God said no so many times and every time deep down I knew it was a no. I prayed for 15 years for my husband (didn´t date) and got married last year at 35, worth every minute of the wait.
@@ASMRcandy sorry, I don´t understand what you mean, if you´re asking if I ever held on to a guy after I knew God was saying no (it felt like an awful restlessness), yeah, I did for a while and I had no peace until I did let him go.
You're making me cry because I just met who I believe to be my future husband. It's a guy from my church, I finally noticed him a couple weeks ago when he preached about how to develop a relationship with God. I had never paid much attention to him before then. The way he spoke about God captivated me. After that I went home and began to pray each day about it. I prayed that God would allow him to approach me if he was the one. He still didn't approach me so I began to pray to God about whoever my future husband is. I prayed that my future husband would begin preparing for me and I prayed that God would make me a good wife. I told myself that no matter what I would not approach him first because I always tend to do that, I wanted to make sure that he was sent from God. He finally approached me the other night.
I feel like I always struggling “hearing” from God so I ask him to give me signs and man they are SUCH big signs. I dated this guy that caused me nothing but pain and heartache. I asked God for a sign if the guy wasn’t meant to be in my life and a couple of days later my grandma pulled me aside and said “you will love again. He is not the one for you”. She had never given me relationship advice before. I was so incredibly shocked!!!!!!!! God is so good and was so apparent in that moment of my life!!
God speaks in so many ways!! My husband would do the same, he would ask God "If this isn't the one for me, take her out of my life" and every time whether a day or two, it would end!
Hey Jesy Jade. I appreciate you sharing your testimony. I have a similar one. A few years ago I was engaged twice to the same person. I prayed to God one day if I should marry him and the following Sunday at church I was at the alter. I wasn’t praying out loud. This sister in front of me turned around and shouted at me saying , “he is Not your husband!” Anyway, I shared this testimony last year with the lady who gave me the confirmation and she did not remember. God def speaks through people. I’m forever grateful for that His word.

The last time He actually prepared me to break up with him, even though I loved him. He has something much better for me, and I trust Him with ALL my heart!

That's the thing: Be for him what you expect your husband to be for you. If you wish for a godly man with a lot of good fruit - bear it first. God is good for he will make you understand that you actually can fulfill Gods plans just like that - without needing a husband. Having a partner is a gift, not a requirement and never a demand.
I agree. My family actually doesn't want to get married it's not their desire. My mom said she doesn't desire to be married again. I also am not interested. But if I want sex I think I have no choice to get married.
I just don’t always agree with this view because there were many broken women that needed help in the Bible and God eventually sent them someone. A divine helpmate, a spouse, a kinsman redeemer
I have a deep 5-year crush for this guy. There came a point that I asked God if he was the one for me because of this lingering feeling. And, God gave His confirmation. I am in a recurring “doubt-belief stage” as I don’t know if I heard God right. But everytime, I doubt His confirmation, He would speak to me and give me His affirmation. Lately, I have accepted that the guy was the one but not yet the time because God is still working on my character.

