(don't wanna spoiler much for people who only watch anime but u will be able to see it in infinite castle arc which comes after hashira training arc) It not offensive form and the fact he cut Rui with a single strike is only due to him being fast and strong. Im mainly focusing on "this allows him to concentrate all of his energy on a single strike" part cause its misleading

The user's heartbeat drops dangerously low while he/she/they/it use one hand to cut through all oncoming attacks. The user's hand moves at such a fast speed that it appears to be still. But if there are too many consecutive attacks or the attacks are too fast, dead calm will not work.

He has accommodation of a lot, not one, but 100s of fast strikes too fast to see. He It’s complete like a bubble of complete defense of strikes and when someone gets too close or when he travels to that person strikes them out
