Hi doctor I did ivf last year,they retentive 15 eggs out of the 15, 8 were frozen and the rest did not make it to last stage. After the egg collection the doctor told me to come back the following month for the transfer due to my body because i was weak so she said i shld come back the next month. After few weeks of the collection expecting my period to come it did not so i decided to visit the clinic and carry out some test to know why my period is delayed. The test came out i was told that am six weeks pregnant i was happy but after few days dt i was told that am pregnant i had a serious abdominal pain i went to the clinic to do scan the scan shows that i have twins but one is inside the ovarie while the second one is outside so i was book for an emergency surgery. Thank God it was successful the second baby was fine everything was good until when i was 5mnth old my water broke and i give birth to the child and he pass away immediately in August ever since then have been trying to conceive. Doctor what can i do? I want to try natural before going back for the frozen egg
Terrible. So sorry for you. Sometimes, when the water breaks in the middle of a pregnancy, it could be due to a problem called an incompetent cervix. Women with this problem may be helped by having a procedure called an abdominal cerclage

Hi doctor, we have been watching your videos recently, they are great help, much appreciated. We did iui last month and ivf this month, no blood tests were done before the ivf medication. 5 eggs retrieved, 1 has made it to day 2. 35yo history of infertility and endometriosis, good egg reserves noted during previous iui tests. Should the doctor have did blood tests for amh levels before administering ivf hormones?

Are there any otc medications or natural solutions to improve overall sperm health, especially motility. In 2015 my we had an analysis done and numbers were good but motility was poor. As long as your local IVF center can still do blood and ultrasound monitoring, you can do IVF with us by just coming for the egg retrieval and embryo transfer - a couple of days.
This is exactly I was looking for . I am planning for my second ivf, I have very poor ovarian reserve 0.84ngml. In my first ivf there were 6 eggs retrieved and 4 fertilised to blastocyst stage. Please suggest how can I improve the quantity and quality of the egg retrieved to make this a successful ivf cycle. FYI I had two miscarriages in my past conceived thru fertility treatment
Improving the quality of eggs is not possible. Getting 4 embryos that reach the blastocyst stage from 6 eggs is pretty amazing. Can't give specific advice unless you are a patient but discuss with your doctor
Jayashree Jothiprakash were all 4 not viable embryos? Did u transfer all of them and they failed? Ya 4 out of 6 getting to blastocysts is pretty amazing. I’m just wondering why they did not work? I also have very poor ovarian reserve and just trying to understand more. I would appreciate ur response.

I'm glad you brought this up. This study, from Dr Casper's group was an attempt to answer important questions about CoQ10. Unfortunately, he was unable to recruit enough patients for the study since patients just decided to take CoQ10 on their own instead of enroll in the study. The conclusion of this study showed "No significant differences in outcome were detected between the CoQ10 and placebo groups. However, the final study was underpowered to detect a difference in the rate of aneuploidy."

Actually I am having simple ovarian cyst 22mm,I have regular period. after 5month follow up meditation cyst doesn't disappear. We are planning for IVF. May I know what we have to do further to proceed?