Yes! Exactly. Let me share this with you : In my experience, when someone comes to you saying that they've heard from God for you, etc. if it TRULY is from God, it will not surprise you! What I mean by that, is God would have already been speaking that to YOUR heart, and it would just be confirmation for you! God will not take you by surprise with such things. I have had numerous people throughout my life tell me God told me this or that about my life.. sometimes it's been things that God was already speaking to me on, so it's 'familiar' and i take it as confirmation. Sometimes, it's been completely off the page, out of the book, of what God is speaking to me, it does not bring peace to my heart, and does not register in my heart as the Lord. I'm so thankful for the Holy Spirit in teaching us and letting us know these things!
Yes I was talking to this guy from my church and he kept telling my that God was telling him to be persistent and keep pursuing me over and over, but everything in me knew it was wrong because God was telling me no. He was angry with me when I repeatedly told him no, and at the end of an argument he said “I think I loved you”, but I don’t think he really was, I think he was in love with the idea of having a gf that is joyful during church and on fire for God. I learned a lot from that relationship even though it was such a struggle and was beyond frustrating. Also this guy is still in my church small group but I think he is mature enough now to understand that it’s not what God has intended lolol
You know what I pray for? I pray that one day you wake up in the morning and you don't have a single worry in your head. I pray that you wake up looking forward to the day ahead because you don't know what new exciting things you're going to experience! I pray that the time you spend with your loved ones is filled with constant pure joy and love. I pray that you always feel loved, appreciated and valued because you love yourself. I pray that you laugh so much every day, you have stuff squirting out your nose (Lol maybe not the nose part). I pray that you never stop smiling. I pray that you smile everyday. I pray that you are always kind to yourself and others. I pray that you see your own beauty (because you are perfect) and I pray that you always follow your heart :) because when you do, you live a happier life. On November 14th the Lord had me write my "check box list" during our Friday night date-night I have with Him every week and immediately said "he has a checkbox too, surrender to me this addiction" and healed me supernaturally from my ten year smoking addiction. Today is day 90! There were so many things that you said the Lord moved into your life that is confirmation of the same he has been moving and speaking into mine. It's Friday night date-night and the Lord led me to this video and I'm so thankful He did!
You sound exactly like me almost in every detail when you pray to God. My favorite lifetime verse is also Psalms 3:5-6. ❤️ There are ups and downs in the waiting process. Since I was a little girl, I would pray to God that I only want to date my future husband. My desire has always been to be under God’s will. So...I am almost 29 years of age. I’ve never dated let alone kissed a guy. I would also get upset when a guy would be interested, and I felt it in my soul that it’s the No’s. It is saddening and frustrating to give that NO. God spoke to me through pastor’s wife just days ago, and I got an answer in regards to my desire of marriage. The answer is not an answer that the human heart wants to receive which is that, God still wants me longer in the process (singleness.) That my future husband is not an ordinary man. He is a man with ministry. It is a bit of heartbreak that my wait is much longer than that little girl me hoped for, but I know that God will exceed my expectations in that future husband of mine. I need to continue praying for him and working in me. 🙏🏼
It will be worth it! I'm nearly 32 and I'm still not married. I've been single nearly a year since my last dating relationship and I felt like I really needed to break up. I've prayed about my future husband so much, and I'm getting to a point where im content with God's plans. All this to say- it's disappointing yes- I also wanted to be married in my 20s. But God's timing it better and I believe I'll be so glad when I meet him one day and it was worth it.

I have tried that in the past and I felt convicted. I know following what the Lord has in store for me is bigger and better then what I imagined.
Whoa. You and I are literally in the same exact situation to the year and age. Don't give up. You're so close if you continue focusing on yourself. Bring the best version of yourself into the next relationship.
Moral of the story: Get in covenant with JESUS CHRIST, learn what it means to surrender to Him & allow Him to teach you how to have what belongs to you in this life. .. Outside of that.. you won't get anything from Him. You must come truthfully being ready to be completely vulnerable.

Your testimony of how you trusted God to direct you to your future husband was inspiring. It caused us to remember how we met 40 years ago on March 28th. For many years prior to that meeting I, Kevin, had always celebrated the 28th March as a special day believing it to be significant even though I did not fully know why. Neither of us knew God when we met and still didn't when we got married but became Christians four years later. We met in a Night Club, that has all these years later, been turned into a Church ! It's a random word, and when my future husband meets me, he needs to know the word. Then I'll know that not only is he my husband, but he is at a point in his faith where he can tell a random girl a random word knowing that God told that to him without a doubt. I've never told anyone but God what this word is, and I never will until I meet my husband
I love how you really seek God's will in this decision. And I'm not the one who knows exactly how God speaks, but I would recommend reading the Bible about this. In my opinion it doesn't say that God communicates through codewords. Gideon layed out a fleece to test if God really was on his side, but this more showed his unbelief and his need for yet another sign. I hope you find a good man who loves you, but I encourage you to read up on this topic in the Bible.

