Ka Ri Na Isaiah 58 and other passages in the book talk about the correct way to fast, and there’s examples like the Daniel and Ezra fast, but, overall seek TMH to guide you on how to do your fast based on your needs.❤️

Its all a part of maturiting in God. You"re becoming an older child where the responsibility of a differ type of participation is necessary. Stay close to God and listen intently. Assume your position as His Son and speak as of you live in His house carrying about chores because He sent you to accomplish them. Its o His account and already paid for. God is Good and keep growing up in Him.

God blessed me with a job as well which I am beyond thankful for. I hated my last job and knew in my heart, I should quit but my mother told me that wouldn't be the best thing to do. I ended up getting fired but being happy about it especially since I was in the final steps of interviewing for another job. I wanted that job so bad, but God pointed me in another direction. After about 2 and a half months, I finally met someone who could help me. I remember getting myself together and getting my faith back and the very next day I get a call for a 2 week position with a great company doing exactly what it is I wanted to do career wise. That came to an end after only 3 days of working and I remember being a little sad thinking what will I do now? Less than an hour later, I got a call from a recruiter telling me I got the position for an interview I had that morning. God is good!!!!

I'm a teacher by profession,I always wanted to be a nanny and I would pray to God about it.so one day got a random call from someone saying that they were given my number if I was interested for an interview for a nanny position🙄I was blown away I had an interview with four other qualified people... And I got Gods favour and I was chosen... #i truly believe God answers prayers..🙏

I asked God to show me HIS will in my life and HE is doing it. HE is teaching me how to wait . Here I thought I was in the wilderness but HE just wants me to have faith...I believe HE has me in this pruning season because what HE has for me is bigger than what I'm asking for. I’ve been applying for new jobs for months. Last night I prayed to God about how I should approach getting one, what it was that I was missing, how I needed to prepare for the job He has for me. As soon as I picked up my laptop to start applying to MORE jobs today, I felt the urge to pick up my phone and go to youtube. This was the first video on my feed! 💛

My goodness. I am constanly in awe of God. He has moved in my life simply by being graceful to me. In giving me a job I wasn't qualified for, in a field I wasn't even interested in. He moves in my life everyday in helping me overcome rejection, low self esteem, and in comforting me in the good plan he has in store for my future.

I have been working at a retail superstore since June. My manager barely gave me hours, basically one day or two days a week totalling 10 hours. I would be an amazing cashier opening store credit card accounts for customers and even achieving the store weekly goal in one day or a Sunday. Despite the weekly pay and perks, I kept thinking about leaving the job and finding something better. I decided to start applying to multiple jobs each day and started receiving phone calls for interviews. I went to some, skipped some, but something made me walk into a store I had applied to and probably wouldn't have received a call from. I spoke to the assistant manager working by himself that day and told him about my background and passion for sports and sales. He took my contact info and said, "I'll see what I can do for you" the next day or Thursday I got a call for an interview with the store manager. I showed up Friday and got hired after walking in on Wednesday of that week. I was surprised by how fast it worked out in my favor. I'm about to leave the other gig. Great Video!!!

God also speaks to me when I’m waking up. It’s like a voice surrounding my head and penetrating through my own thoughts. He told me, hold your wisdom in your mouth. And he put me in a posture I could intuitively understand him. I pray he speaks to me again and again.

I moved to an apartment, a couple hours away from my family, with my boyfriend. A couple weeks in of living here, just recently he packed up and left. God closed the door on our relationship because deep down we both knew we weren't meant for each other and we both have different dreams/paths. Now I'm living alone in the apartment still looking for a job. I do get anxious/worry sometimes about finding a good job, especially with no experience. But I have to trust in God and believe in His plan, even though I may not understand it right now. I know that this is building my character and preparing me for what's to come in the future and for my purpose.

