Paqueta at Lyon was a dribbling machine, deployed as a shadow striker and he scored and assisted a lot of goals, I'm not sure if Moyes understands his style of play
The way he said, "Paquetà's goal numbers from last season from open play were pathetic." sounded harsh because of the choice of words used 😂😂😂 The whole goal threat part sounded like an attack rather than an analysis, but the analysis is true thou 02:37
Negotiations with City collapsed, great timing 😂 blessing in disguise though, he flopped at Milan… Your video with Alex Goldberg was good too. Dope to know you aren’t camera shy. Keep collaborating and networking, wanna see you make it big. There’s a lot of Chels content creators, probably more than any other club, hit them up!!!
Milan was his 1st move abroad & he was their highest transfer at the time. The pressure got to him, he's human. Since the 2nd half of last year, he has been killing it at WHU - A fantastic talent.
Great video as always. Took the words right out my mouth on hos creativity even though his is very good (especially in the left wing and half spaces ). It is weird that Man City and Liverpool aren't trying to get him especially man city that dealing with De Bruyne's fitness issues. Please can you do a video on abde ezzazzloui? We couldn't get Leao and Sadio Mane. So at the moment he is our left winger.
Honestly, this video's timing couldn't be worse because Paqueta is currently achieving the best form of his career. Just take a look at what he did against Liverpool in the last match, and you'll see that he was one if not the best player on the pitch. I also think there's a crucial point missing here: the players surrounding him. It's not really fair to compare him to KDB, Odegaard, or Salah when West Ham often has only 20% possession, and the team lacks mobility. A more fair comparison would be with someone like Wirtz, who plays for Leverkusen. And let's not forget that Paqueta is currently leading the Premier League in tackles won, and he's often playing as a left winger (lol) just to fit Soucek into the lineup, and he's still excelling. This guy can play in almost any position and still look fantastic. But yeah, don't sign him. I'm pretty sure us West Ham fans would be over the moon to keep him for years and years, haha!
@@bestfullyy i mean he literally has a full analysis of how he understands pacqueta with "no real understanding of football". instead of just saying all these empty words, where's your analysis?
I tell you 1 thing if you want someone who can make a killer through ball in the last minute of injury time in a high pressure euro final he will more than do for me C.O.Y. l ⚒️✅👍 stick to the day job mate 😂
Great analysis mate! I think he’s being majorly overrated personally, nowhere near the level of even a Payet for them. If I were City, I’d be putting my faith in Palmer and seeing how he develops over the next couple of years or so with regular game time, especially with five or so years on Paqueta too. Seems like a no brainier for me!
Strange criticism of his attacking performances since its quite obvious that he plays for west ham, in a pragmatic and negative side, who's attacking prowess comes from vertical passing and movement so ofc he doesn't have much to show, but not because he's deficient, but more likely because he exists in a system that doesn't need that part of his game, nor does it grow it through volume
every time he's played against my club he's caused havoc. maybe his name and image undersells him in terms of global marketing but he definitely has caught my eye
Hi, I like your videos and have been binging for ages. Your videos are very educational and I have learned so much. I have a recommendation, what if you put similar players to the subject at the end of the video? Thank you sir.
I see paqueta's best position as a left sided 8 who likes to play out wide, but his problem is that he isn't good at dribbling and I am sure he will have an issue against teams that mark their opponents tightly. He really needs to learn to control the game from a central position.
You completely underestimate the fact he plays for WEST HAM and are constantly comparing him to players from real madrid and Manchester city. Its way harder to score when you are the highest threat alone, and its whey harder to find a good pass when everyone else on the other side knows that it can only come from you. A lot of times he scape from a pressure situation is because he got the ball and two or three players came at him. You just cant do this against real madrid and city.
Think you're also underestimating that when some players go to a bigger side and the game isn't build around feeding them, they actually find it harder to score. It is a nuanced issue which isn't always clear cut.
The depth of this channel is unreal. What other channels have this kind of analysis? Genuinely hope pythagoras in boots keeps growing and starts doing some match analysis
he doesnt dribble alot tbh, doesnt mean hes bad, hes got elite ball control, he does alot of passing. Whereas Debryne and Belligham do dribble alot. Esp in counters.
Talk inside of Liverpool was that Michael Edwards and Ian Graham had put Paqueta forward as the ideal midfield target before he left Lyon. Klopp ended up vetoing the move saying Liverpool did not need a midfielder but Paqueta impressed the best Liverpool recruitment regime Liverpool ever had. The fact that Man City pursued him this summer leaves me believing he is special.
Great analysis. Probably not something worth mentioning but I can't say I'm taken by his character. Very few players get on my radar as someone to avoid - apart from the obvious ones like Fernandes, but Paqueta is another one who, no matter what the level of play, I'd just rather not bother with.
with Man city signing Paqueta does it mean that Pep does not see Foden as midfielder? and do you Foden would have been much more valuable asset for England or Midfield?
