A lot of people seem to be missing out on that fact that the "polka dot" patterned is reminiscent of like 80s style comic book prints. I am glad I hit on the shock drop because I can see these blowing up especially after the movie drops. I really love my pair and the pearlescent finish on the black patent leather is just chefs kiss.

Personally, I ain't missing that fact. Regardless, whether one knows that fact or not, the execution is just trash. Pure, unadulterated trash. I've had them in hand (hit the shock) and am glad to trade them, a pair of Bodega Dunks and some SB4s to my friend for some Solefly Art Basel's 1s.

I love these. Spider-Man means something to me, so these have extra significance. That being said, $200 for an AJ1 with no special box and no extra laces is a bs move from the brand.

I hit on these during the shock drop and after getting them in hand, I like them a lot. Very different, very fun, just shows it doesn’t always have to be a classic black toe AJ1, or a mocha, or a Travis Scott, or anything else that hype beasts chase.

Why do a lot of people tend to say the Origin Story was easy to get? It sold out everywhere for me upon release. Hot off the 2015 Chicago and 2017 Off-White, the Origin Story was obviously the next best option, and everyone who missed the previous two jumped in, so I don't see how it was easy, unless resale was relatively tame.

It was, to date, one of the weirdest releases. Sold out on snkrs app, but I walked in to a Jimmy jazz and copped a pair for me and my brother. That never happens. It wasn't even on display.

Dope review my brothers! The Jordan 1 is also my favorite silhouette! I think these are dope and definitely a must wear sneaker. I love what they did with these and how it coincides with the story/movie perfectly! The SpiderVerse AJ 1 reminds me of the year of the snake AJ 1 in reference to the different textures and patterns. In person the red pops more on these than the lost and founds, that iridescent ✔️ check broke my neck TWICE. Im 32 and usually wont do certain kicks but as a Marvel comic fan these go hard. Definitely one of them kicks u keep on ice in the closet to just stare n absorb the essence from time to time and never get tired of them.

I also think a lot of people are missing the point of the Spiderverse concept on the sneaker. He got it at the end of the video but that concept but the taking all of these materials to represent different universes to connect to the movie and it’s a dope collab.

I was surprised Buckets gave this shoe such a high score. I was sure he was going to crap on this shoe. I think it's excellent and a great tribute to the story. I don't remember your saying that the out soles glow, but I think that's awesome as well. I think this shoe will be just as hard to get as so many other ones. Resale isn't too bad now but it will sell out if not immediately, then in time.
