It was an interesting video. Watching your video kinda makes me want to go for diamond and really push for it this season I’m not that far away from it.
Really great video. The editing alone far surpasses 12k. And regardless the quality is high. As for your coverage, it was great! Really good video to get people introduced to the game
never heard of you, but i really enjoyed this video! congrats on making to so far in just one week!!! as a former diamond for 6 seasons, it took me around 2k hours to get it first time. also ive learned that diamond is just not fun at all. i stick to mid to low plat for the most engaging matches haha
as a person with only over 500 hours of brawlhalla I'm extremely impressed with what you accomplished with just only a week of playing? Like that is just massive dedication, you earned my respect my dude
@@crayon3828 im pretty sure that most people (with no experiance of fighting games) get to gold in about 150-180 hours in. personally i gust got into gold
As someone with over 1500+ hours in Brawlhalla, its insanely impressive that you got this far in a week. Also "All my homies hate lance" Is literally something I say to people all the time, now all the homies hate lance, not just mine. 'All they do is sair, dair, sair dair' and to that my friend, I say. *Welcome to Brawlhalla*
As someone who has 1500+ on brawlhalla and is a real hard stuck plat 2 i am at the point where I am physically scared of ranked you have given me the courage to try and rank today thank you
This video is impressive, truly impressive as someone who has played the game for several years and competed in major tournaments watching someone do things, that take many casual players several months to achieve, in just a day or two is awesome. The layout of the video is perfect and the type never before seen in the brawlhalla community. I'd love to see this go further!
@@unity2808 There’s nothing like a bad sig kit but Caspian has a lot of utility sigs and the force on gauntlet side sig is huge. Sigs kinda just depend on play style and whatnot so what’s good to me might not be good to you because our styles are different
I’m about 2/3 of the way through this video but as a long time brawlhalla player [(5+ years) with a peak Elo in 1s being 2167] this video is very entertaining and I think you’re a really good content creator 👍🏾 It made me think of all the grinding I put in this game and I hope you keep playing and hit diamond (if you don’t by the end of the video)
This is some insane stuff, well done my friend. I love brawlhalla and have a lot of experience so it’s incredible seeing it get some attention. As a person who doesn’t play lance particularly but doesn’t find it annoying, I can understand the frustration of all the landing aerials. When I play it I try and do it differently with more grounded options cos it’s more fun for everyone really. Sucks how a fun weapon can be ruined by the “optimal” way to play it. I’m hoping they nerf side air drift but buff some grounded options to even it out
I played Brawlhalla for like 10hrs with a couple friends back in 2017 when it released, didn't touch it since then. Still i'm here watching your entire video and it was a blast! Keep up the great work. The fact your video got in my recommendations is a very good sign, i don't play any brawlers whatsoever.
Bro, I'm a consistent diamond player but watching this video really shows me I need to focus more on improving rather than just playing (I noticed the same when I'd be playing for a long time, but only played experimental, I focused for a week and was able to gain 200-300 elo, amazing content bro keep it up!)
getting to plat in less than a week is already an admirable accomplishement, tis nice to see someone put this much research into the game even before starting out the challenge, u really tried ur best and that's rly cool to see
To anybody who is discouraged with their won improvement after watching Mirrorman's ultra fast improvement to high-plat within one week of playtime, please note that his growth is rather normal for someone like him and you yourself may have improved at this rate as well. First off, he has ALOT of time in other games like this so that definitely influenced his growth rate positively but the main take-away points are the fact that he only mained one character during this time of playing, and his positive mindset greatly increased his improvement aswell. When I personally played this game, I played with one weapon until my ADHD made me get bored and pick up another weapon, so it is apparent that even though he is high-plat with one specific, beginner-friendly weapon (katars), he himself stated how hard it was to start using a less beginner friendly weapon (gauntlets) and how he regressed a lot of elo after trying to use another weapon. Because of my ADHD I have become around the same skill level of high-plat with all of the weapons in the game so while his caspian may beat me in a 1v1, if we were to play random I would win 99% of the time. That is how it is when somebody only plays one character, they will improve fast but they will have a hard time overcoming bad habits specific to the character (like his dsig usage), so I see his growth rather normal from this perspective. In addition, his mindset of being positive while learning is also another reason why he learned so quickly. You'd be surprised by how much thinking smart with a good and clear mind will improve your growth rate, but words will mean nothing unless you just try it yourself. I mean, it was one of the reasons why Mirrorman grew so much skill so quickly so you should try it to :3.
