I went with airmax 90 chicken which is a yellow kick. These aren't needed in my collection. Would be wasting a Jordan 4 slot on some non essential Jordan's. I would never. Man here. I got airmax chicken for 90 bucks.

I let the sneaker gods, decide which kicks I get or don't get. I have more than enough to be satisfied. Everything else is a bonus. Plus, it keeps my pockets full. Cuz, I would legitimately buy every sneaker that I like(for retail, of course!).
I've been wanting these since they were announced. I just love yellow shoes, particularly yellow with black. For me these are a 9.5. Love the details on these. I too hope they will have lots of pairs out there so they won't be difficult to get. If it's a situation like the Air Max Bacons, all the better.

I managed to cop these on SNKRS day, really wanted to get them so was buzzing after the W! They're stunning in hand, the material feels like it'll crease up real bad with wear, but only time will tell. Only thing I'm not a fan of is the dark gray parts, I thought they would be darker, closer to a black. Still, sick sneaks
This yellow color way on a retro 4 is a GRAIL for me. The Jordan 4 is my favorite Jordan. They're easy to rock with my Wu-Tang and Clemente gear, among other fits. Straight fire. Even if I take an L on the retail drop, I'm copping resale.

Bruh i know you mean. I took an L on all my raffles and just ended up getting a pair on StockX. It's a very dope sneaker and the material is rediculously good. I'm not the biggest fan of yellow, but I had to have these in the collection.

I sold my brand new pollen 1s and bought these instead this is a dope yellow shoe. Swap with black or grey laces to match the sole and it definitely elevates this shoe even more.
Loved these in 06, never got em I had the tour yellows with the removable flight tag but these are a must cop for me. I think my plug got me for retail but I'm willing to pay resale for these and I almost never pay resale. To me these are a 9/10.
Black jeans or dark colored joggers etc I think would go really nice…these are a “happy shoe” for when you’re feeling up/good that day…earth tones for when you feel neutral…red for when your feeling saucy…and of course black af1s for when you feel violent that day
@@paigewillow8768 The original version had better materials according to people that had them. The Nike air units were filled with air, the midsoles weren’t stiff and actually compressed like foam, and the materials looked better. The new ones have materials that look like the old one, but they only have the look.
The grey ankle strap against the yellow is what attracts me. Then the black crowns to top it off along with the netting makes it pop. I love this shoe because you don't see this color combination very often. The materials are really nice and I mean really nice. Similar to the Travis 4s. Love your channel and the hard work you guys do .
I LOVE these, although it might have a little something to do with not being able to get them at original release but I still remembered wanting them pretty bad just wasn't willing to pay for resale for this particular pair but these won't get away from me this time around as I did with the DQM Bacons. back then i was more into doing my time(campout) but since we're in a time where for the most part you gotta pay more to score I've had to adapt. trips me out to think about how dropping $300 to $400 on Tiffany's seemed heavy at the time yet nowadays its pretty much standard to drop that much more even on GR releases but I guess you gotta quench the thirst somehow smh. now one thing I do wanna see them re-release those Foot Patrol Air Stabs, I'm curious to see what the both of you guys think about those...?

Also, they’re GR. I’d say they were a grail when they were Men’s only and I believe a Nike exclusive. Same thing with the Thunder 4’s; more limited and more money lol. Tour yellow 4’s ironically the best of the three in my opinion and they have yet to rerelease. “Rare Air”
I just don’t like 4’s that have the leather wings on the side and back tabs.idk why, i only like plastic wings and back tabs, which sucks bc I do like the colorway. Not sure I could pull these off though anyway. Good luck to all who are after a pair!
I have a used pair that was given to me. They are in good condition but I'm struggling to sell them because most people want to try to cheat me by offering 38 bucks especially when I saw on a blog that they go for 2,000 dollars brand new. If I can't rid of them in a week at a good price, then I'll keep them.
the comparison to the am90 bacon is exactly what I've had in mind regarding the lightening 4s. Hoping they're as easy to cop as the am90. Either way, for both I'd have been super surprised to be told I'd own both a few years ago
It’s because the original pair came out in 2006 alongside the “Cool Grey” Air Jordan IV. Both used many of the same parts. The original version was a Retro+ LS release, which was more for casual wear.
yeah true but now everyone will be happy to get a pair that was kept from them because of resellers and hype beasts if we didn't have those type of people in the sneaker community the OG lightning 4s would had went for less or other so call "hyped"limited releases
I'm not someone who would normally wear a sneaker with this color, but I really love the look of them in this yellow. Only thing I'm afraid of the shoes hurting my feet because I have wide feet :(

7.5/10 for me. Dope shoe. But its not a grail or anything. Very fresh though. Thought Buckets was gonna go lower he surprised me with that 8. Foamie going over 9 was surprising as well. I just copped the "Pollen" AJ1's today. So i'll probably go back on a long streak of L's. But I would cop these if I could.
I just got the Bordeaux 6’s with exclusive access on SNKRS. That’s the shoe I wanted most out of aug/sep. releases. Im gonna try for these 4’s but if I don’t get them I save $220. Win win for me lol.

At first I thought it was something to do with the yellow materials, because the UNC also had a specialty box and retailed for only $200. It might also have something to do with the shipping issues that have been plaguing companies. It must’ve cost Nike more to get them shipped.

I’d say top 3 jordan 4 colorway for me(behind the breds & white cements) just cuz yellow is one of my fav colors. Really hoping I can get this for retail, I entered 10 raffles for the pollens and didn’t win any smh :(
