Geoff Castellucci actually has his own RU-vid chanel and does really good bass covers of songs. Mostly he sings with multiple versions of himself, so do not be confused if you whatch one of the videos where he disguises himself to look different then the other versions of him. Please check his RU-vid chanel and his songs out, I would love to see it.

To follow up on another Live performance from Voiceplay I would hugely recommend “Elvira live at the Gordon performance centre”. You get some insane Geoff and Earl moments and see the guys performance personality 😂😂

Geoff has saidtat if they were ever invited to sing for the President at the White House, this is what they would do. They performed this on stage for years, when Tony left, J None took that front seat. Very little of their live work is recorded professionally. Their ACA Top 10 series is mostly live.

Thanks for your reaction! Yes this is an old performance from the 'Sing Off' tour more than 10 years ago. Both Home Free and Voice Play competed against each other in season 4 of the 'Sing Off' and Home Free won. Home Free and Voice Play went on the road together for the 'Sing Off' tour after the show ended and became close friends sometimes even doing collaborations together (you already reacted to "Survivor: Zombies Vs Hillbillies" which is one they did together live on their tour). Yes that is short haired, younger Geoff as he (and other members of Voice Play) were working as performers for Universal theme park in Orlando Florida in this time period and both Disney and Universal theme parks had strict rules for their employees in regard to short hair, no facial hair, and no visible tattoos allowed. The member in the front seat next to Eli is former baritone singer, Tony Wakim. Tony bought PattyCake Productions with Layne and chose to focus on the behind the camera production and day to day management of the studio (Tony had become burned out from the demands of touring and singing but is still very much a part of Voice Play designing costumes, production and camera work). You did react to "Phantom Of The Opera" which had Tony singing the part of the phantom. You would probably enjoy Voice Play's "A Crimpella", a very different medley with acting that they also did frequently on their live tour back then.

This is from season 4 of the Sing Off competition in 2014 with Home Free. Home Free won and Voiceplay took 4th place. When Voiceplay was touring their concerts consisted of mostly musical skits. Chicken Song and Elvira are 2 of their funniest and most popular live ones besides this one. These guys are naturally hilarious. For a not live funny video of theirs I recommend "Butter" featuring Deejay Young. They show off their very goofy selves.

Yes VOICEPLAY was actually on The Sing Off the same season as Home Free. This is from The Sing Off tour. The Filharmonics was also on the same season also, and the were in the last Perfect Pitch movie. The first time i saw this i laughed really hard. I really enjoyed watching your reaction to these guys.

Yes, Layne does sing, and does so now more than ever since he knows how much we love to hear his voice. But when the group started, Layne was their baritone and sang all the time. It was only when Scott Porter left for his acting career that Layne took over beatboxing. In an interview with Peter Barber, Layne said all the guys had been experimenting with beatboxing but it was something he wanted to pursue.

Should definitely see The Chicken Song they do on stage. One version has Tony in it and the other has a stand-in for Tony. Both hilarious and a little different from each other.

There is a short documentary on their channel called "voiceplay unlocked" (around 8 minutes long) about this tour "The Sing Off Live Tour" the friends they made and future vision of the group. Worth the time to watch and gives a real behind the scenes look at what touring is like. #Voiceplay

Next to Eli is Tony Wakim ex-member of VP who now runs Pattycake productions with Layne. Geoff is always there. He, Layne, and Earl are the three original founder members of the group, together since middle school. Layne does sing, and has a beautiful voice, but mostly in songs that don't require percussion. They never won SingOff though made the final one year. There is a video of one of the performances, Play That Funky Music, Whit Boy, was the song. VOICEPLAY - Play That Funky Music (THE SING OFF season 4 episode 2).

WAIT WAIT WAIT! You haven't seen Layne sing? You need to watch Hellfire, STAT! Also True Colors, The Wellerman, In The Air Tonight...I won't ruin anymore, because it's always a wonderful surprise when Layne sings! But you must hear him. He has such a sweet, pure voice!

Running Up That Hill is one of my favorite relatively recent songs with Layne singing a nice part. He's been doing beatboxing for so long, almost all of the videos I've seen haven't had him singing a significant part like he apparently did in the beginning with 4:2:Five.

They were on the same season with Home Free and Home Free won that season. This was done on the tour after the season with the top acts of the season.

#VoicePlay This is a comedic masterpiece, as well as vocally amazing! This is from a tour after VoicePlay competed on season 4 of The Sing-Off TV show, which is the season that Home Free won. VoicePlay was eliminated about 1/2 through the competition. If you haven't already seen it, you really NEED to watch them perform The Chicken Song!

VoicePlay was in season 4 of the Sing Off and made it about half way before being eliminated. They went on this after show tour and became good friends with that season's winner, a 5-man group called Home Free. Their competition number didn't air on the show but was film for later, in costume, each group separate from the other. There's a second version out where they are on stage together that's just as funny. Some other off beat VP videos I think you'll enjoy are A Crimpella, The Fox, Wookie for Christmas, and (my favorite) The Chicken Song
