Yeah! Love that you're bringing music theory out to the masses. A lot of young producers think it's some confusing tool that restrains creativity but in fact, it's a language for understanding music and communicating ideas easier. Plus, they're not 'rules' that hinder creativity, they're just guidelines that you have complete creative freedom to IGNORE. So to young producers: stop being lazy and study some theory. There are really no excuses with the advent of the internet and the infinite resources available. If you're serious about your craft, this is a seriously high return on investment and gives you an edge.
