Medium/Hard = soft compound to comply and grip. Medium/Soft = harder compound not to flex / chunk / break off knobs. Most like you did get it backwards, motocross tires are marketed and advertised by terrain type, not their rubber compound.

Yep hard habit to break from watching road racing as a kid. Still say compound when I know full well is not what I mean.

Its not a soft compound. Its for soft terrain. Not necessarily the same.
