I don't agree with Greg Turbo including Hax's old address in that document. Period. A lot of people are assuming they know everything about my opinions on the Hax situation based off a video I did before he was banned and I find that really strange!
@@Radarssbm consider this, I hadn't really made any comment on this besides this one, i'm just wondering if that was the reason, and don't you think it's a little childish to delist videos because you're getting sick of getting comment, I have seeing your stand on twitter responses, but it does little justice to use twitter since there's a limit to how much it can be said, and it's easy to lose comments and criticism in all that chaos, just to let you know, because the way you're wording it, you're implying greg included hax old address, which is incorrect, he didnt include, he posted the deposition, which are document that are often sealed by the judge, an not available for the public, greg knew this and posted the deposition, which have hax address, the only thing that was different was the apartment number, which doesn't make it inaccurate, people still have access to where he lives, which mind you, doxxing on itself is not illegal is the consequences that come with that action, but i'm not going to discuss that, i'm just asking if you delisted the video to keep yourself out the conversation, since I think it's important to not be acquitance with someone that acted with malicious intent, I think that is reasonable, and mind you, if you're so tired of people, simply disable the comments, no one is forcing you to interact, private your twitter if that's the issue. Yes I delisted this video because I do not want to be seen as taking a side on anything to do with any of that. I also do not condone doxxing. That said, I am simply not involved in any beef they have, and it seems like people want to drag me into all of this? My personal experiences with Greg Turbo have still been positive fwiw. I am not interested in being involved in the drama, especially on my YT channel
I have had probably 50+ discussions with people around Hax related issues (many many with Hax himself) and I am honestly just really not that interested in continuing that with random strangers (respectfully, you seem polite enough, but you get why I still don’t know you). I think judging my opinion and saying it looks bad based on a single tweet that hax himself called valid criticism and asked people not to harass me is kinda weird

I haven't watched the video yet, but you do realize(surely) that greg just left the b0xx team and made the frame1, which...while it's a stronger option, it's also one of the reasons we went from peace with our b0xxes to people complaining about SDI inputs, utilt nerfs, etc. There is a reason crane and haystack stay active in the b0xx discord. The owner of the product is responsible and taking measures to make sure our controllers are in line with what is acceptable. Frame 1 goes against this. :( Also, he's notoriously bad at getting the product out on any sort of timeframe he promises once or twice. Maybe by the 3rd promise he'll be give or take a month. B0xx has extra stock. Also, encouraging your discord to flash custom firmware(not sure if this is him or the community as a whole) is so terribly irresponsible. Rectangles are under scrutiny right now.
1)people were always complaining about boxx controllers. If you think there was a time of peace ever…you’re just wrongs 2) watch the video then, see what it says and respond to that instead of making assumptions
@@Radarssbm i wonder if he watched the video. i did, and i think box controllers make alot of sense. i also have tendonitis and will need a controller like this to seriously play. for a reason we shouldnt ban box controllers is the same reason we dont ban marth or fox. marth and fox are insanely better than my mains, but i have access to them as much as anyone. if box controllers are better, then get one. it cost less to build one than is cost for a gcc with notches. box controllers is better in many more ways than some of the tech they make easier, or just more precise. why should we inhibit progress? why not ban notching gccs? same thing. better than stock gccs. how about no modified or 3rd party controllers at all? some people who compete RIGHT NOW are using controller setups that cost more than my first car. meanwhile people who dont have as much money are forced to play with un modded gccs. is that fair? yes. because its not about the controller. its about how much time and effort you put into something. people switching to rectangles are doing it for good reasons. instead of whining about how someone elses inputs are better than yours because they use a controller design from the 80s, how about you practice more, or make the switch yourself? its not creating any more of an advantage than the jump from a stock gcc to a fully modded one. it has less of an impact in game then the discrepancy between s tier and f tier characters. the argument to ban these controllers has less merit then if i were to choose bowser in a tourney and get 4 stocked by a marth main and cry for marth to be banned. imo

PSA: GregTurbo was directly involved in the development of the B0XX with Hax so if you didn't know that, now you know. The design and layout is just as much his as it is Hax's. Like this comment for awareness.
Thanks for posting this info, I think it is important to share both the legitimacy of the two. I am in fact a frame1 user, but love the b0xx. There is one thing Greg is that hax isn't. All my frame1 fans know who I am and respect the opinions I have given about the content of the b0xx vs frame1.
I'm really impressed with how well prepared you were for this interview, clearly coming through in the nuanced questions you asked regarding controller v. box advantages & disadvantages. Keep up the great work!
Melee-side nerfs integrated into UCF sound ideal if that's possible, i.e. having a manual toggle in game for digital controllers so things like the pivot Utilt nerf can be game state specific instead having the hardware guess from the inputs.

23:30 Bruh he doesn't even look like he believes it himself when he says that it's not advantageous overall and saying that he could buff it and stay within the lines of the ancient ruleset that was made years before digital controllers were even conceived like that's somehow relevant feels so disingenuous Current controller developments could be great for accessibility especially with how affordable the F1 is but these devs are so bad at pretending like they're trying to make a fair product. If there's no standardization soon we'll just have a macro arms race in the name of "accessibility" and we're already starting to see that with the Goomwave Utilt macro.
@@stephenkasmir9261 I remember MIOM tacking on a loosely defined controller clause years ago and being essentially inactive since, but SWT has a controller addendum that looks like it's based off the B0XX manifesto that does have WD/FF restrictions so my bad on misinterpreting you there.
Unless I didn’t understood what you were saying, you sound like speaking about stuff you don’t know anything about. The current ruleset for swt was released on March 2020 (I wouldn’t call this ancient at all, considering the all world kinda went on pause since then I would even argue that it was released in present time) and is more or less the current golden standard, the digital controllers are addressed very specifically, Frame1 and b0xx are currently over nerfed based on it, you kinda sound salty over digital controllers for no real reason (and if we were to talk about wavedash and Firefox angles, once properly notched, a gcc is just straight better at those than the Frame1 and b0xx currently are :shrugg:).

@@thomascarassoditcarson5835 Yeah I corrected myself on that one in the reply. I think the state of digital VS GCC is arguable on LAN (digital is obviously better on Dolphin), GCC has benefits like full angles/shield values but there are things it physically can never do like instant 1.0 drift or easy running utilts. My problem isn't what hardware is fair or unfair in its current state, I just don't like how when the issue of tweaking comes up devs seem to be more defensive than analytical. Do you see the obvious problem with digital devs saying everything is fine if certain aspects are below a notched GCC WHILE GCC devs (namely Goomy) are saying new macros buffs are okay because it brings GCCs in line with new digital controllers? Two moving goalposts with no 3rd party mediation is not a good situation and I'm think I'm justifiably skeptical for the future because good luck finding someone willing to do the busy work or running a panel.