I love the edit i was there all the week watching you and honestly u inspired me to try to hit diamond. Honestly i almost hit it today reaching 1980 but the game decided to place me vs Valhalla and 2100 players 4 games in row and that's how i get burn out and start losing but definitely see my self hitting it this season. Edit: I hit it diamond 2 season in raw in both 1 v 1 and 2 v2 .
I didn’t even mean to start this vid but it was so well put together, interesting, and fun to watch that I didn’t even realize I was 20 minutes in. Loved this content!
This video is actually what inspired me to hit diamond this week. after 1000 hours, and hitting 2.4 million xp on my account watching you play for a fraction of the time i have made me go “huh, something needs to change” and then boom i hit diamond so thanks man. also the editing style is super refreshing on brawlhalla videos.
@@FuriousKai yea I was mad inconsistent with school and Most of my hours were spent in experimental this year I been 2100 3 times so I think I'm improving at a steady pace now
I love your brawlhalla video. It was very entertaining by how you showed your skill from previous games and dabbed it on to brawlhalla they game i know and love.It really braught out my passion for video games and made me realise how fun the game can really be and makes me wanna push to diamond. Nd also helped me remember how fun the game is when you just try to have fun but i i gotta admit that i do get really competative tbh really hard to not be>Pls make more brawlhalla videos
man that was something else, it took me 1 year to reach plat and another 5 months after that to reach diamond. you really summed up and learned everything in a week which took me years but trust there's always to learn something new every day.
kinda crazy that you picked out probably the best weapon for beginners(and the entire game) and caspians katar sigs are crazy good. He definitely falls off in high elo bc of his lack of a kill confirm wo a read. if you keep playing i def recommend asuri. sword is the most consistent weapon in the game and she has less gimmicky sigs that u might be less inclined to spam. and in general learning how to play all of the weapons helps you learn how to play against them. glad to see u playing brawl
This is such a great video, I'm extremely impressed on how fast you progresed. I was able to hit diamond yesterday after 2 years of playing. Unbelievable!
Bro hit gold first day. Took me sooo long lmaoo Edit: I kept watching. WTF DUDE HIT PLAT DAY 2. It took me a year!!!! I grinded and watched every video on how to improve. Id already had thousands of games. I probably had like a level 50 nix by that time. And this dude hits it in 2 days. No fair! 😂 Edit 2: 1922 in a week??? Are you kidding me? I hit diamond maybe 2 months ago after playing for like 2 and a half years. This is ridiculous. If you keep this up, you’ll be pro by next Tuesday!
@@hotpocketdeity I’m still in plat wit about 2.4K hours, I don’t really play ranked and usually jus stop after hitting plat or I jus never feel like trying. Many diamonds I go up against are confused as to why I’m still in plat 😭
Aye. you gained my sub man! Not that im popular or anything like that. I just rarely sub to anyone. As a beginner, im impressed how fast you grow in this game despite how long ive played, first experience in my game was a total fail and it goes on for a couple week... im totally discouraged, but i guess trust the process? Well i mean, i saw ur vid and you've inspired me to keep going, but so far my progress is goind bad. You have a really great potential and someday you'll reach your dream, and we hope you do so, Goodluck! I really enjoy ur content.
