Sprinkle *soda crystals over burn stain and cover with a small quantity of hot water and leave to soak. *(same store shelf location as detergent and cleaning products).
Fr. Shit didn't do anything lol. We use soap and water if it's bad and put it on the stove and it works great it usually takes away 5-10 min of scrubbing of this makes no sense
All adding baking soda does is neutralize the acid that's actually taking up the crud. Try it with vinegar, boil until nothing is left and scrub with warm water and soda
@@adamcg1112 Even after doing all that you have to scrub the shit out of it, but you think that a little fizz fizz is doing anything? Please tell me you ain't that dumb
Why dilute the vinegar? It will work better more concentrated. Also the baking soda will just neutralize the vinegar making it less effective. You would be better off just using a paste of the baking soda and a bit of water and use that as an abrasive to clean the pan.
Never tried it this way. My Mama always put water in with a drop of dish liquid, heated it back up, then after hitting a boil, dump & clean. It's worked so it's what I've been doing. Might try this to see the difference if any. TFS
Baking soda first Then add vinegar / apple cider vinegar (Both work fine) Let it sit for a few minutes, no heat necessary You should be able to just wipe it off
I agree Barkeepers friend takes rust out, cleans metals like discolored brass or copper and Silverplate. Tarnished metal jewelry used sparklingly works also.
Quick tip, citric acid, the one you use in cooking sometimes, one tb and cup of water, bring it to boil, turn it off and leave for couple hours.. wash and enjoy
I have found the best method is skip the vinegar. All you need is water and baking soda let that baking soda simmer, turn your heat off let it cool and use a simple, scrubby brush. Whisk it around a few times, and it should remove the majority of it. If you have scorched hard, food debris then you just repeat that a couple times more with the baking soda. No elbow grease involved.😊
Just use the water and baking powder and simmer for a few minutes and let it cool. It will come off without any scrubbing. By adding vinegar and baking soda, you’re only neutralizing each. The bubbling action might help but simmering water does that anyways. When you add an acid and a base together you end up making water and a salt so it’s not doing anything.
I have an easier method. Sprinkle Bon Ami powder to cover the stain. Let it sit as long as needed so that when you rinse off, the stain could be washed off by wiping with a sponge with no elbow grease.
use a box of baking soda and a half a cup of vinegar mix it up and put it all in the bottom of the pan and let it set for about 30 minutes and then scrub
You can just use regular vinegar. Distilled vinegar has a higher concentration of acid, but by adding 4 cups of water you just dilute it to standard vinegar.
Hey love just curious.. I've got pots and pans that are very similar to yours and my son and I have either scorched or burned burned things in them a few times and literally just take a little bit of hot water, Dawn dish detergent and a scotch bright sponge and some elbow grease takes it right out so I don't understand the purpose of the baking soda and vinegar I'm sorry I'm not trying to be a smart-ass I'm just curious
As people have already said, the baking soda neutralizes the vinegar and essentially just makes salt water. Just boil water in the pan to loosen it and give it a scrub. That way you don't risk eating away at the enamel with the vinegar if you leave it in there too long before neutralizing it.
The vinegar is an acid, which you are then diluting with water. Then you add baking soda, which is a base and neutralizes the vinegar. So now you basically have a pan full of water. Then you HAVE TO SCRUB YOUR HEART OUT which is where all the work happens. So really, you're just spending forever scrubbing your pan. Get some dish soap.
Try boiling water in the pan with a little soap and just baking soda, the baking soda will act as an abrasive. This is how my mom gets baked on crud off her cast iron skillet.
You're actually neutralizing the acidity of the white diskilled vinegar with the bacon soda cutting down the performance of it to 0 I'm a mechanic and Arm & hammer bacon soda neutralizes battery acid plus I learned it in chemistry class in High school
You just basically wasted a bunch of time boiling water and then scrubbing the stain out. All you need to do is pour a little vinegar on it full strength at room temp and let it soak. That would loosen up the stain a lot more than boiling it with water and baking soda.
why are y’all so heated over a little pan cleaning video 💀 “go and buy a new one” WHAT🤣 who just buys a new expensive pan anytime it needs to be cleaned?? “that’s not the same pan” the reaching y’all are doing is CRAZY
Wow, people did tell her to buy a new pan? Here where i live all are crying over inflation and stuff and peeps on the internet just buy new Stuff when they made it dirty, wtf xD.
Warm the skillet lightly wet it then add baking soda and use a Teflon scrubber … also make sure you don’t have a hot spot when that burner is concerned.
@@positively_paige good lord why do people think you would lie about a PAN being cleaned 💀 baking soda and vinegar have been used for cleaning for ages
@@averyspinel literally I HAVE NO IDEA 🤣 the way I would’ve had to have spent hundreds for one little 20 second video if I had done that ! Not up in here ! People have gotten so used to being clickbaited but I’m not that kinda girl!
