Im a 17 year old high school senior in the United States about to graduate. Im heading to Wilberforce University (1st Private HBCU, NAIA D2) and am already on the team. I am 6'0", 185 (pretty muscular), after playing for my college for 4 years, what places should I target to play overseas? (I haven't had the greatest highlights or stats in highschool, but this mostly due to COVID and Injuries. Is there anything specifically you reccomend me doing (Stats, highlights, games? Or any of your specific videos I should watch? (They are amazing btw, subbed) Thanks

Thanks for the comment. I would focus firstly on improving and developing your game as much as possible for the next four years. Try to move up from NAIA D2 if your skills/opportunity allows it. The higher the level you climb, the more marketable you will be when you graduate in four years. Collect continuous film over the next four years and create an 'ULTIMATE HIGHLIGHT TAPE' at the end. The absolute best stuff over the span of four years. Next, where are your parents/family from? Is there any possibility to explore another citizenship? See if your school, peers, coaches have any connections overseas. Network like crazy while playing. Good luck.
This is on point. I’ve seen first hand referees throw out players due to misinterpretation of body language or just not understanding what the players is saying . Also not secluding yourself is super important.

💯! The “world-is-against-me- mentality” won’t get you far.
How difficult is it for an undersized point guard to make a team overseas?

I’ve seen them before but you better be quick as lightning ⚡️ at that size, have a lethal jumper, be a floor general etc. Some countries/regions lack athleticism and quickness so they look for that in imports sometimes (Europe usually) while other regions need bigger players since they’re naturally smaller (Asia). Understand where you should be looking.
Im going to albania tmmr but only for $500 a month im a D1 athlete so hopefully i go up after this season to a bigger situation to help me financially and help my family.
Is Eurobasket summer league legit i’m interested in playing overseas

Depends on the type of player. They work beautifully for European passport holders (Bosman A/B, Cotonou). A little less for straight imports. Although I’ve seen some success stories of Americans getting deals. I’d say it’s one of the better opportunities out there. What’s your nationality?
I'm trynna play pro basketball in any country in Europe im an Irish citizen im living in Nigeria I have not played organized basketball before I only play streetball im 18 can I'm pretty tough can u help me

If you are an Irish citizen then my first thought would be to try and play in your domestic league in Ireland. That is the likely the country that you have the most connections and contacts in. You also wouldn't count against the import/foreigner quota. And I am assuming you may also have family there that could potentially house/help you as you follow your dreams.
@@obinnanwankwo4299 like u said, u havent played organized ball, would be hard starting on a Spanish team instead who will count u as an import. Trust me building ur career from the Irish league is not bad, u can then move up to the British Basketball league if good enough