Experienced player here! And first off I want to say you have made some impressive ass progress for one week. It took me a couple hundred hours alone to get to plat and many more for where you are at currently. Secondly I do have some tips for you. Watch out for how people recover back to wall as it is usually either a dodge or a recovery and punish accordingly. Learn some true combos on gauntlets as well and watch the gameplay skyrocket since your reads are already good. Lastly try to count your opponent's recovery options offstage and not just yours as it can help punish the recovery or dodge as I previously mentioned. Good luck!
i am highly impressed on what u was able to get and my ego is a bit hurt bc i am playing this game for so long and still stuck an 1800 elo but i didnt stick to it like u did. but anyways my honest respect for all of u progress!
i've been playing this game for like five years and its so fun to see how a begginer react to the things that im used to, hahahaha cool video bro keep improving
Man ran into the ranked Mordex player experience day 3... Mad respect for continuing to play, we all feel the same after dealing with that shit. I usually stop playing ranked for the rest of the season lol Awesome video and grats on 1922
Bro, that was insane and impressive. I'm playing Brawlhalla just for fun for 2 years. That's why I still stuck in low plat with way to many ingame hours. Maybe I should also practise more. Anyway, I loved that video
I have 2200 hours and 2100 Diamond elo in this game, it’s nice to see a video (a well made and produced one at that) of someone learning all the mechanics I’ve mastered over the years. Cudos to you man fun video to watch
Bro that was fantastic! Your mental strength is absolutely incredible 😂. As a long time hardstuck plat, I would've reached 11:50 after about 6 games in.
as a person with damn near 4000 hours on the game you’re improvement was crazy and the thing you did right the most was playing for long hours you get better so fast on this game if you just play for a long time you get so used to everything sometimes it feels like you can look into the future!
I thought it was just me who used to play ranked for 7+ hours with no progress but this video showed me that I'm not the only one who struggles like that. My peak ELO was 1987 around 2 years ago then I stopped playing after that but this video is definitely motivation to start again.
when i first started playing after my cousin introduced the game to me i was stuck in gold , every match i got sig spammed and that made me want to quit , im on plat now , dont really play that much , a few games here and there but watching your video makes me want to playing again and make the grind to diamond , keep up the good work man you're crazy at the game 💪🏿
11:15 yea, as a scythe player myself, I catch myself doing this over and over and over again and have to remind myself not too mid fight 😂 but, it’s crazy how you were able to get plat in TWO days! Sure others have done it too, but they have had experience with the game, you on the other hand, you are a different story. Crazy how much you learned in such a short time.
caspian was an insane pick. i have only about 30 hrs on the game but i tried mordex at first and it was a no go and then i switched to casp and it was like a godsend and i ranked up immediately
Watching this makes me feel bad about when i started playing brawl lmao. Im gonna assume that you're this impressive this quickly because you have prior experience with fighting games becuase if you're just starting off playing fighting games seriously and you're this good then im just insanely amazed. Great video
Watching this makes me want to play brawlhalla for the first time, I used to think of it as just a cheap smash clone but now I’ve seen a video on it it actually seems enjoyable
I cant. I cant. I wish i could have the mindset this mf had on a regular basis both in life and in this game. Like i cannot sit here and process this. EXTREME RESPECT TO YOU. On a monumental scale you took the bar and threw it off the stand you didnt just raise it. Massive respect to you my man. If every brawl player came in this game with the mindset you just showed this entire community would be different all around. I cant compete with that. I moat definitely dont have the patience. You're a king and im moat definitely glad i watched this video. I hope you continue to play and enjoy the game and shoutout to cosolix for taking time out of his day to enjoy the game with you. ❤❤
As a person with thousands of hours in brawl, I have to say, it was fun watched a from the perspective of a “noob” again, great video.

I got 2000+ hours in BH, my peak of all time is this season, with 1976 and you just gave me the inspiration needed to push forward, wish me luck not to find valhallans all the way through to diamond! lmao
This video inspires me to keep going in ranked and I’m only in gold 1. but I’m constantly losing elo and encountering spammers, diamonds, plats, mostly toxic players, and downright disrespectful players, and ive trained a ton and play like I should be in higher ranks but I guess the game thinks otherwise :(
This is spot-on the kind of video I've been dreaming of finding on RU-vid for years. Not necessarily in this game, as I've never even played it, but in general. Pure entertainment, with that much-needed sprinkle of skill I need to want to watch a video. I ever decide to go on a "per mil run" in this game, I'm definitely gonna follow your route. Well deserved like and subscribe from me. Keep it up, I loved it!
I think it would be cool if maybe you did a second week or like one month progress video it was really fun watching you improve and I think it could be helpful for other new brawlhalla players
