Ooh, getting an injury that keeps you from playing is rough for musicians! A couple years back I got a deep cut on one finger and it kept me from fiddling for a few weeks. In retrospect, it wasn't a big deal (it healed quickly and is almost invisible now) but at the time I didn't know how well it would heal and it really messed with my head.
