Humans should just work like in dayz, literally the best solution, give em a simple inventory and stuff to collect around - gadgets and all that like water bottles, hunting knifes etc
In theory there were going to be two classes of humans, the civilized and the uncivilized. I think it would be a good idea for the civilized to start by arriving by boat to one of the facilities, but the boat is attacked by a sea dinosaur and the player appears with the basic equipment on the dock and no map or compass or anything. I think they will have quite a technological advantage and starting directly in a base would be too much. And in the middle of the island it would not make sense.
Honesty more excited for the tribals then the regular humans. Humans setting up camps, using bows and spears seems far more interesting(and easier to balance) to me then a dude with a gun.

You just reminded of the Jurassic Park Danger Zone games where the goal was to collect enough DNA from a species of dinosaur to successfully clone them. Sounds like a game-loop to me!
Some human dinosaur symbiosis would be awesome! Dinos giving people protection in exchange for food and shelter. Though I draw the line at riding them, too Ark-ish. Humans being able to plant things and farm animals, even dinos, would be a dream
Nice vid, the idea of having like human-dinosaur groups is quite cool and would be a good aspect, like imagine a human just pulls up walking an omni raptor or something

I feel like it would be cool to have them there , but as like a side character. Keep them weakish, playing human should be playing the isle on hard mode. Maybe they go around doing little missions around the map while not tryna get eaten
I think it's an amazing idea. I really want to be able to play a survival game as a human on an island with realistic dinosaurs, and not like that Ark, where it wouldn't matter if they were dinosaurs or Pokémon. And also as a dinosaur that must protect itself from humans or hunt them while having to survive in a dangerous environment. I think the Evrima version is already playable enough as a dinosaur that they could focus a bit more on humans now. Dinosaurs already have enough mechanics to make the gameplay experience entertaining, but humans are more complex and will need more mechanics, including roleplay.

5:00 always keep in mind for all the stuff we get to see theres still a bunch we havent seen yet. Humans in the current livebuild are basically just pawns to move around the map with barely any features and animations. That does not mean they haven't been worked on. The current human pawn remains basically the same as when they were first made playable. And going off of dev comments there seems to be a lot of stuff already worked on behind the scenes that are gonna get added in incremental steps (my guess is to lay the foundation for humans to actually have stuff to do once the full experience is planned to drop. But to reiterate just cause we can't see sth doesn't mean it's not being worked on.
But I never said they ain't being worked on :) I know they have been working on humans for a while, on and off. And I have also seen plenty of what they will be doing with them and their plans, the point there with that weird kick was that it wasn't there before, it was an actual kick, and they could eat before and take meat chunks, now they can not so I was confused why this was changed when it is a step backwards, like why add it, you get me?
@@ucjgaming ah gotcha. I think that weird kick might just be sth on the pawn breaking. In one of dons recent stream we did see "merc" and "merc - old" in the character select tab that devs can use to instantly switch playables. I think were still on "merc - old" and once the new humans are done cooking they'll just get dropped in a ht
The devs should make a same species proximity chat for ungrouped players and a non proximity chat for same species grouped players, I think this would improve player encounters and make for some funny moments, it would also give me a reason to dig up my headset that I got for PC
Humans have been teased so many times, that it’s kind of become something like: oh hey, another human teaser….cool Ever since it’s first alpha trailer theres been an expectation that humans would be added and there gonna dangerous going around in jeeps and wielding rifles around various bases. Yet it has never, ever, happened. You feel me? Humans have always sort of been on the sidelines. Never quite worked on, and whenever mercenaries did get added it has always been very veeery w.i.p.

They should make it so humus would need a fair to get across to that Ireland and so like do Utah raptor can hide in the storage area of the ferry and kill everyone while the fairies out at sea
I like the whole idea of that Island but think about it it's going to be so many pteranodons there because there's nothing to punish them on the way to the island
Humans could work on "Contracts" where they're only allowed to hunt certain dinosaurs and maybe are.required to take them alive which would take cooperation between humans and utilization of vehicles.
One thing I'm concerned about are hackers/cheaters spawning in guns/vehicles and ammo to effectively decimated the whole server, something hacking a single Dino could never do
@@smefour But a hacking dino can speed hack, mesh bite, regain stam/health/food instantly and rarely fly. So I don't think humans hacking would be much worse lol but the devs should just work on a good anti cheat
@@NekroticNewt Who knows! I know we will have access to the computers within the isle eventually. So it would be cool if there you could search up each dino and see stats about them and like how aggressive they can be and so on
@@ucjgaming if they add a currency system to humans maybe the best way to make money is through the dinosaurs like harvesting a sample from a dead dinosaur or selling a live caught one maybe putting it to sleep via tranquilizers and or traps and you can have a large payout depending on the species like a rex sample or specimen would be worth more then a carno or allo sample or specimen maybe that can be the gameplay loop for humans collect samples and specimens for in game currency to buy stuff at a terminal or something idk

