Not surprised because we don't celebrate the good things that happen in Canada. It's like we are not proud of being Canadian anymore. I believe that too much immigration and how people feel is part of the problem.

People didn't initially know because news covered the actual 911 sights, creation of TSA and Homeland Security, investigation findings by FBI and other law enforcement as well as the war. Eventually the story unfolded and a musical was made about it.

I remember the story and believe that this is Canada at it's best. These people are the heroes of Canada but in 2024 things are so different.
