I've never played professionally but I've always played either as a goalkeeper and defender with my friends. For some time I've been playing as a goalkeeper and I love it. Watching talented goalies like you on RU-vid really encourages me to outperform myself and play better than the previous match every time. Thank you for the great content mate!
@@JoseReyes-ut3kb Hahaha, thank you for your encouragement mate! I've already decided to focus my time and energy on another field. Unfortunately you don't have the time to dedicate yourself to football when you're working a job/running a business/studying at university etc. I hope god allows me to play football as a hobby as long as I have the strength for it. Much respect to all the brothers who decided to be professional!
I love this. In the end, there's no winner, we're all keepers. We share a special bond with each other. Even in match, I sometimes hope to see an amazing save from my opponent. There's an unspoken comradery where we want to see each other win, but also fail. But in the end, we each know the struggles. Last line of defense = first one to blame. But who cares, we can take it. 💪💪💪
I wish you had made it pro but you still got time. You are talented and have inspired me to start trying this position. Wish you best of luck in the future. Love from a (half) Dutchman.
I’m 12 years old and I started goalkeeping about a month ago after watching your channel. You are amazing, and I hope to be as good as you one day. Also, do you have any tips for saving bottom corner shots or overcoming fear of diving? One mil is coming I know it :D
Tbh I expected the level to be similar bc of the physical superiority of males. Not taking it from either of you but I’m not surprised you won in certain areas and she won in other
Personally I think men do have certain physical advantages but goalkeepers like Lize in this video have some insane skills which can definitely give many pro males a run for their money! #GKFAM🧤🫡
I see Lize Kop signed for Leicester in the WSL last week. Looks good here and agreed with the fella about her freekick skills perhaps getting overlooked whilst playing in goal. I liked that race around the mini goals drill. Bit silly having the 'goal kick' challenge from the edge of the box but then aiming at a goal on the nearside of the centre circle - especially on such a windy day/a normal sea-breezy day for the Netherlands/the Low Countries. Likewise the drop-kick/side-volley challenge. Other than one short just before this, this is my first video of yours, after finding you as the top comment under one of Ben Foster's big videos. I don't then know if this edit is typical of your challenge videos, but seeing as you have multiple camera angles covered, could you please make sure the camera person focused on the kicker stays with the kicker and doesn't whip pan in an attempt to follow the ball, as that is covered by the cameras focused on the goal. And then to make sure in the edit, we can clearly see what happens with the kick, rather than chop-chop-chop, all over the place. Yes, yes, I'm sure a channel with 1.4 billion views knows what it's doing and doesn't need any 'advice' but still, it would make it a more pleasurable/knowledgeable watch. Also a bit of audio mixing in the edit to keep the levels even would be welcome as that was quite jarring at times with music suddenly blaring away, meaning I dropped the levels down only then to not hear the chat between you with the wind noise drowning you out, so needing to max the volume again and so on and so on for thirteen minutes. Didn't mean for my first comment on your channel to come across so moany/demanding, but there we go! I'm sure I'll check more of your videos over time, I've subbed, cheers from an ex-goalkeeper (retired three seasons ago now)...
And i reeeally need to say this: i loooove the fact you didnt put "female goalkeeper" thats amazing because i alwaya hate when they say it.. So thx And also thx for your content and btw im half duch/swiss❤❤❤
