Seven years ago, I was blessed to attend the Gathering of the Saint’s put on by Pastor Fox and Pastor Dowel. We learned a lot, we prayed a lot, and we shot a lot of guns. Some of the best training I ever had, and some of the best fellowship I ever had. I will always be grateful for that experience an always recommend this type of training for anyone who can fit it into their schedule or better yet make it fit into your schedule. God Bless
My MAG did a 72-hour bug out where we lived out of our bug out bags exclusively. You are so right on that kind of experience revealing holes and shortcomings in what you might otherwise feel was a fool-proof plan. Great video. Thanks.
One must gradually increase their discomfort over a period of time to build toughness. Something as simple as turning the climate control off in your home during extreme temperatures will build resilience for most people.
Increase my disconfort... I can only take it in brief intervals. I'm going to resume my daily walks in 90s temps with a real feel of 100. Alaska is looking really good again, but we're stuck here in the south🔥 🥵
Just keep it not comfortable always to acclimate My system can barely handle it as I can’t regulate my body temp well But it’s what it’s gonna be It’s more for my kids than me as I’ll pass out or freeze up when subjected to outside in height of seasons with no break
@@linak7155 having lived in the Arctic of western NY No, Alaska doesn’t look good I’ll stay hot for a few mos in the Derp South I couldn’t go outside for 5 mos up there (cept btwn house n car n store n car lol)
Lived in Alaska outside Anchorage 20 years. Couldn't pay me to go back and live there. Crime and drugs just as bad as big cities. Cost of living is out of sight ($500k for an average house. Price milk and eggs and bread and you'll get the pic). If there was ever a supply chain breakdown, Alaska is screwed. Almost everything comes by truck up the Alcan or in by barge. You'd be cut off instantly in a crisis. Winter is long. Breakup is considered Spring and snow can start flying in early September. Everyone seems to have this romanticized view of living in the last frontier land, but the reality is much more difficult than people realize unless your independently wealthy going up there. No thanks!
Shalom PJ! Training, building knowledge, adding skills to become independent of the system. Liberating the oppressed through self sufficiency and trusting in YHVH. All the way brother!
There is a free training facility in San Diego, California and a place right next to Oceanside California. They'll provide lodgeing, food, weapons.... everything. But you have to sign a contract.
One area most lack training and practice in is improvised and expedient construction, which would support their infrastructure as well as small scale mfg at the farm/homestead level to support logistics and trade long-term. I have put much content in these skills online.
Been getting used to temp changes for a few years. And using camping gear which helps me focus on how little it really takes to survive the outdoor living. No good on self defense. Gotta trust Yah for that aspect. Lots of nuggets here but tons more daily on your Patreon channel. Thank you. Blessings!
Hello! You were in Special Forces? My husband was in SF back in the late eighties. He made it his life, and it turned into a huge disappointment. It seems like another lifetime now. In the midst of it, the Father called him, and he responded.
@@jeffboyd8964 I don't do social media, just watch some RU-vid vids and subscriptions that I follow. I don't plan on expanding social media or subscribing to anything else, not my thing and I don't have the time. Peace out!
We did: What was the plan? (usually summarized by a non-key leader with map or at sand table) What actually happened? (key leaders of various phases or tasks of op, with data from those special teams) What went good? What should be sustained? How can we improve, standard operating procedures (SOPs) need amended, critical gear failures? Anytime you 'leave the wire' this should happen.
@@farmingowl1 my family thinks I am nuts , I just get eye rolls or snickering except my Nephew in Ok City he told me when SHTF he is coming to me and won’t be empty handed or useless as he is ex military.
There's a Rhonda Patrick video about "optimal exercise" with an exercise cardiologist who talked a big research project on all cause mortality. My take away was that if you're able to start before 60 and commit for 2 years, you're able to "stockpile" some fitness for old age. Starting later helps slow the decline but was less useful. It seemed like a day a week of rucking and 2 days of high Intensity stuff (MMA, etc) would meet his prescription. But you've got to do it for 2 years straight to get the benefits.
Things are going to get so bad, I fear starvation after about the third or fourth winter of grocery stores being closed. Luckily I have five greenhouses, but there's no guaranteed that they will last because I will not be able to buy the supplies necessary to rebuild them because everything comes from China along with all the medication. We are headed for some dark dark times
Meat Rabbits. are the way to go. They can live on free grass and are quite and breed fast like... Well like rabbits😂😂 u want new Zealand whites or Californian or rex for the most meat. They are really easy to care for and if u had to hide everything u could keep them in the house and feed them grass clippings and veggie scraps
The Survival Tabs... I took two tabs per hour, six hours each day, for 8 days. Each day I had 3 Lt of water. I spent my normal 2 hrs at the gym each day. Road my bike to work each day and lost almost 6.75 pounds. I returned to normal eating for a week then repeated the 8 day program. Im 20 lbs lighter, Im stronger and I kick-started my metabolism. That was months ago as well. I never felt hungry during the 8 day segments. It was better than intermittent fasting for me.
if you have animals, goats, llama, or horses/mules. there is some special forces PDF's and declassified information on the google. Counter insurgence in south america. you may have to do couple clicky clicks to find it but it is there. Using farm animals to carry equipment-water n things is not new Learning is heavy work- but some needs to carry all the water and goats/sheep can drinks/eat about anything - Shalom
I AGREE. MY BROTHER AND I WERE IN AND I GOT OUT. HE WAS IN DURING IRAQ FREEDOM. HE TOLD ME ABOUT THIS. SAID ITS ANOTHER PART TO THE TRAINING. I WAS LIKE HUH. HE SAID THEY SHOW US ONE PART IN TRAINING BUT THIER WERE OTHER PARTS. BANNET FOR ONE. YOU BEING SPECIAL FORCES YALL ARE TRAIN TO TEACH OTHER COUNTRYS MILITARYS TO.
@PeterSsailing don't know, didn't do that one, but Power 90 took 35 lbs off me in two and a half months and I had abs showing first time in a decade. Just depended on how much work you put into it..
were special forces too special to use OPORDERS ? my experience with this "group" was no teamwork unless your sf, i disagreed then and disagree now- still like ya Pastor Joe and alse a big bear fan- dont see you much on youtube but its good to see ya- hurah
Owe you an apology. Years back we got into a spate over GOD. Well GOD has since slapped me in the back of the head. Now wish he would have done that sooner so I would have moved there.
