Extra note for clarification: The first part of Crimson Moon's passive polearm characters can proc it. The issue is the restriction on the 2nd portion. Plus, most polearms (especially 5-star ones) also give DMG bonus or other benefits, making Crimson Moon an decent pick as a pure stat stick.

arlechinno banner. this is the first time i pulled without thinking whether is it necessary for my account or not. I pulled for arle and her weapon, purely just because i like this char. not only her demeanor, moves, animation but the most attractive one for me is the SCYTHE!!! i really like thatt huuuuuge scythe
Using her without her weapon will feel like Raiden Shogun without her Naginata, pretty much incomplete. I struggled so bad when i first got Raiden Shogun because the weapon i use then (The Catch) feel so out of place on her.
But with raiden, atleast her weapon changed to sword during her on field state (musou isshin). As for arlecchino tho, you gonna feel the difference more. Especially when arlecchino is a main dps, where most of the time you'll see her weapon.
No, BoL is its own separate mechanic that doesn't impact his shielding since his shield's additional absorption only scales with his Max HP (doesn't include BoL's value).