The company that I'd like to work in called me almost one month ago and now I've been waiting, praying and believing. I know that God will give me new job. This is hardest thing to do. Hi Elisa, this is my first time to watch your video! Your story is so inspiring and just what i needed! I just felt i needed to share this. Early November, i got contacted by an HR from my dream company. I submitted my documents, and told me i wll hear from them "in the coming days". Until now,I haven't heard from them yet but i already sent a follow-up email. I was at church early this evening and asked God for a sign that the job is for me. i asked him to show me a white rose as confirmation. On my way home, i passed by a furniture store with fake white roses on the vase. I brushed it off because the flowers weren't really real. then, i went home and ate dinner ad had this sudden urge to stroll at a nearby park. to my surprise, there was wedding reception filled with white roses! And still a bit anxious, tonight i searched here in youtube how i will know if god will give me my dream job. And here i am, first time watching your video with WHITE ROSES ON THE BACKGROUND!! I am in the EXACT same situation currently. I've been back and forth with my dream job for about 6 MONTHS now since the hiring process is highly competitive. I've worked on a project for them, did a video interview and TOMORROW I have the last interview. During the months of waiting I wanted to give up but something in my heart was telling me to be patient and trust God's timing. I haven't applied anywhere else (in faith that the job is for me). I've prayed so many nights asking God if this job was his will. I knew that he was molding me to be patient and this test has drawn me closer to God. Now, I have made it to the last round of the hiring process, I just ask that all of you pray for me so that I can receive God's blessing! P.s I find it amazing how God works because I was totally just watching random videos on youtube and this popped up! It's my first time watching your videos and find it a blessing that God spoke to me through your testimony. May God keep using you and this channel for his glory! God bless you :)

Wow! This is amazing! This reminds me of when I was jobless for almost 4 months. In my field, people do not want to hire you with no experience. Many people in the field told me how they had to relocate to rural areas until offered a position in the city after gaining experience. They expressed how it’s almost impossible to get a job in the city with no experience. I had so many rejection emails, a few interviews and was even flown out for one interview to meet the owner of the company. I knew in my heart that I didn’t want that job, but I was desperate. I was offered one job out of town in a place I knew I wouldnt be happy at. I told my now ex husband about it and he told me to take it. I knew in my heart that wasn’t the place for me. He was worried about us not having enough money for things. Finally, I accepted an offer, also out of town, but still had a desire to not have to relocate. Two weeks before I was about to relocate, I got offered a job with the company I interned at, with people that I already knew and had a bond with and 20 minutes from home. God knew the desire of my heart. But, during this time, I prayed, I fasted, I had faith, I was PERSISTENT, and He came through. Let me also say that during these 4 months of not having a job, I didn’t suffer nor want for anything. Thank you God!! And thank you for this video. It reminded me of how faithful God is.

You are a wonderful example of a young woman living by faith. I think two important things that I hear is that you ask and you LISTEN. So #1 you listen; you are open. #2 you surround yourself with are like minded people that pray for you that believe in the Lord and you can count on them to believe with you. You are a great example. I attest that God is good. I've been in this period of releasing the control I think I have and giving everything back to Him. I've been embarking on this brand new business venture and I've been waiting for sales to pour in. I'm steadily waiting on God's timing for this to happen. I keep hearing His voice tell me "ask and it will be given to you. Seek and you will find" . I feel so strongly that His spirit is going to move and I just know I'm going to be undone when it happens. This was one of the first videos I listened to (I say "listened" because I had it on while I was gardening), and found it really inspiring. Thank you, Alyssa. I work for myself and I hadn't had work for several weeks. I then decided to pray (I'd only just recently found my faith), and I asked God if he could help. By lunch time that same day I had two contracts come in. You might say that was coincidence, but it seems odd that work comes in the very day I pray, and not all the days before, when I hadn't prayed.

Glory! I NEEDED this video & I kept scrolling past it day after day. Today I had time! I’ve been looking for a new job & the Lord has been blessing me with interviews for the past month. One job that I REEEEEEAALLY wanted (Web Content Manager) called yesterday & said that they’re going with someone else w/more experience - BUT, they are opening up a new Communications/Digital department and want me to be the first within the department and work my way up towards that position. They’re even willing to get me into classes to ultimately help me become a Web Content Manager. They praised my references & loved that I continued to be PERSISTANT and BOLD by following up, showing interest, etc. My God, my God - if this wasn’t on time 🙌🏽 Patiently waiting for the new position to open up because my folder is already sitting on the Directors desk 🙌🏽🙏🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽🙌🏽

Wow, so I just came across your video today and when I say this was sent straight from God. I had applied for my dream job at least five times in the past. On the sixth time, I applied I decided that I was going to send an email requesting further information about the position. I felt like I was qualified and I had no idea why I never received a call. Within the hour, I received a phone call to come in for an interview. The interview went absolutely perfect! I sent a thank you email the next day. A week had gone by and I still didn't hear anything back. So, I called and I was told she was busy so I left a voicemail. Never received a callback. Few weeks later, I sent another email. Until this day I Still have not heard back it has been a month. I'll just keep my faith it has definitely been tough. However, I feel that God wouldn't have gave me the opportunity without a reason.

