Thank you! My brother was just diagnosed with cancer and his wife just had a baby three weeks ago. It’s a hard time and I pray this can help them. He’ll need chemo for 5 weeks, but paying rent will be tough since his wife is on maternity leave. Wish me luck, everyone! Best! 💕

You and your family are in my prayers. My oldest sister had full-blown cancer and the doctors laid hands on her and prayed over her and now the cancer is totally gone and she is healed from it in the name of Jesus as I pray that God will bless your family the same. 🙏❤️✝️

I listen to the whole video, surprisingly. I found the video pitch very informative. I guess people here, were expecting for you to show how it is done in the actually gofundme website. I just donated to a good cause,and was notified via email that they charged me $15(called it a tip) for donating$100. I have two problems with this(1) the amount is excessive to me(2) there was nothing in the donation process that alerted me about this charge or gave me the option to "donate" or not-it just shows they billed me after the donation. This more than pissed me off. I have no problem with gofundme needing to cover cost or whatever,but $15 is too much and I would like to know about it up front. Will never donate via gofundme again-ever.

Hows it going, I decided to comment under your comments hoping to reach you or anyone who can help and donate towards my $400 goal on my GoFundMe account towards a new laptop. I'm a music producer/artist/blogger and Unfortunately I accidently destroyed my entire laptop after leaving the studio from a somewhat freak accident what I'll consider. Very helpful but you should really have also included information on the IRS. There is a big difference between types of funds, i.e. some dental work for an individual, as opposed to raising funds for disaster relief. I'm sure they are taxed differently and you most probably don't know the intricacies. However, it should be pointed out that taxes MIGHT have to be paid on what is raised, besides just the two GoFundMe financial requirements.

Hello Salvador. Our home was highly damage by hurricane last year...we have not been able to do much because the bulk of the money went to new roof, whole electrical, whole plumbing, mold remediation, trash out and ac unit that can not work because the furnace does not match...anyhow...we need to raise money however here is the problem... Just a minor point: Don't say "Hey guys" at the beginning of a video. Lots of people do it, but it's not a good idea. People don't feel like they are in the plural when watching youtube videos. They don't feel themselves to be in a crowd. Say "Hey" if you want but leave off the "you guys". Minor detail, but it is something you should know if you are speaking to the public in radio, podcast, or video.

Would it be a good or bad Idea to make a gofundme for buying a car to get to work? Right now I work a part-time job at the local grocery store (no one is hiring full-time). I live with my parents and share a car with my mom who also works close to the grocery store so sometimes I have to part at her work and walk if our shifts overlap. It's not feasible for me to work another job because of my limited transportation, or for me to work in my chosen field which required a good amount of freedom to travel. So far, it will take me about a year of saving everything from this (pretty soul-crushing) job (i'm a very positive person and even *this* gets me down), while also keeping up with my student loan payments, to afford a reliable used car. Would this be something worth starting a gofundme for? my coworker suggested it to me since he and his friends use it sometimes with great success, like raising money for tuition to an expensive special needs school for their children, but my situation seems so mundane in comparison, though I feel like it's worth at least *trying* because either it works or it doesn't and nothing is lost.

I just donated $1000 to a gofundme campaingn for Tenley in Kelowna, Canada. gofundme charged me an additional $125 as a Tip. As I understood tip not optional. So now are fees: 8% plus 12.5% tip so : 20.5%? If so gofundme is getting a substantial amount above costs.

Who can help me manage a gofundme account?? Please i need help 😢. Its really difficult here and it's messing with my head. My family now eats once a day and i cant even afford to get basic repairs done to my house. Rain and mosquitoes keep us up at night. I am African, from Nigeria and I don't want to do anything illegal.
