ABOUT THIS CHANNEL:
We, Nicholas Clark and Marlon Watts started this clothing brand with 12 t-shirts ($120). We turned those t-shirts into an apparel empire. After graduating college, we decided to step into our clothing company full-time. We created this RU-vid channel to show the journey of building a brand. We create behind-the-scenes vlogs so you can see the life behind running a successful clothing brand. We also feature other clothing lines, streetwear brands, or any entrepreneur looking to create a clothing brand startup business.
Support the channel and learn more about starting a clothing brand and starting a brand from scratch ➔ / @wrldinvsn

Entire video was a jewel. One piece that stuck with me is on collaborating. You can't view collaborating as a quick way to get the bag. You need to present value as to why the collaboration is a good fit for both brands. That's a jewel.

1)I learned that getting data from your customers is very important. It gives you someone to promote upcoming releases to,it helps with getting more sales,& getting you repeat customers.
@kommasinc
I love the fact that marlon said I’m the reason my brand isn’t growing. That really spoke volumes

I learnt a lot in this video. But what I learnt the most was doing pop shops. I started my brand after my dad passing and my story is all about trying to find the positive in a tough situation. I want to spread positivity as much as I can and let people know that everything will be ok and that everyone has it in themselves to keep pushing and keep working towards their dreams. I’ve had my online store for almost two years and I noticed that it wasn’t doing as well as it did when I just started. I then found you guys and you have helped me a lot. And in this video the pop shop strategy really stuck with me because I haven’t gone out and tried to sell in person. Mainly because I do orders on demand. But I think that’s the move I need to make in order to grow my brand and really spread the word of positivity to people around the world.

I was thinking about the collab thing too for my brand and future endeavors. And I was thinking after the collabs have the design and manufacturing they split the cost and the order, then each brand sells the split order on their sites… would that be a good system??

I learned to just change my mindset on what a sale really is talk to your customers tell them what your business is about and let them decide to buy or not don’t really think of it as a sales pitch but really just telling them about why your doing this going to implement this today

Breaking even is for data retention...Even though you may not make profit on the front end, you now have the database to market to on the back end, which is what will make your business. Plus, you now have product out on bodies to help build brand awareness. That's a gem.

I like how N. Clark said get closer to someone who's already doing it and how N. Castro said don't try to sell, just tell the story and wait. 🔥🔥🔥 Video everyone.

Another great video! I take a note from each one of y’all videos! Keep putting out great content! As usual the biggest take away from this video is making sure you’re hitting the ground with your sales as much as you’re focused on you’re E-commerce!