Your video just confirmed what HE told me. All I have to do is wait on HIM to perfect what HE started. I have had doubts about where I clearly know HE took me, but things weren't working the I wanted and that gave me some doubts. Interesting. I read life is GRAND's comment and I also feel like I'm waiting on the Lord. I lost my retail management job a year ago because the company had to make labor cuts. My husband is now working 19 hours a day so we can survive, and every time he interviews for a better paying job, he's rejected. I have been seeking employment and always, when I pray, I get the feeling that the timing isn't right. I realize that in our lives there is a time and a season for everything and I believe it is planned by God. I am going to begin a fast in the morning and start praying this situation through. My husband hates his overworked, sleep deprived life. The only thing keeping him from giving up and running away, is that he says he doesn't want to lose everything and he wouldn't do that to me. God bless my wonderful husband. He needs my help and I haven't been able to find a job!! We live in metro Phoenix, Arizona and the jobs are very competitive. Please everyone, pray for us. We don't want to leave Arizona because our children and grandchildren live here. Please pray for us, brothers and sisters. Thank you so much!!

Yes! I completed my masters by Aug 2017. I interviewed for a job Oct 2017. It was a created position and I had a dream I spoke to one of the ladies that interviewed me, so I called to get the status of my application. The job was still available as of December (applied for countless jobs online but no bites) but they were waiting to get approval from the board before proceeding with hiring. January 2018 is almost over, but your testimony just gave me hope that the job will be mine between now and February 2018! Talk about perseverance in all of this; my God!

Mmmmm... Yeah, learning to wait and be still can be challenging but is so rewarding. Here are some scriptures to encourage you: "But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." Is. 40:31 "The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him." Lam. 3:25 (and one of my favs... ) "I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. You're inspiring & it's a blessing to see a young woman with so much faith in THE LIVING GOD! I know that HE'S real because HE'S done so much, but recently I had my hot water tank & washing machine to go out. I didn't complain. I boiled hot water & was going to make due until I could replace it. Just when I was ready to buy a hot water tank & start saving for a washing machine. GOD placed it on my biological father's heart to buy my hot water tank 1 day & the next day be bought my washing machine. I didn't ask my father for it, but my HEAVENLY FATHER made provision. This new year i am believing God to provide me with my own vehicle. My first vehicle ever! I do have my learners permit but I will be working on getting my drivers licence this year i'll be 37 in Mar (I am very ashamed to say that I don't have my licence) I know its never to late to accomplish your goals. Its just at my age I should of been had it years ago (its not my fault. I wont get into the story) but I want the Hyundai Santa fe sport I am very honest to God about what I want I pray that I will see the desire of my heart happen this year!!

Matthew 7:21 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 6:24 "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." We have to serve God to do His will. We cannot enter Heaven without doing His will. We cannot serve Him and do His will if we also serve mammon, or money. Quit your job and work for God! He *commands* us to do this! Our eternal destination depends greatly on this one simple thing! He doesn't want you to buy houses, cars, etc.

Alyssa, this videos connected with my spirit and elevated my faith. Thank you for obeying God, being sensitive to him and sharing about your relationship with God. I've been thinking about leaving my job because I'm not receiving the income the way I need it, however, I don't feel it's quite the right time yet even though I have 1 job I am thinking about applying for. This video reminded me to wait on God to guide me and believe and trust in him and all things will work out for good. truly inspiring. thank you. I had a heart transplant 10 months ago and even though I am still recovering I am in dire need of a job. it is really challenging for me but I know God will not just give me the job but he will heal my physically as I am in the job. many people have been saying that I need to wait as after a heart transplant it takes over 1 year to recover. I am broke and struggling to make ends meet so healthy or not I need a job. I have been shortlisted last week for a job 2 hour flight away, so I would need to relocate by myself. I am living in hope and faith right now. I was informed today that the company will let me know as soon as they complete their internal procresses. it has been more than a month since my interview and psychometric testing. there were tons of applications and I was shortlisted. all I can do now is pray for God's favour. I am concerned that I have not fully recovered from the heart transplant and might need to relocate to another city. I am overcome with anxiety ( I'm in tears as I am typing this) right now I am confused and uncertain ....i cannot see a way but I know that God will make a way