For the past year and a half, I have been struggling with confusion relating to a Christian guy in my life. He seemed to be a perfect match for me in almost every way--except for doctrine. There were two foundational beliefs we differed on, but because he was such a man of God in every other way, I didn't think much about it. After a year, we finally confessed feelings to each other and started to "figure this thing out." We left it in God's hands, which ended up being the biggest blessing to come out of the situation. God started pulling us apart, and I hated that--but what I hated more was the emotional rollercoaster. Finally, at the pinnacle of all of this, I cried out to God: "Just tell me if it's a yes or a no already!" and He was like, "Child, I've been saying the answer for awhile now. But okay. Here's some more proof." Your video "randomly" showed up on my recommended list that day (which was only two days ago!). Not only did it give me hope for the future, but it confirmed that the answer from God wasn't a "maybe" but a solid "no." I finished the video, prayed about it, then called the guy and told him what I knew God was saying. It was terrifying and took a lot of courage, but the peace that followed was indescribable and full. Now that I have finally let go, I am so excited for the future and I know that when the time is right, God is going to speak to me like He spoke to you and tell me, "Yes, this man is your husband." I won't accept anything less and I know now that I won't need to, because God is CLEAR and NOT THE AUTHOR OF CONFUSION. ❤️ Thank you so much!

I agree with your thoughts on “hearing God’s voice” or when He speaks. I felt like it was hard to explain but you took the words out of my head. I too have been single for a while now and prayed to the Lord (after a relationship that was not His will) please keep me focused on You till that one You have for me joins in my focus. I don’t want to date around, I believe God will confirm and show me who is my God ordained husband in His timing. I am unbelievably content and satisfied in Christ. I feel no lack and that has happened when I put all my trust in Jesus Ann’s started prioritizing our relationship over EVERYTHING. I haven’t prayed much for whomever is my husband, but I will start being more intentional about that. It’s not reaching but it’s planting the seeds for how we will pray over one another as God is the head and our relationship should serve the ministry of the Lord. I teared up by the end of this video. I relate with your story somehow. I kept looking to fill the void in my heart in relationships with men only to end up being hurt or being the one to hurt them. 6 years back, I asked God not to bring any men who is not meant for me into my life and ever since that moment, I have not been distracted by any guy. It was hard, sometimes even frustrating. But i remember what I asked from God and find peace again knowing He got this. Looking back, I've really grown as a person in the past 6 years. I gave up some bad habits, found a purpose in life again and working towards it, my self respect is back, I take care of myself now more than I ever did. I'm happy with myself right now and my main goal is to clear an exam that ive been preparing for, not marriage. But lately I've been getting msgs and the feeling that God is telling me it's happening soon. I don't know if now is even the right time but i wont lean in my own understanding and my own plan but trust God to take the wheel of my life. I'm ok with anything as long as it's HIS plan. Besides, I think I'm going to clear my exam as well because God has given me and my mom good dreams about it since last year :)
Such encouragement and confirmation, literally a few hours after I prayed! I normally never look at these types of relationship videos, but today this video for som reason came up in my recommended and I felt like I needed to click on it. (I'm always curious to how other people hear gods voice). And just wow. I can totally relate to a lot if it. Like really desiring to be a wife, but at the same time not wanting a relationship right now. And also turning down people, because I just know. None of them are my future husband. Maybe sounds silly to some, or that I have too high standards, but I just know. And when you said in the end that God is working out the details-yess! I just remembered at the end of the video, that when I was outside this evening a few hours ago, I prayed for my future relationship with my husband. Like I want us to build the kingdom together, grow together, inspire one another, push each other to become better, have God at the center of our relationship and that I really learn to love. But at the same time I just don't want to date around personally. I want to be independent and I know honestly, that I need to grow closer to God before I meet my future husband. I have prayed that God will take away those "distractions", because I really don't need (or want) them now. I JUST WANT GOD! And then my husband can come when the timing is right.
I was reading your response and I am in that season of just wanting to focus on me. I do want to get married but I want it to be with whom God has for me. I still every now and then see someone that I am attracted to but I just remember what I have put up with in the past and focus on not my will but thine will. It is funny though how men will come out of the wood work when you don’t want a relationship. Just in the past two weeks I have been hit on four times but I made a promise to God that I would take until the end of the year to focus on me and date me. I cut off all my male friends but explained my reasoning and it has been so refreshing. I promised I would have those uncomfortable conversations upfront first if I eventually me someone but praying that I don’t have to date and that God will send what he has for me.

