I'd personally go for a more general kaiju game, all the big ones would be available and maybe some ones that aren't as iconic would be DLC As for gameplay, maybe you could have a story mode in there but I'd personally have a mode where you move through cities or your kaiju's territory and the government may try to stop you, alongside random events happening like encountering other kaiju or getting a special mission, maybe certain kaiju would be locked until you encounter them? Off the top of my head, Godzilla, Kong, Mothra, and Mecha-Godzilla are requirements, perhaps Gamera would be there as well. DLC, I'm thinking Space Godzilla-type characters alongside alternate versions of the base roster characters, probably no more than 2 kaiju packs and DLC would be good and done unless maybe fans requested a certain character.
If you add the Giant Octopus in the roster I'm playing this game I can play as the Giant Octopus and become the next king of the monsters plus I think adding Orga, Gezora, King Kong 33, and Ebirah would be cool in the game
The roster is almost exactly as how I would make it. Though I'd throw in Bagan as the true final boss. and maybe have some of the other versions of the monsters as skins like a final wars gigan for a skin (if he wasn't listed on the games roster)
I would probably have made at least 32 so there could be like a mode where you can make a tournament and watch the monsters just right as NPC’s like a movie but I’m not sure it would be that great
Might I say I do like that character roster and would keep it, but I would add a few monsters or Godzilla’s, like FinalGoji, Monster X, Titanosaurus(Because I think he doesn’t get enough recognition and I love the sea dino) as well as Godzilla 1962 and 1964.

A new Godzilla game needs to play like the Atari/Pipeworks trilogy the updated fighting mechanics. With todays technology, you can use destroy almost every building instead of a few in the Destroy all monsters. And the need a adventure more and a action mode. Adventure a story mode and can be where it plays like the PS4 Godzilla but is also a subtle remake to Super Godzilla. You choose Godzilla and you do missions to destroy UFOS, the mother ship, and the boss in each stage without it feeling repetitive. Also have you destroy buildings if possible. The action mode similar to Arcade mode and is where you mainly help save the earth and you do missions like help monsters, and add improved mini games from Save the earth. destruction, Team Battle, and versus mode needs to return. Also create a monster should be in it. They should also have also have adventure story mode where you play as a monster and a human like Peter Jackson’s King Kong: The Official game of the movie.
ooh and we need godzilla showa (60s) godzilla heisei (1984 since he didnt get too much attention) godzilla '98 (he is only called zilla in final war) godzilla 2000 and gmk and monsterverse godzilla
Why not make an open world godzilla game create and customize your oc monster and the missions can be anything stop world pollutionor fighting mecha monsters and other ,even get the graphics of warframe and skyrim while you play you get to evolve your monster
I have to disagree with you a bit here and the walking style/movement speed was one of the worst aspects of the ps4 game to a casual Godzilla fan. I'm sure it excited a lot of Heisei enthusiasts but the truth is in order to appeal to a general audience they need to move faster like in the pipeworks games.
I’d make a open world kaiju simulator whare you can swim the sea freely and when you make landfall on a city the military sends the standard army weaponry and as you keep destroying a city they send more advanced technology to attack you and when you decimate a city they send ether mechagodzilla or jet Jaguar after you and if you escape into the ocean the army will send battleships and the mech after you, your hub area will be monster island whare you can upgrade Godzilla and customize him like changing his dorsal fins and you can unlock skins for Godzilla like the monsterverse skin shin Godzilla Godzilla 2000 and more like spider-man PS4 you can also upgrade Godzilla to unlock super moves like the red spiral atomic breath sometimes you can encounter another kaiju destroying a city and you can ether assist the kaiju in its rampage or you can get in a fight with it and other kaiju are also playable as well like Mothra Anguirus rodan gigan kong king ghidorah and others other kaiju and skins for those kaiju would be dlc and thare would be a story mode.