I got promoted twice in one month! I had to take a lowly position at a call center and was upset about it because it wasn’t in my field (HR)... Another important thing is that the job is downtown, so I encounter a lot of homeless people. I never had a problem giving and considered myself quite generous actually, until I was faced with the conviction to give nearly everyday. I found myself annoyed by it, and I knew this wasn’t the right spirit so they Holy Spirit convicted me pray to be “grateful to give”. Not just willing, but actually thankful to give to anyone who asked. And I prayed this prayer and my heart started to change. Meanwhile... I stayed at the job for 5 months, all the while reminding the HR manager of my interest in working with her. For 5 months God reminded me to work as unto Him, and I was faithful, despite being at a totally menial job despite my college degree. One day my bosses called me into their office and offered me a promotion, as a team lead with a DUAL ROLE as an HR ADMIN! I was thrilled, and so grateful. Just two weeks later, I was promoted again to a manager role with the raise I asked for during my original negotiations! This week, the HR manager told me to apply to an internal posting for a FULL TIME HR position! By the grace of God, I’ll get it. But no matter what, God is good! Almost every time I give to someone in need, they say “God bless you.” And God has TRULY blessed me. I know this is SO long but I hope it encourages you all! 💙

My daughter is now eleven years old. Her father has been in and out her life all her life. He went to jail for failure to pay child support once but he has never really been consistent. Now at eleven years old he's suing me for full custody of our daughter. Telling her things to turn her against me and her siblings. Trying to convince her she's better off with him. But before all of this took place I went to bible study one night. I had not been in a while but something pulled me there. The pastor said wait a minute I don't know who this is for but your child will not leave your home. Your family will be home. Thank God. He already knew before I had received any kind of court papers or documents. It is already done in my favor. God is awesome. I'm nothing without Him.

God has been working on me with trust with him. For the last 4 months he is ordered every step that I've made. I moved from Texas to Georgia, look for job where I felt most secure and applied for one that I thought was out of my reach. I got the job! He found me the place where I am now and the one I live in later. He got me the money to get here pay my rent get food and clothes that I need for work. This walk wasn't easy for me but it was consistent and faithful because of him.

Thanks for this sister. Could you pray for me that Jesus would give me a job. The Lord is bringing my husband and I quite suddenly into a new season, new community, new place and new husband for my job. I'm so excited about where the Lord is taking us and honored to be apart of the journey. I also am aware for my need to remain faithful that God will give work for my hands too. If you'd be willing to pray for me to press into faith and for God to give me a job related in what I actually want to be doing that would be a gift. I’m in a season of Seeing God’s Hand at work for the Blessings He has promised and showed me, but I doubt sometimes when it’s not coming the way I want it to or as fast as I want it to. I just saw and subscribed to your channel yesterday. What a blessing your testimonies are. I have quite a few to share myself but what I wanted to share with you was how recently it has been a huge desire to get my voice out on RU-vid and social media. I have a lot of people to help with my experiences. I am a trainer and nutrition coaching, going to school for physical therapy and I automatically assumed that would be what my channel would be about. I kept thinking how I could encorporate God into all that. But I was inspired by you/your channel. Scripture just kept coming to me and it was like, "DUH GIRL, God should be first, His Kingdom should be first". So I posted my first video last night with a shout-out to you. 👍 Sidenote: I have been really lacking in provision and asking God like where am I out of order, what's going on because you are my provider?! You reminded me in your other video that I needed to do a heart check and make sure I didn't have any idols, make sure I was on the path He set for me. So I recommit teddy and am waiting for Him to tell me what to do. So PRAISE GOD, he gets the glory, but thank you!!!

