Am currently on a 10 day fast, did not plan it, just felt the urge and decided to obey and honestly little things have changed and i appreciate God for them. I study the word everyday which wasnt a regular thing for me and i have spent more time in his presence. I could pray more and meditate more and more confident of my faith cuz of the things i have studied. I pray to God stay off social media. I still peep here and there but for the next 5 days, Lord help me to stay off. Amen. I have never done 5 days and counting. This is my first time.

Christians used to fast 150+ days a year. 40 days before pass over 40 days before Christmas 15 days before the Death o Mary Mondays and Wednesdays Not a water fast per say, but its a fasting mimicking caloric restricting diet In its strict form only water boiled beans allowed with out any animal products and oils. Or deserts.