I feel like when humans come out there will be too many people being humans. I think humans should be available in a separate beta I don’t think they should get lots of powerful weapons because I just don’t think it’d fit but I would love to play as human some time

@@user-ez3pl7rj1g Well the game has always had human lore in it, since the start. But yes Gateway has got a lot more human elements to it and will have more coming as well, the walls also I do get your point, can be fairly annoying to have to walk all the way around
For human cars it should be like the Dino Stamina where you can rest to get your energy back since the car should be electric where the roof of the car is a solar panel and if the solar panel is damaged you’ll get fuel much slower if not no fuel regain at all so then if your solar panels are damaged there are resources around the map that can repair it. And you can upgrade your cars like mutations but you can only upgrade 1 specific trait like make it so your car is faster but burns battery fast or Your Solar panel is stronger but your car is slightly slower or maybe you can upgrade your car storage but you car will take damage easier
Alot of god ideas actually, humans being able to grow plants would be awesome i like that one alot. The only thing i hope they dont do with humans, is make The isle into a dinosaur hunting simulator 😆. And yeah I doubt humans would have that much of an impact that it would hurt the dinosaur side, I think humans will be quite fragile and easy to kill as it won't be easy for them to find weapons. But tribals and cannibals on the other hand, we shall see where that goes!
I predict a lot of mix packing with humans, personally I wouldnt mind teaming up with them if I was playing something like Troodon or Herrera, in exchange for being a early alarm system for danger they let me chill in their base for protection as well lol. At least, thats what I'd like to do if I can convince some of my friends that prefer playing humans to join the game once they're out lol.
i kinda feel like if they wanted that type of gameplay with humans building, taming and warring.. they should have started with that... theyre gonna lose ALLLOOOOOoooot of players when humans start turning this game into gta
@@keeva2007 I wouldn't say they would lose players. Humans will only be in unofficials and not every unofficial is going to enable them. So you'll always have the choice of humans or no humans 😊

Awesome video!! (watch out for orni saying ovi is a piece of shit xD) I think humans should be able to be oneshotted by any dino above 300kg or just a strong build. Pretty much just not OP like a human shouldn't be able to just spawn in and absolutely merc a fg teno, and I hope they dont make it like arc so the isle doesn't turn into a human based game. Humans should also be very defenceless no matter what equipment they have, dinosaurs should be able to out stat them in any case, night vision, hp, damage, speed etc. I think the base building you mentioned would just be small tents. I also hope dinosaurs would be able to smell human bases and humans themselfs.
@@ucjgaming yes orni absolutely adores ovi lol, tbf I dont mind the dino but there is definitely some better additions before it. I mean in all honesty I prefer smaller - medium/large carnivores, but love massive herbivores like sauropods. (I love austroraptor and any sauropod + anky)
I am one of the people that’s perfectly OK with the humans never being put in the game. It would be interested if the people were tribal early humans. The idea of modern weapons is just offputting to me. As a dinosaur, you just don’t stand a chance against modern weapons. In my opinion, if they don’t set some servers aside for dinosaurs only I think it’s going to hurt the game badly, possibly even to the point of it being dead. Because it’s really easy to off-balance the game with modern weapons. Because no matter how rare a shotgun or an RPG would be you’re still going to be extremely pissed when some little human randomly blows your T-Rex’s head off or one shots your Dino that you spent 4 to 5 hours growing. I don’t know. Maybe I’m being paranoid about it. I don’t know.
I just hope humans will be slow do that they cannot hunt dinos. Or don't give them powerful weapons. Imagine growing a dino for three hours only for three humans in trucks with Sniper Rifles to chase and murder you. Humans should be able to defend themselves but not hunt dinos, it is gonna ruin the fun imo. A solution could ve to only enable them on unofficials
@@stephanwagner6189 I mean if you heard what I said there is a solution. Same as a player growing a diablo for 3 hours can lose their growth to another player who also grew some hours. If guns have to be found and are hard to find then it would take humans hours to get a gun and then hours to get a car/truck ready and able to run any dino over, so then it's justified. Hope this made sense 😊
