Dude went to every promotion and showed his worth. He went to WWE and adjusted to their style almost instantly. He truly is one of the best to ever do it.
For his first year in WWE, the guy exceeded all expectations and showed that he's more than just an 'InDy DaRLInG', and that he truly is phenomenal ! no pun intended
remember when he slipped on the top rope and fell over. It's the best fall over i have ever see. Even the commentator was like, he even falls Phenomenal.
AJ Styles is without a doubt, one of the greatest technical wrestlers in the whole world. With a journey that has been so diverse with companies and opponents, such as John Cena in WWE, Samoa Joe in TNA/Impact, Shinsuke Nakamura in New Japan, Bryan Danielson in Ring of Honor, and so much more, he’s definitely done it all. Win championships, main event shows, he really has showed why he’s a legit GOAT. Although I would love to see him in AEW, his WWE career has thankfully not been a waste, and if he’s happy, then I’m happy. Before he retires, I really hope he has dream matches with the likes of Edge and HHH, and while we may never get him vs HBK, I’m glad he was the last opponent for Undertaker as their boneyard match will forever be a classic. Man, AJ truly is phenomenal! Excellent video, bro!👌
AJ STYLES 2016 ROYAL RUMBLE debut never get's old it still gives me goosebumps. He single handedly saved WWE from 2016-2018 when he arrived. We want some AJ STYLES dream matches from EDGE, HHH and KENNY OMEGA if forbidden door open's.
Its crazy to think that AJ debuted over 6 years ago, I remember being so hyped when he came out even though I had never even watched him on the indies back then, I just heard so much about him and he did not disappoint. AJ might be the last WWE debut that really got me hyped like that
13 years in TNA 2 years in NJPW 6 years in WWE In 21 years he globe around the world and wins many championships after championship. You can't deny he is G.O.AT or diamond of pro wrestling
I had not watched wrestling for years, I decided to tune into the rumble bc I was bored and out came Aj Styles, never did I think I would see him on a WWE program. I instantly got back into wrestling. My mom and I watched every week for the last years of her life. I will always have great memories from this time. Thanks Aj for bringing me and my mom so much entertainment over the last 2 years of her life. RIP Mom. 2-17-70 -- 6/1/18
It's still crazy that it's been 6 years since AJ joined WWE. I remember the chills I had when he debuted at the Royal Rumble WWE Championship match at #3. As someone who watched him in TNA Impact Wrestling, I didn't ever think he'd be in WWE. Then, when he won the WWE Championship 9 months later, I was happily dumbfounded. It's still crazy insane. I seriously hope he gets one more WWE Championship run before retiring.
As a kid who grew up with TNA (mostly due to it being the Wrestling Show on cable in the UK for quite a while) seeing AJ Styles WWE run was just awesome to see. He went from this Cruiserweight Guy who puts on great matches, to someone who can go toe-to-toe and beat the likes of Kurt Angle and Sting, to leader of probably the hottest wrestling faction in years to becoming a Grand Slam Champion in the WWE. AJ Styles has probably had one of the best Wrestling Careers in recent history and is a personal favourite of mine (probably 2nd to Kurt Angle), truly a phenomenal once-in-a-lifetime talent!
I started watching WWE in AJ’s first year, but when he went to SmackDown he was AMAZING! He took the opportunity with both hands and became WWE Champion and had an awesome run! He even had a fun match with Shane McMahon at WM 33! AJ’s first year was great!
2016-2017 was probably the best time for me as a wwe fan ,and I miss so much that time , but important thing is that no one can bring that time back and we have to look forward
Man that period of time when SmackDown Live was so great late 2016-early 2017 🔥 AJ Styles himself, together with Cena, Ziggler, Miz, Wyatt, Orton, Ambrose, Corbin, Shane and Bryan (as GM),...they made SDL incredibly worth-watching 👍
I thought it was great and a perfect way to introduce him into the WWE universe, his feud with Chris Jericho, Dean Ambrose, The Miz, John Cena, Roman Reigns, James Ellsworth, man they were all so good and very entertaining and well done in my opinion.
AJ's run from 2016-18 was phenomenal and he proved himself to vince, his best feud in wwe was against cena he also putted styles over big time AJ recently said that he wants to wrestle cena one more time before aj's retirement and AJ's feud with samoa joe in 2018 was underrated and in this case I can say vince did a great job he pushed styles perfectly and still he is doing great in mid card division I really hope AJ gets one or two more title reigns before he ends his career.
I fully agree his matches with Joe were good to great but their storyline and promo's were excellent. It's just a shame that WWE kept putting him in the middle of the card when he very well should've been headlining it.
Can't believe people are over here on twitter saying AJ Styles hasn't been treated properly & that he's buried & he's a jobber & he should go back to Japan or impact where he will be treated properly & utilised better. This guy has had 6 years & already has had a Hall of fame worthy career BY FARRRR. Already one of the most successful wrestlers in terms of accomplishments & accolades & even matches in just 6 years. This guy is one of WWEs biggest stars & has been for the past 6 years. He has been treated incredibly well & has been utilised greatly by WWE surprisingly. AJ is one of WWEs top talents & has had a Phenomenal career no pun intended & I hope we get AJ Edge at wrestlemania. Just because he decides to help new young up & coming talent like OMOS for a year & put him over while AJ is in his mid 40s & has nothing else to prove and is already a big star doesn't mean he's buried. He even won a championship with OMOS. AJ will definitely have 1 more world title run in the future aswell. The guy retired undertaker in the main event of wrestlemania 💀
"When it comes to Hollywood, you will NEVER be as good as The Rock" "And when it comes to this Ring, you will NEVER be as good as AJ Styles" BEST QUOTE EVER
well cena is a better actor than rock he might not be big like him in hollywood coz rock is doing movies for decades but in terms of acting cena in better and he is also not better than styles in terms of in ring work but as a superstar he is way more famous than AJ literally everyone knows him.
