Great review, I rock UA all day on foot. Not into reselling at all. No one on the street will be looking at your shoes with a microscope. The UA quality has grown tremendously. One small note though. The lighting comparing the two shoes looks off, like a filter has been added. You have to have both retail & UA in hand to make your own comparisons. Either way you have to be happy with your product.

I’ll take UA over paying resell any day. Good video. But retail pairs also have horrendous QC and flaws. Both have the same material. Just different flaws that even retails pair have.

At this point the only way to differentiate would be if one is made with real leather and the other with fake, but now it seems they are both made with real leather, so I’m going UA.

I get your point and I agree. I havent bought UA shoes, but I had so many retails with flaws, especially the sacais and the quality of these are so bad. If nike really uses premium and better material, the shoes will never cost 100 tot 200 dollars.

if your not in the buy and sell shoe business.. and just wana have sneakers in rotation.. go for ua.. nut if u plan on reselling or collecting.. then go for retail.. thats it..

Let me tell you something here the defects in the retail sneakers should be a clear indicator that UA sneakers and retail sneakers it is a minimal difference between the 2 these things are built by hand.. This is good old marketing at its greatest.. And we go back to a year ago when the Carmine 6 came out and the carmine red bled into the midsole.. And here's another example.. Goat selling low quality reps the rebellionaires 1s.. I saw that review done by Jacob Marcellus.. He was visibly pissed off

There are very few people who would be able to identify if it's a UA or Original pair on someone's feet. If you have a choice to save money and not a small amount but a huge one specially when it comes to Jordans then the smarter option would be to rock a UA pair and you can also make it your beater shoe as well😎

I’ve bought a lot of UA pairs and the only real difference you’d ever be able to tell is the box.. the shoes themselves never have big enough difference to justify the price..

It also depends on the seller you het them from and the batches you chose. I know sellers with batches that are 90-95% accurate. You can't beat that.

Comparing the boxes on Retail vs. UA is kinda funny. The only time a sneaker box is important is when you sell the shoes. If you bought a pair of sneakers that wasn't made by/for Nike then You wouldn't be selling them as a retail pair of shoes. So in my opinion you comparing boxes is just reaching and digging for issues. I also feel like you were just trying to find issues with the UA pair vs. retail. If the leather and craftsmanship is good quality, then I don't see the point of searching for issues... You stated from the start that you don't, never have, and never would buy Replica sneakers. You always bought retail, and wear retail. When you open your video with that statement, I knew what you would discover when you compared UA vs. retail.. for me, being able to brag that you paid $1k for a pair of sneakers when you could have paid a fraction of that tells me you aren't very smart.

This is comical when you really think about the UA vs retail talk. If you compare a retail pair to another retail pair you'll see a lot of different distinctions between them both but know one has never done that to my knowledge.
