be prepared. Remember that the devil attacked Jesus when He fasted too, and that Jesus fought him with the sword of the spirit, which is the Word of God.

Ann Varvaris as Rabbi says you should only do a no water fast if God has specifically called you to it period going without water for 3 Days could do kidney damage. Of course it's gone to have called you to the fast he will protect your kidneys. But I have learned through personal trial and error that you can't just aspire to go on a dangerous fast. It is the will of God for us to fast. but when it comes to no food no water fast we need to be sure God has called us to that fast

God himself said -- how can i forget my love for you --in Jeremiah-- your word LORD IS LIKE A FIRE-- SO despite all suffering he spoke. All fast if is for the kingdom IS NOT FROM THE LORD?
I believe the longest anyone should go without food and water is 3 days unless divinely-inspired from God this is called an absolute fast... And it was done by the kingdom of Nineveh to turn God's Wrath... Everyone in the Kingdom fasted including the animals the Lord heard and they delivered their souls. I once went on a 3-day fast and it was a wonderful time of closeness. If you have not fasted for any lengthy period of time you may want to build up to it ....do an entire day maybe 3 or 4 months later do two days .... dot and 3 and 4 months later go three days... if you're looking to get closer to the Lord ... to break some addictions... And hear from the Lord... He will sustain you.

Thank God I have been intermittent fasting for more than 5 years eating just one meal a day. My challenge is how to make it count for the kingdom instead of just being a habit.

jarod Ritchie Hey Jarod. Yes I fasted, it was Awesome! Great clarity in hearing the voice of the Lord through scripture and intercession. Yes I did receive some deliverance but with that you have to keep your hands and feet clean spiritually to keep it. My goal was to go after God to cast down any idols in my life. To focus and strengthen our bond and learn what my calling is. He did reveal it but there were clues all along, I just had not put them together. Hope I answered all of the questions you had. I try to fast 2 and 3 days a week. I struggle with tea and coffee cravings. I fast with Jentzen Franklin church every year in January. Fasting and prayer is very beneficial to all believers.

Can you please pray for my mother? She was in a serious car accident back in January and broke 14 bones all over her body, had a ton of surgeries and is currently going through a very hard recovery, and to add to it, she didn't have insurance at the time of the accident, her current insurance is refusing to pay for a lot of her medical bills and we have an outstanding debt with the hospital of over a million dollars. Whenever we do a fast, it automatically has to be abstaining from many things at that time and not only food. To connect with the spiritual, we have to give up the natural. So abstaining from social media etc. in order to truly connect with GOD. It should be a time of prayer and deep reflection without any disturbance of the world. Otherwise it will only be a diet. Isaiah 58 describes the fast that GOD has chosen.

I had a dream the other night.. It made me sad.. Jews were gathered together sacrificing lambs.. I don't know if it was for the Passover or something else.. But what made me sad, had nothing to do with the lambs.. What made me sad, had to do with my own inaction.. In my dream, the Spirit of the Lord, wanted me to tell them, the price was paid.. The Lamb was slain.. But I hesitated, and held back.. It made me cry to know, in my dream, I denied the will of God.. 😓

Pastor, Rabbi. I enjoyed all 3 series. There is something you said at the second series that I’m not comfortable with. You said that during the Lord’s 40 days and 40 nights fast he drink water. But during Moses fast he did not drink water. Now nothing can be proven that the Lord Jesus Christ drunk any water. So some May think that this is misleading. Plus the word fasting means covering of the mouth. I truly believe true fasting is abstinence from both food and water. Now for me just as you say it can be for 6 hours, 12 hours or even the whole day or many days. The most important thing is that all Christians should fast often for the reasons you gave especially in the 3rd message. Thank you for this message and may God bless you.
