I'm glad someone took the time to try m&k and see what we dealing with I personally think aim assist would be more balanced if there wasn't all the visual annoyances in the game preventing you from seeing what you're aiming at. I can't shoot what I can't see where as AA will stick thru smokes, stuns, etc. In the end it is what it is just gotta remember I'm playing against cyborgs instead of humans. 🤣

The thing about kbm on this game, isint that aim assist is too op, its the fact that all of the muzzle smoke, heat haze, sparks, bs flying out of the end of your gun obstructing the view of your target (which was never nearly as bad in any other cods) is super detrimental to kbm users because your aim is based COMPLETELY OFF OF VISUAL QUEUES by that i mean u have to have clear vision of your target to track well, with aim assist u can almost feel where someone is and all the view obstruction from shooting isint nearly as bad, its just like u said "im having trouble finishing my kills" its because its hard to track and shoot, although in ranked snd i snipe and im godly tbh its the one thing in the game thats better on kbm

I used to play CoD on console for the ps3 era games. Now use a kbm on PC for years. I think movement is really good on kbm, you can get used to it. It's combining WASD with mouse movement in a way to make those precise moves. It does take time to get used to though. The aim assist, snap aiming in MW2 seems OP. Trying a controller, I've noticed this thing sometimes if you're firing at someone holding down right trigger and it loses tracking; the aim assist will stop firing the gun for you till it reacquires the tracking. Seems crazy as I feel those bullets should be emptying your ammo. I'll test it some more to confirm it. But yeah controller just seems ridiculous now. I'll try using controller more to confirm it. I need to get more comfortable with a controller to have a true comparison haha.

Kbm is 10 times harder then controller. I recently switched and I can honestly say that a lot of the aiming is down for you on controller. Granted if you a decent player once you learn the key binds and movement you will be a decent play on kbm.

KBM is hard because most don't know how to set up for optimum game play. It's taken me years and many hours of youtube watching to learn myself. I've settled on DPI of 1600, MW3 in game mouse sens of 4.00 and monitor coefficient of 0.00, FOV 118........now I land way way more shots, can snap and track so much easier. I have a 42" 4k gaming monitor, so might be slightly different settings for you.

If you use K&M expect to lose 90% of your 1v1 fights even if you have camering in your advantage , better angle and first start shooting. You will still lose it because that aim assist is glued to you

People really oversell the importance of Aim Assist. If you're relying on aim assist to get your kills. you'll always have that as a crutch. Movement + Gamesense will always be superior. Put a controller in the hands of someone that has those though... thats when you get pro level plays

I think people forget an FPS game consist of three parts. The first two you mentioned Movement and Game sense are vital but so is aim. Without having to devote as much thought to aim frees up mental capacity to focus on the other two. Imagine for a second you had the best possible movement and gamesense but couldn't hit a shot you wouldn't be able to do much. This is why Aim Assist is very important to keep crossplay fun and fair but this recent iteration of it is overpowered only because the visuals in the game are a nerf to K&M. Aim Assist is unphased by smoke, dust particles from nades, sometimes stuns, and all the other visual obstructions. I hope they could find a balance one day.

I've decided to move on because there are so many more players that are happy with the current state of AA that I doubt they will change it back. Sure they brought movement back but what does that matter if like you said AA can spin the other player around with buy just having the smallest amount of input not even in the right direction.

Played with both. I’m solid on k&m, but just popped on the controller to see and WTF it’s so OP. 1v1 fights on the k&m almost impossible, controller easy. The only advantage I see is my aim is on point because of playing with k&m, slap aim assist and a controller on and it’s like a hack.

Controller is the big goldfinger in this game, but this game get included to every variant playing method into one server, you couldn't defeat the Controllers with keyboard mouse nowadays. One thing, Controller has Aim assist.

I thought I was the only one the input from k&m feels so off compared to the other Warzone. It could be the fact that they removed raw input from the game and now the game uses your Windows sens in combination with your mouse dpi and in-game sens.

You can beat aim assist on MnK if you get to a certain skill level but it takes alot of practice, as well as grinding aimlabs and kovaaks, i'll never switch to controller lol

@@pabloriojas4831 I use a couple warzone playlists on Kovaaks but if you dont wanna buy koovaaks aimlabs is free i think and the youtuber strahfe has a few playlists on there, focus on long flicks and use the smooth bot scenario for tracking

i play kbm for 30 years now and im a rust veteran with 12k hours , i shit on most guys having a kd over 2, but cod against joypad kiddies with aimassist which is op as hell is not funny. this game is just frustrating over time. you cant snake properly, you need a lot more ammo and so on..

but how long have you used a keyboard for ? i gamed only on console and controller until this game i play pc and mnk now but i’ve known my way around a keyboard (super fast typist ) since i was 11 , i know where all the keys are without looking at the keyboard which is a big advantage to begin with.. i’ve tried controller on this game and my hands cramp, i get sore fingers (claw grip) and i can’t aim 😂 i also now claw grip my mouse which improved my aiming a bit, it’s personal pref without sim assist being a thing. controller players who are good snap on you so fast,

I tried controller for 2 days, not a controller user I can't even look straight or walk properly with it but I managed to kill 10 people with 40 deaths in showdown. Imagine playing for a longer time. My kd with mnk is usually .65 to .89. always get killed by jumping monkeys around the corners.