I love this!! God led me to mu future husband this past September. Jesus used every bad experience from my childhood to my early 20s to lead me to pray for my husband, and to give me the desires He has for me in a husband. ❤ It truly breaks my heart how people use the verse a man finds a wife, finds a good thing, (when you go out into the world and you're still praying for a husband; it's like they're saying you have to stay home for your husband to find you), and they say that God doesn't lead us to our husbands, or that Jesus doesn't have someone for us, etc. But, what they forget is that Jesus says multiple times, throughout multiple scriptures that we shall receive whatever we ask for in prayer and that whatever we sesrch for, we shall find. As well as He gives us our hearts' desires. I'm so thankful that the Lord never gave me anything that I wanted, but He made me wait for the man that is everything my heart desired. I truly feel like these women, need to really grow closer to God and to read their Bibles more. It's like they're telling and teaching young girls to give up on their faith and quit praying and going by what Jesus says for us to do throughout scripture, because it is the complete opposite of what He wants us to do.

This has been so encouraging!!! I only want God’s PERFECT WILL for my life! I’ve seen firsthand the damage that God’s permissive will (what He allows but doesn’t ordain) can do for everyone involved! Not that He can’t redeem even those situations but I don’t want to be presumptuous with God. I want to respect His leading in my life by Trusting & Obeying His judgment & His decisions for my life. He’s proven Himself trustworthy time & again. Trusting Him brings, true peace & freedom to just be who He’s called me to be! I just want to please Him in all things & the right person for me will respect that & have those same desires!

It's so difficult, and sometimes I wish God can just remove this individual from my heart 😢 but deep down I know that my God is not a man that he should lie, nor change his mind.
Almost 6 minutes in, and your testimony sounds similar to mines. I had already experienced God's voice and seeing him perform miracles in my life. However, January 2022 is when I started to see my relationship deepen more with Him. Where I am now, walking in faith, and seeking God's presence and guidance in every area of my life, is so intimate and intentional. I'm more aware of the process God has taken me through to become the kingdom woman he created me to be. He has such a beautiful way of showing you when he was listening, moving on your behalf, speaking through you, and being patient with your process. I often think about different situations where I would ask God to send me His choice of a Kingdom spouse, and looking back, I see where God initiated that in me at such a young age. Those aha moments are incredible, and I'm currently in the season of preparation for the things I've asked my Heavenly Father for. Also, discovering my purpose. I'm definitely excited and thankful to God for the insight and allowing me to receive visions about things that will happen and who's my husband 😉. I already love where this is going.
What a great timing watching this from 3years ago. I am a Catholic and have been following Christian life since 2022 but then I was distracted by a guy who I thought was a Godly man. My Christian friend even warned me but I got deceived by the love. I don't have any regrets but I got a sin because of that relationship. Now, I am coming back and really wanted to seek Him more and eventually also find a man that will seek Him everyday. A Godly husband that date to marry, respectful, faithful and a family man. That is how I hear God also, and I’m glad you said that and explained it exactly how it happens to me bc I lve been hoping that I wasn’t making it up if that makes sense. It’s like a thought like comes from outside into my mind but I know it’s not my thought and it’s not in the voice I normally hear in my head (the voice is almost ambiguous like it’s not verbally speaking but it’s still speaking), but I know it is intended for me to listen to and it’s usually an answer to a question or it guides me to do something, Ex: I am about to walk thru a doorway but a thought (God speaking to me) comes through my mind that tells me to go left and not through the door, and in my heart I know to obey.

