only thing Raj wants to grow is his bank account. he cares nothing for the customers and he loathes his employees. so what did he do? he got rid of what's now around 65,000 employees. Then the scumbag marketed it like it's the best thing ever and the stock went up. we've come a long way from Fred flying medical documents to Memphis. the day they announced Raj in upper management i knew he was the downfall of the company. thing is now merging express into ground that means there is a strong argument that FedEx no longer should operate under the railway labor act, since they essentially now will be a trucking company. I hope UPS and the teamsters seize this opportunity!
How can you sit there and say you want to be true to your core?? The people who built this once great company, you have turned on them and ended many careers in the name of profit.
amazon poached away a lot of Fedex executives who helped form ground. I think Fedex tried to sue them over it. Why do you think the Amazon model is so much like the ground model
Raj has killed Fedex, but he didn't do it alone. The company went to a shareholder priority company and that has temporarily raised it's stock value , but it isn't sustainable in the long term when you have competition. Layoffs, benefit cuts, multibillion dollar stock buybacks, all in the name of "rewarding" the shareholders at the expense of the workers and people who made the company what it became. With Raj and Dietrich in the house, Fedex will become a shell of what it once was and continue to shed market share and jobs until it ends being sold off piece by piece. This was done intentionally, with the go ahead from the rest of the board and shareholders, because at the end of the day, they can always get out what they put in and then some.
Make sure you further distance yourself and upper “management” from the frontline employees so you have no clue what is really going on at the station level PSP my sss Profit-Shareholder’s Profit is more like it!!!