AJ Styles have always impressed me with his great matches and mic skills. I didn't knew about AJ until he debuted in WWE. It was just one year of me watching wwe. When he debuted I always felt ,he is going big. AJ Styles will always be my favourite💜💜💙💙
It was amazing ! AJ Styles made his debut in 2016-2017 and he was already the best wrestler of WWE without hesitation. In 2016, his feud with Chris Jericho was pretty good, he gave to Roman Reigns some of his best matches, he had a tremendous match with Dean Ambrose at TLC, his matches with John Cena are true classics at MITB, SummerSlam and Royal Rumble. In 2017, he had a great match with Shane McMahon and believe it or not but I think it was the MOTN. 😂 His feud with Kevin Owens was pretty good but could have been way better especially for the WWE title and he finally became our saviour for dethroning Jinder Mahal in decent matches and a decent match with Jinder Mahal is GREAT ! Thanks to Vince for trusting AJ Styles, he did the best choice possible.
Man, I really love your storytelling. Things that I've either forgotten or flew under the radar are woven beautifully in story. Big ups.... I never expect to completely watch any videos but time passes by when I'm watching yours, and then I'm left wanting more. Good Job brother.
I don’t need to express much of words of Aj styles! He brought smackdown to life it even passed the A show Raw and for me 16-17 he was also the face there and that is when cena started to part time sometimes also. I loved the feud Ambrose and cena and AJ! I may have not followed him before but in wwe he was incredible.
He has been a World Champion in every promotion he has been in. He's amongst the very best to do it. Ever. Along with D-Bry, he has to be the greatest American Wrestler of the last decade.
Mate, I wanna say: Great channel, really. I've said it once, I'll say it again. You, mate, are, imo, on the level of Simon Miller and Adam Blampied. And they are my favourite internet wrestling personalities. I have watched all your videos and loved them. Please, don't stop creating such an awesome content, cuz it really is great and entertaining. Thanks for the great work and keep it up. One love ❤️
@@SuperkickStudios I really hope that it helps, man. If I could, I would help in any other way, cuz ya deserve it, but currentlly that's all I can do. Really love your work. And that comment is as much for appreciation, as it is for the alghoritm and I hope it helps too. 😘 One love ❤️
11:48 it's worth mentioning that this was one of the fewer times that two babyfaces had a "strain" between them unlike the typical feel-good vibe. I'm talking about Cena and Ambrose.
AJ Styles has (Pardon the pun) been Phenomenal in WWE. Not only did he have one of the best debut years in WWE, or maybe wrestling a s a whole, but put on great matches and showed why he is one of the best. Truly a shame he didn't come sooner, but then maybe it would have been different
He put on all five star matches from Jericho at fast lane, Jericho at mania, payback with reigns , extreme rules with reigns , mitb with Cena summer slam with Cena , backlash with Ambrose, no mercy with Ambrose and styles it was all PHENOMENAL 😍😍😍😍COMPLETELY AWESOME
U missing big information! Stone Cold was the reason AJ got utilized correctly!! He was going to get booked as a mid carder after that lost to Jericho after Mania but Stone Cold checked Vince and reminded him of who AJ could be in WWE and then they started booking him right!
My favourite matches of AJ STYLES: 5. AJ STYLES VS JOHN CENA (ROYAL RUMBLE 2017) 4.AJ STYLES VS KAZUCHIKE OKADA (NJPW DOMINION 2015) 3.AJ STYLES VS DANIEL BRYAN (for vacant IC CHAMPIONSHIP 2020) 2.AJ STYLES VS SHINSUKE NAKAMURA (NJPW WRESTLE KINGDOM 2015) 1.AJ STYLES VS CHRISTOPHER DANIELS VS SAMOE JOE (UNBREAKABLE 2005) AJ STYLES is a true veteran of pro wrestling, wins many championships in many different promotions he was top guy in WWE when he arrived hope he would hold WWE CHAMPIONSHIP one more last time.
Arnav,Panther,Atharva I consider this even better than triple threat(aj vs joe vs daniels) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GL3FHvJPpls.html
Watching AJ years ago on TNA fighting for the X division title against Joe and Christopher Daniels to No.3 in the Rumble and eventually WWE champion was insane. Was always my first favourite wrestler and probably is my favourite of all time. Very happy to see him doing well in WWE, just wish he gets a few more Main event spots before he eventually retires. Hopefully he’s back from his broken ankle soon. I’d imagine the Raw after Mania would be a good day for him but man i’ll miss him at mania if that happens.
His Match at Summerslam against Cena was one of the best matches Ive ever seen. Its one I always recommend to people who dont know if they want to get into wrestling.
Right now I’m rewatching smack down live 2016 and I’m on AJ title reign and onto the triple threat with dean and Cena 😂Maan just watching you videos brings a smile to my face and smack down is coming to my city on July 8th gots to know I’m going to see that man and it’s Roman double champion right now Maan I’m so ready.
i don’t watch wrestling anymore but his debut will always be one of my favourite moments in wrestling history. i remember freaking out like it was yesterday
AJ Styles was that one guy in pro wrestling that can go anywhere make 5 star matches be a top star, top guy,a leader, and a phenomenal champion. He will be one of the greatest superstars in WWE History.
2016 2017 2018 was the last great years of wwe too. If you look back on the roster and the product through those years. specially the smackdown live. Also the nxt takeovers matches during those years as well. holy hell. imiss those days.
14:35 that svr segment is one of the best of all time, i've rewatched it countless times and lost it every time jericho went "what the hell is that?" and the camera panned to ellsworth, also ended with a classic brawl
