It's so impressive that a Sheltie only gets wet on the top and the bottom coat is super dry and after the shower they get dry super quick.

Crazy! Her bum always seems dry no matter how wet I get it. Challenging when trying to bathe her but it works out!

Hi! Belle is growing up to be so beautiful! Considering your experience with Shelties, may I ask what they’re like? I’ve been looking to get a small-medium size dog that’s cuddly, intelligent and active enough to go on hikes but will also be a couch potato with me. Do you think Shelties are a right fit for my ideals?

Hi, thank you! Happy to answer your questions. I definitely think a sheltie would fit your needs. In my experience, our female shelties have been cuddlier than the male ones, however, they are all loving! Very intelligent, active, and definitely enjoy laying on the couch!

Thanks for this video :) I have my Sheltie Mera at home for 2 weeks now :) She had one accident and I had to take her to the bath tub. She did extremely well as her grandmother and mother like to swim :) Maybe Belle is also from "swimming family"? I know some shelties don't like water :)

I should really ask our breeders! We have never had a sheltie enjoy water but ! Belle has been a pleasant surprise!

I love Shelties but am intimidated by grooming a dog with a double coat. Did you blow dry Belle or was that not necessary?

I didn’t blow dry her. I towel dry her really well, let her air dry and start brushing once dry. If I had a better blow dryer and some help I would blow dry her, but her undercoat dries so fast it isnt an issue!
