I have been enjoying tf out of it, cup of the day is cool and all but there are so many other things to do in the game. I think COTD hasnt been great for him as of late bc if he doesnt get Div 1 people roast and complain and if he does push to get Div 1, its not fun for him to do bc of the pressure.
I find it crazier that somebody responded to him. Like sure he knows something's up and that Wirtual might have OBS capturing chat, but the other guy had *no* reason to be in chat.
@@ludy3738 I'm not him, but still, for me it's something like not having distractions, cringy donations and wirtual talking about either gameplay or what he wants to talk about, not what chat wants to hear
Twitch chat is cringe and thinks holds up spork type jokes are hilarious, when chat is flashing on screen it draws your eye to it. Plus audio is ruined by either having to be muted for music or wooo twitch prime. We just wanna watch our race boi in peace ☹️
@@ludy3738 Chat being there changes what he talks about and how he talks about it if that makes sense. He's generally less distracted and gets to stay on his own train of thought. Also, doing something for a RU-vid video is different than doing something and performing for a live chat audience while doing it.
@@morgank6268 Just to add, the thing I like about it is that since there's no "Haha streamer didn't get division 1, streamer bad haha" he is much more calm and relaxed, it just feels more like trying to do his best rather than feeling forced to perform at a certain level if that makes sense. I know he has talked about that he doesn't like playing COTD as much anymore and I think doing things like this offline just lets him play the game.
I really like the fact that Wirtual (all right, Buckley) now incorporates other Trackmania creators, sure adds the vibe of community and collaboration to the videos
How to come from literally "not a chance he can win this, he's the outsider" to "let him know a 58sec beat him" that's literally the definition of pulling a wirtual 🤣🤣🤣
I've really been enjoying this content recently. You have a very different voice in non streamed videos, and I don't know how to explain it, I just really think it's a great watch. For those of you who watch Caedral, it feels like when he goes full analyst mode. I like the information
these different tournament videos have been really great, shows how much of a variety their really is in this game, also these off stream videos are a vibe
I enjoy seeing the diversity in community maps, especially ones that don’t have to overkill the scenery (cotd) and instead mean more maps about driving.
Hey Wirtual! I have recently gotten my first world record! it was on a royal ice map and I vividly remember realising there's still some room for improvement after seeing the world record. The map was based on 3 main parts, an ice slide into a drop down and another ice slide into the finish. I remember pretty much always being ahead of WR on the first ice slide, then losing a lot of speed on the drop down and having the world record overtake me by a lot before the finish. After a couple runs, I realised that the reason I'm losing so much speed is because I would always gear up before the drop down, when in reality I had to gear up right when I landed. And while I didn't know why this was I was still happy I ended up figuring this out. About 20-30 minutes later I kept on just spamming runs and hoping for the right gear up but to no avail. I had felt as if this gear-up was so random, and you just had to get lucky in order to get WR. I then remembered a tip you used to always give out to new players on how to improve at the game - look at better players and try to figure out how and why they do certain stuff. After what I would call over-analysing the track, I remembered that, in one of your old videos where you had Micka try and teach you ice, he mentioned how if you keep your car at a 90 degree angle you cannot gear up. So I pretty much realised that, if I just make sure to have my car at a 90 degree angle before the drop down and then slightly angle my car right before I drop, I'll be able to keep the gear and gear up right when I land. Welp, safe to say I was very pleased with myself because just about 10 minutes later I not only got WR, but improved it by a lot. the entire top 5 were tens to thousands of seconds apart, but I had improved the world record by a whole 2 tenths of a second, which just really showed me that, by trying to understand how certain game mechanics work, I can not only be a whole of a lot faster, but things can also come much easier and more consistent. Thanks a lot! And I still hold the WR to this day :)
I don't play trackmania. Was linked you a while back on a vid about catching cheaters. I like racing in general. I like your positivity. Your genuine enjoyment for this game always shines through. Keep being awesome🖖
Wirtual, you are being too humble. You are a top tier player, don't tell yourself anything else. The fact that you are good in a lot of different types of tracks and can win stuff like this against people who specialize in a single track type shows that you are among the best of the best in Trackmania.
Well at least with the few rounds before you did show you were capable of beating Bead in a round without any lag/disconnecting. The cuts to other streams in the last few videos are greatly appreciated, by the way. Your editors have been doing a great job, and the extra work is definitely noticed.
i love how wirtual always seems to be the "big streamer guy" in these kinda tournaments. crazy how the biggest Trackmania streamer can give you the feeling of "rooting for the underdog". its like drake and his beef rn. he is literally the biggest rapper out there and yet he is the underdog. wirtual = drake confirmed.
this is super intertesting. started the game like a week ago and played ice for the first time yesteday. i failed miserably for the first 2 hrs but atleast got some idea of how its working and got some solid slides in the end. have to say from what little i played this surface might be the most fun. one question though how do you see what gear you are in, is that some setting? seems very helpful aswell coz i mostly struggle with reproducing what i have done in earlier rounds
this is a perfect display what "concentrating on a task" do... it would be interesting if someone can make a graph of how many wirtual speaks compare to his performance each round, the geaph gonna even out/ flat out near middle and the end buts its because "task repetition and experience"
