In this video, Billybob grades the Dark Prince in Clash Royale. The Dark Prince is arguably an underrated Clash Royale card, as its area damage plus its charging effect can create a real headache for opponents. Not to mention, the Dark Prince's shield gives it spell protection. Though it does not fit in every Clash Royale deck, the Dark Prince can fill a valuable niche. For these reasons, Billybob recommends considering the Dark Prince inside of Clash Royale.

Hands down the Dark Prince is my favorite card in the game for both his sheer versatility and aesthetic. He’s in my 5 cards that I always have at least one of in the decks I make, those being; Knight, The Log, Musketeer, Baby Dragon, and of course Dark Prince. He works wonders in almost every deck archetype on defense, offense, and punish.

I think the dark prince needs a shield buff. Or the skelly king needs a splash nerf. I'm my opinion, it's a solid A for a grade. Can't go wrong with a dark prince if you aren't level 14 and you don't have skelly king yet.

Valk and Dprince are still doing plenty a skeleking cant. For example, the shield, and jumping over the bridge make princes uniquely good at river sabotage/general offense. Valk got the 180 atk, & HP total. Also easier to put in the back, like skeleking But yeah, skeleking is much closer to a wincon and is easier to deal dmg to towers.

Great in GobG beatdown decks. And great in midladder. It can take care of so many cards and can still kill Skarmy while attacking

@@19ExodusHDthe Dark Prince and Poison are my two most consistently used cards in the game. Rn I am running a GobG Sparky Deck where the Dark Prince and Skelly King are used. Might swap out the Skelly King with the Valk if the Evolution is as good as expected

The dp is still good, less the a few months back but still good and if goblin drill becomes very strong again my guy will become an absolute beast like before, as a result since the dark prince is my favorite card I really like goblin drill and I hope it comes back/ gets a small buff

Good vid but I feel like comparing cards to champions is unfair. Is every ranged unit not worth using because archer queen? No, so not every splash mini tank is bad because of skele king

Queen is a different story. In almost all instances that dark prince can be used, the skelly king can be used in place. There are many decks that queen is not the best option for a ranged unit. Double prince is about the only one dark prince has

Dark prince plus tornado is a literal win con and nobody knows it, since he has dash like prince people try to use distractions or cheap tanks and then forget about it, but if you tornado to tower you can do 1k plus. Easy trick to save for the end of a close match
