How the hell does a 16 year old have so many highlights. He is ridiculous. I'm from the states, which means; he just got his driver's license and he still has 2 1/2 years of high school left. Makes me feel old and I'm glad he is part of my Barca team. I hope he lives up to his full potential!
In the States there's zero chance an MLS team would let a 16 year old play sadly. I think our Football culture is really underdeveloped and holding the sport back.
I mean have you watched any Barca games?? maybe on RU-vid he looks great but when he plays he makes a lot of mistakes, sure he's young and have room to grow. in a way he reminds me of dembele, he screws a lot ( last pass not that good, same for the crosses( its either to long or to short,) he needs a real club where he can develop to a beat but if he stays at Barca, he will ruin his potential.
@@LeoDube9 I have the same question for you, have you watched barca's games? As if you did you would know he is one of the players who creates most of the chances for goals, he is a winger so losing the ball is common, Messi also used to lose the ball a lot trying to create chances
@@LeoDube9no Barcelona has developed a lot of young talents .. dembele isn’t just it and they should have sold him since and shifty wingers in general have hard time in laliga has a whole but if he works hard and builds his body too he will thrive
It's just crazy the amazing stuff this kid can do at just sixteen on a regular basis.....what amazes me is the way he dribbles effortlessly. So most wingers depend on their pace, technique and balance to push through defenders..... however very few wingers possess all three qualities at the same time(just the elites). Most wingers are gifted with blistering pace but the draw back to this is that these kind of wingers are prone to injuries because they either put too stress on their muscles or because their dribbles are not "cultured" enough they can become targets from defenders and become victims to reckless tackles. An example of this is Dembele. However the elite wingers possess the aforementioned 3 qualities and do not depend wholly on their pace. The advantages of this is that (1) less muscle stress since they are not depending on their pace and their dribbles are calculated so they are not exposed to reckless tackles unless there are sinister intentions behind the tackles. (2)they are unpredictable because you don't know which of these 3 qualities they might use at a time (3) they can create a tons of viable chances because the opposition team know they are genuine threats and would try to put more player on them to curtail the threat while opening up chances else where. Example of wingers like these are Messi, saka, vini and of course this young lad... Yamal. If at 16 years he is doing this wait till he matures and he will be a monster
I hope he get that rodrygo and vini treatment ... coming on the bench as a super sub every match and play like 30 min every game that’s why they’re both world class tbh
It's unbelievable, I just can't believe my eyes. The guy is 16 years old. 16!!!He does it so easily, it's just amazing...What will happen when he turns 20?He is a future world and Champions League champion.I am glad that he is a part of Barcelona!
He is a very impressive skill player and not just a showman. On the contrary, he uses his skills in a very useful way and without any foolishness. In addition, he has football intelligence and accuracy in passing and shooting, and he grows more mature in every match. He also currently has the highest percentage of successful dribbles in the The five major leagues, at a rate of 59.8%, all of this in a player who was not more than 16 years old. This is certainly something very striking and no one can deny it. I hope that the pressure of matches and the heavy reliance on him will not affect him, And if he could avoid injuries, and who knows? One day he might be a first-team star or even a Barcelona legend... I wish him success❤❤
AND on top of that, the fact that ramos once walked to the field while holding his hand when he was little 😂 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hMfTWyr0OoE.htmlsi=Z7nrdExhj22NlMMp
He is a super player and next season he will the best offensive player in the LaLiga. He has come in time when the Barca needed him very badly. Go Barca
I am a madrid fan but this kid is a world class , he will be one of the best in the world , i hope he gets away from injuries and work hard, i don't remember a footballer at 16 years old was this so good .
I see him wearing that iconic no 10 barca jersey and terrorizing the right wing in next 3 years. Man! This guy reminds me of certain somebody and Culers you know who it is.
Just imagine this kid making those goal idk what I would say he probably would have the best season (which he is) let’s not put too much pressure on this gem !
Barça this season hasn't been at it's best because of all the injuries, but it also has given opportunity to these 'kids" to show they belong... Side note: Lewandowski has been what leadership looks like. Look at starting at @4:37 and how he guides him to where he needs to go for the play to have a better finish. He's also done this with Fermín and Vitor Roque. Guy is a beast...
No he is not far ahead of Messi no CR7 with 16 years old, individually nor technically. Don't compare this Barcelona, with Barcelona of Ronaldinho, Etoo, Henry, Deco, and could continue more. By the contrary I saw more from Messi and CR7 in Sporting with 16 in years old, not speaking in Pele, and others.
@@sergiopereira211 Messi was not getting that many first team opportunities at 16 but I have to admit that barca team was harder to make and remember Ronaldo did not make his mark until about 18 years.
Today, I am 18 years old and in the third year of secondary school. I feel old for what this boy, two years younger than me, has to offer. I think he will at least get 5 gold balls .
@@oaip1878 well he just had one of his best game in a Barça jersey and I apologize to the man! To be fair i’ve never seen him move like this with and without the ball with Barça. I don’t even care if he doesn’t always score/assist. I’m just tired of seeing entire games in which all he did was stand around and barely shoot. He needs to be the threat we know he is! Hope his form can continue and even improve!
Same here. And it’s not far fetched to say that he definitely learned A LOT from Messi. His decision making, runs, playmaking are that of Messi. Even his finishing is resemblant, not as sharp but he’ll 100% get there.
He's really good technical skills and last two matches he's showing good finishing skills too. He reminds me of riyad mahrez. Good pace and really good dribbling skills and powerful shot too. Future is bright barca.
Few people pay attention to how he leaves the ball on time. His overhangs and through passes at the right time say a lot about his football intelligence in general. He's not just another talented dribbler. He's special. His arsenal of action is incredibly huge for his age. This stands out from the same Rafinha, who is more predictable, and from the same Dembele, who made bad decisions at a key moment (for example, he could give a pass where it is necessary to shoot, he could shoot terribly instead of a pass)
He’s already better than Dembele ever was and he’s only 16 . You don’t even worry about him losing the ball .. it’s scary to think what he’ll be like when he’s like 25
His development maybe hindered by playing too many matches yet hes still young . This lad should always come in a substitute unfortunately without him in the field then theres no creativity for barca
Nope, the only comparison is that they're both left footed nothing more that they have in common. The playing styles of both are completely in opposite direction. The most realistic comparison is for him to be compared with Neymar.
I feel like this is the guy that can replace Neymar in Barca he kinda plays like him but if he stays disciplined he will be even better and win ballon dors not tryna compare him to Messi but watch out this guy is special he has potential to be one of the goats of the game
I don't get how he has this much physical strength at 16 years of age that is insane you see 16 year old youth players everywhere and they are skinny like a feather even the ones of African descent
If he keeps up then he’s definitely a better replacement than Dembele! Not sure he uses his right foot as well as Dembele but finds creative ways to go by players…seems just a little more quick with his decisions especially the clips and who he played them to. Pray he stays healthy