Im a single lady 30 years old... waiting on God still... and all my surrounding has pressured me to find someone special but i knew deep down that if that man is from the Lord, he will come to me and pursue me without me having to look for him anywhere. I will just need to pray and keep serving the Lord whereever He placed me.
What u went thru is what i am goin thru now. I am goin thru series of changes just like u. From brokeness, God is preparing me to be that woman He wants me to be. I desire to be a wife and a mum more than ever b4. This is so encouraging to me. I subscribed😍😊
I love the part of your love story from the first video that God told you and then God told him. I'm glad that you didn't go back in to the restaurant or when you dated . . that YOU didn't tell him you were his wife. God revealed it to him in the same way that He revealed it to you. Your love story reminds me of Ruth and Boaz where Naomi guided Ruth to Boaz, as God would do, and then God revealed it to Boaz when he basically went through the process of marrying Ruth. I'm in a complex situation with a woman who I grew up with from childhood. I'm certain I'm suppose to be with her and for her but she definitely has fallen away from god. I pray for her often. I had a poor understanding of gods purpose for my life and I screwed up a lot. But because of this mess, I ran back to god seeking him hard because I love her so much. I've grown in christ a lot and it seems while I do, she gets further away from me. I'm learning how to intercede for her now and i pray god did intend for us to be together and still continues a work in us.
I just wanted to say that this is an awesome testimony and thank you so much for sharing! Also, as far as hearing God’s voice, the word of God says that we know a tree by the fruit that it bares. In other words, sometimes God answers us by allowing us to see that person’s CHARACTER or the LACK THEREOF Lol
I watched this many months ago and didn’t understand when you said “when there are Nos there’s a Yes” I’m currently experiencing the Nos right now and I felt it and finally understand! Waiting for the yes.

About a year ago or so I felt like God spoke to me about praying that He would prepare my husband, not me. He’s been preparing me for years. I have a heart for people battling addiction but it’s seems like everyone I’m either interested in or are interested in me have some type of addiction. That’s not what I want in a partner. But I was praying about it & I felt conviction in my spirit about my own addictions-shopping, social media, food…so he definitely wouldn’t be alone in that area.
I just wanted to say I really enjoyed watching this. I am in a season where I am with the wrong person and in my heart I know it's wrong. This gave me hope that there is someone out there and God will give you that when it's right. Thank you :)
Sometimes singleness is not a season but lasts a lifetime. I just turned 57 and have never been married. (Not that it's too late but a lot of life has gone by.) I have at times spent too much time with the wrong person but have also spent years not dating. I am Christian and grew up in church but feel I could have used some sort of guidance. I still trust God and have never been angry with Him - at least not consciously. But I don't think every life is meant to be a happily ever after story here on earth. It feels as if I was meant to struggle emotionally/psychologically to some degree in this life, and I look forward to my heavenly home, when the time comes. In the meantime, I hope I can still be used by God to bring comfort to others in various ways.
Yesss nothing wrong with it ,maybe look into adopting and also being single is not lonely it’s peaceful and I promise in today’s time your not missing out on anything. When you spend time with family or making friends and traveling it feels the void

I also have dreams and I have had them for years! Here lately I’ve really had it on my heart! I’ve turned guys down in the past and I have also ignored the signs. Wow sis this was so encouraging! Were so similar in some ways :) But thank you for this, this is definitely the season Im in rn. Praying my hearts desires but yearning, thirsting for MORE of God. I want nothing more than to be hidden in him, knowing him deeper. I just want to focus on Jesus alone! And I know everything will follow
And, God says that He uses everything for our good and His glory. Just like everything i went through growing up. Now, i wouldn't have wanted to grow up any other way because i knew it wouldn't have led me to him.