Alyssa this testimony and the one you shared about your new apartment are so encouraging, since I am currently looking for full-time work as a Exec Admin/Paralegal with a minimum salary of $65K a year, as well as a 2brm 2bath apartment in South Jersey. I was so intrigued and rejoiced with you over Daddy God's abundant blessing in your life. So many challenges you faced beforehand are identical to my faith walk for the same, but I know God is faithful and Ephesians 3:20 will manifest in my life, as well since Daddy is no respector of persons but He only honors our faith. Obedience IS better than sacrifice which I endeavor to do persistently!!! May God bless your life, your blessings, and this forum to share the goodness of our God and His Kingdom through faith in His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ!!!😊🤗😇

Right now I've been praying for god to move me away from my current job that has been extremely stressful and moved me to suicidal thoughts over the last two years. I've been interviewing with a company for nearly a month and a half now, with a team and company that I believe would really fit me well. These last few weeks have been torturous for me, and I hope tomorrow will be my final call with this new place so I can leave this place of suffering and continue my journey with god.. hoping maybe there's something I can do to help other people in my free time who've been placed in positions of darkness and provide them with at least one positive story.

I am currently waiting on God for a good job. Quit my last job due to being pregnant and unable to cope with the demands. The rejections definitely knock your faith and sometimes I just want to give up. But this gave me encouragement. God is saving the perfect job for me and preparing me to be perfect for that job.

I feel like God is leading me in a dimension of my life that I have no awareness of. Things just don’t feel the same look the same, and the things I thought I wanted for myself, even though I have them now, I feel like God is moving in a completely different direction. Scary! I have had my ups and down in my walk with God and last year I was fed up with some personal stuff I said to myself year 2018 is going to be different I want to move out I need a job that I’m able to sustain and nobody knew this but God! My sister text me a video of you of how God have you an apartment I literally just click on it and watch it all then I subscribe to your channel it was very encouraging! So I was going to leave I don’t know what I did but I clicked on another video without realizing what it was about and it was how God gave you a job! One of the things that I am hoping and asking GOD for his blessings and favor, is in starting my Christian counseling and Life coaching practice. I am praying for the opportunity and success in reaching many souls through counseling and life coaching. I am currently in the season of sowing and waiting. He has been so graceful, faithful, helpful and mighty father (my daddy). I just want to thank him for everything he has given to me and everything he has taken away from me. Hi Alyssa, thank you for this video! I've been looking for a job it seems forever! I would go on one app and I got a couple of interviews but 🚫 job. I have also been without my own place for quite some time now and I'm really ready to move. I constantly talk to God about blessing me with my own place! I keep my grands and get paid for it, but it's not enough money to get a place and sustain it!I I have 8 grand's and I've seriously considered getting my childcare license which would allow me to get paid much, much more than I do now, but sometimes I lack the motivation to keep pursuing this. I did the initial steps however I have more to complete. I have been blessed with and have a passion for creativity.. If I could I'd craft for most of the day. Years ago I was homeless and the shelter had Bible study. When it ended another lady and I were the last ones to leave. The lady who did the Bible study said one of you have always wanted your own business, I said, that's me and she said you're going to have it! This was many yrs ago Alyssa and when I was young my first craft I made was a doll from a dish liquid bottle and it was very nice! Later as an adult I started doing greeting cards. I have also loved decorating and always got complimented on my decorating when someone would come to my house! God blessed me to be able to take a little and make much out of it. When my children were young I would give them birthday parties and I would get compliments on how I would decorate with/streamer! I have considered doing events but because I have someone in my family who decorates for showers, noone would give me a chance but now I'm preparing for a baby shower. (Look at God)!!!😀😄😄 and I plan on going on RU-vid doing videos soon, Lord willing. So, after watching one of your videos I said maybe God wants me to purse my business? I've been a Entrepreneur for some time now and I'm excited about where I feel I'm going! When God opens the doors I'm going to walk through them!

God saw how far I was from Him. I dreamt of the job i currently have. But with the money I was getting, i leaned on my own understanding. But although i was getting so much, i was still empty inside. I kept looking for happiness. I fell into so much depression when this dream job- and so i thought- that i have now had allegations of sales misconduct against me. It was the most painful thing i have ever experienced in my entire life. I know in my heart that i never deliberately fooled anyone. It was more of an ignorance on my part but of course in most companies they call it negligence or misconduct. I will have a hearing with HR tonight. Whatever the outcome is, I am entrusting everything to God. I am keeping my faith that He knows more than I do. He will lead me to where I need to be. He will provide for my needs. He knows ALL of me. Please pray for me.
