Transportation is the number one source of planet-warming emissions in the U.S. A new project from Google is using AI to cut down on stop-and-go traffic, which in turn will help reduce emissions. Ben Tracy has the story.

Ok, Google’s Project Green, sounds a lot like what my friend and I talked about over twenty years ago in college, basically, larger cities seem to have designed traffic into their system, and we noticed that you would always catch a red light with no real movement of traffic, good for Google, now maybe cities will focus on moving traffic, on keeping traffic flowing with the help of AI

Google Maps has gone to 💩, most often i take my own way and save much time and gas. The routes they give me often leaves me flabbergasted. Complete opposite of what this video claims for sure.

But mostly AI is good fighting crime. Once the Republican Party puts it up to a vote I am sure America will have no problem voting for it. A social credit system can deter crime before it even gets started. We need cameras at every intersection and facial recognition wherever we go… Better safe than sorry.
